I think the only reason why bloom vs diana thing exist is because diana is the leader of the major nature fairies and bloom is leader of the winx. I mean I think that's the reason
Madeeha Shah-Khan Nah It’s just Bloom being given all the clout while her friends just follow. It would’ve been a special moment for Flora showing her powers and that she is able to be powerful by herself.
I wanted that so bad. I don't care if Flora lost she could have given her all vs. Diana. Flora vs. Diana Aisha vs. Aurora Tecna vs. Sibylla Musa vs. Nebula Stella and Bloom vs. Morgana
@u bitches are my sons sirenix is still fine too, i think it’s the last transformation where they actually had to do something to get it (e.g. they got mythix just because of the magic wands and butterflix... honestly idek LMAO)
@u bitches are my sons uh only bloomix was yuck but dreamix and onyix was pretty good because we seen the winx fairies are more like the transion between teen and adult stage of life
@Stella Star actually on s7 in the finale they crushed the Winx, who only got saved by their fairy animals. On s8 they earned each a Prime star (which is better than what the Winx did) and they proved to be smarter than the Winx. Icy saved the Winx by giving the last Prime star to Bloom instead of Valtor, if she chose Valtor the Winx would have been doomed. On s5 first half the Trix were more powerful than the Winx and in many battles they had the upper hand. In s6 they still gave the Winx a run for their money and at the end of the season they nearly destroyed Bloom. Keep in mind that the Trix are just 3, while the Winx are 6 (and of them has the Dragon Flame) + the Specialists. They're always at numeric disadvantage with the Winx and yet they manage to give them a run for their money. Besides... They're just 3 regular girls who didn't even finish their studies at Cloudtower. Valtor is an ancient demon created by the Ancestral Witches, Darkar is a God, the Wizards of the Black Circle were centuries old, the Ancestral Witches were the first creatures of evil (after Darkar)... The Trix are just 25 by the end of s8, they didn't even finish their studies... Of course they're not as experienced as the other villains, but despite this they've outlived them and they've managed to do more damage than all of them. There's a reason why the greatest forces of evil of the Magic Dimension relied on them to achieve their goals: they knew they were the most powerful witches in the magic dimension.
@Dark Angel I agree on everything but why did you consider them pathetic in S8? I think they did well in S8 and it's the first time that they end up happy and free
Oh I know, right. I love the story’s twist on removing the op protagonist from the forces of good. It not only gave bloom a vulnerability, but also allowed the supporting cast to stand on their own... even if they had to rely on her for the season’s climax.
Rbck Oh? Why? And I don’t mean this in a manner to be insulting. I’m just genuinely curious about your aversion, because I personally think that it’s one of fantasy’s best tropes.
I just feel like the way Diaspro legit made Sky want to kill Bloom and the winx with Valtor's influence that day was insane. Like TO THIS DAY, that was so mind boggling to me. Like that was a huge game changer for me when that episode aired.
That's probably why rainbow doesnt want to make more "chidlgfriendly" episodes cuz you woulf never see that type of winx episode ever again, it's sad that that's the truth but i also feel annoyed cuz Winx had the most potential as a good show and series
@@samurai_ionian I was traumatized by the Halloween Episode from season 2. I don't know why because I watched Lord of the Rings at the same time and never got nightmares xD
Here's a very easy way they could have made Acheron interesting. Have Selena be his daughter, separated from her real family and raised on earth like Bloom. Turn the basic bad guy into a dark reflection of King Oritel. A man so hell bent on getting revenge on the people who took his family away, he ignores the family he has left in favour of what he sees as "judgement". It also gives Selena more dimension.
Omg this, just this can litterally fill in an entire season, so why didn't they do that instead. Just add one little detail like father daughter and the entire story changes
I don't think they got surpassed by Tritanus. It's just that he was a merman they needed a water transformation, since it was a new challenge for them to fight underwater it was harder in the beginning. There's no proof sirenix was more than enchantix.
Yup I know right but Tritannus is still better that Callshara and her whatdog- I take Tritannus over Callshara and her whatdog anyday because he is evil, sexy and horrifying monster looking - I mean Tritannus is still more intimidating that callshara and her whatdog
Dude you gave that whole description of Darkar's suit of armor , how's its dried blood and he's a skeleton but the only thing I remember thinking if he was a humanoid ant.
even as a child Valtor captivated me and was instantly my favorite villain, my gothic adult self is still captivated by him and is definitely someone that influenced my taste in men XD
@@roccovasquez3836 in diaspro's defence she had a lot of potential. the animatord and writers just disregarded her. yeah, she's bratty, annoying, selfish, but she was cheated on. her anger was justifiable when she was introduced but the writers just didn't allow her to get over that anger. that's just my take on it, though. you have your opinions and i have mine.
The real villian of Winx is Bloom. Do yall remember in season 3 when Bloom was like "Nooo, we can't kill Valtor, I need to meet my parents through him😢" even thou Layla's planet was having a apocalypse due to Valtor
Lets not forget the time when she was Passive aggresive towards Roxy in S5 all because Roxy said she was like a big sister to her. Yet again playing the victim
Can we just all agree that the third season of the show is the best. It has the most iconic transformation, the best villain and stakes are higher than ever (people are literally dying and get seriously damaged like every five episodes). It's truly the emotional climax of the show
Not gonna lie, I kinda like Darkar better. I like the more calculated approach with the huge culmination of “I can corrupt the most powerful fairy known to the magical universe” and, as cliche as it is, the only reason they all ended up okay was at the last second with Sky managing to get Bloom back to normal followed by “Winx convergence!” Just. Very satisfying. Valtor is probably my second or third favorite as a result.
I’m not going to lie Darkar scared the living hell out of me when I was younger. My only complaint is that we didn’t get to see Dark Bloom fight the winx but that’s personal opinion of mine.
@@BB_Creative I agree, Darkar is actually a surprisingly intense villain for a children's show, his design is actually pretty menacing, his performance in all 3 versions of the English Dub are pretty excellent, He's actually very cunning as seen by how when the pixies wouldn't reveal the location of their home, he basically cast a homesickness spell and proceeded to let them unintentionally lead him there, plus he is a legitimately powerful enemy as even when the Trix fused into one and tapped into their Gloomix to fight Darkar, he was able to dispatch them with minimal effort, it's why Darkar is honestly my personal favorite villain.
I was so surprised about Morgana & her fairy friends to appear here & even so high on the list but it all makes so much sense? Season 4 is somewhat really damn interesting and weird at the same time, though it delivered realness like no other season imo
So what I'm getting is that Winx Club is like the Teen Titans of Magical Girl, It was going somewhere very strong to the point of even bringing older audiences, but the suits up top were like "Yeah, how about no, we need to sell toys & target impressionable kids specifically girls who'll watch it regardless of quality!"
I'm a guy, and I grew up with an older sister so I obviously watched Winx. I loved it. I am currently rewatching it (still on season 1). The show can be watched by anyone honestly. The plot of each episode is really interesting and very well executed, and I love the setting of the show. They actually explore mature topics and it's just overall very good. But then Nickelodeon came along and ruined everything. They made the show SPECIFICALLY for young children so they can sell toys and the show lost all the charm it had.
This could a fanfic lore, but this also could have worked Canonically: There was a way they could have had Sapphire and Icy be adoptive sisters and kept the Trix as triplets; the Trix could’ve been split up at birth by the lightrock council, and sent to different planets. The Trix could’ve still been the direct descendants of the ancestral witches by way of the Ancestresses creating a spell that gave their powers (or basic elements) to three baby girls that would have been born in the future, in case they died and also so Darkar could continue to have three powerful servants to do his bidding. In other words, The Trix were meant originally to be incarnations of the ancestresses. The spell would only work together on blood relations, basically it would only work on triplets. Lightrock council found out about this spell shortly after the fall of domino and Valtor’s imprisonment and searched all over the magical demension for these so called ‘direct descendants’. Some on the council were so terrified of the ancestresses that they didn’t want to risk their return or continuation of their legacy, so they wanted the trix killed. This meeting was done in secret without Faragonda, Griffin, Saladin, and certain rulers (that’s why none of the headmasters of the magic colleges knew anything about the Trix in back in season 1) who would have have likely obejected to and outed the council for even considering infanticide. The Trix narrowly escaped this fate, and were instead split up to be raised on other planets. This was done in the hope that the Trix wouldn’t grow up to be evil. They were to never be told of their true potential, their relationship to the ancestresses (in fact, the Trix were kept in isolation or controlled environments to keep them from accidentally hearing about the ancestresses), and had their powers greatly restricted which the Trix would never know or get suspicious of until they got older. The only thing that they could be told that was the truth was their names; Icy, Darcy, and Stormy. Icy was sent to Diamond, and Darcy and Stormy were sent to two other planets. Icy was more the more fortunate (if you can call it fortune) of her sisters, as she was adopted by the King & Queen of Diamond. Both monarchs were apart of the lightrock council and pitied icy, and took her home with them to be their eldest daughter, as they had no children as of yet. They argued heavily against separating the infant sisters, as they were still family and all they needed was to be raised properly in a loving and positive environment, but the they were overruled by a majority of the council. Since ice magic utilizes crystalline structures, and Diamond was know for its crystal magic, the King and Queen thought that they could do the best for Icy if she were trained in using her powers in a positive way and in a manner that they were familiar with. Later, the ruling couple had Sapphire, but tried to make sure that Icy didn’t feel alienated, which worked to a point. Icy was kinder then and did feel loved. She loved her parents and adored her little sister Sapphire. However, she always felt...different, but she could never seem to explain why. She wasn’t mistreated, in fact she had everything a princess could want, but she would receive stares and hear whispers from those around her. Servants, courtiers & nobility, guards, other children, other family members, etc. The King and Queen came up with the explanation that everyone was just awed and perplexed by her ice magic, which was rare and difficult to master on Diamond (This was a lie that they reluctantly told icy in the hope that she wouldn’t be bothered by the stares and gossip) and icy never minded the gossip and stares again for a time. As she grew, icy’s powers got more powerful, more so than what was typical of her age. Icy began to have...uncontrolled uses of of her powers, and her parents got nervous. They’d begin to clash with her about it, and these arguments would further Icy’s alienation. She still loved her sister Sapphire though. About a year before the Shaman witch appeared, Icy started having reoccurring dreams about her birth sisters (unbeknownst to her and them) and the ancestresses, particularly of Belladonna, who she had inherited her powers and strength from. (That’s virtually all I have for Icy now.) Both Darcy and Stormy were told that their parents were dead and that they were horrible criminals (as to explain why they were mistreated by everyone around them). (I know the backstory for these two is short, but I can’t think of anything else for them right now, since the show never gave or hinted at their exact backstories, though I wouldn’t surprised if both weren’t raised in luxury like Icy). To finish summarizing this Fanon lore, the Trix meet a few years before they attended cloud tower. The spirits of the ancestresses guide the 3 of them to each other and they meet in obsidian or some other place that’s significant to them. I really thought that it be interesting if the Trix ended up becoming evil ironically because they were generally pushed into situations that caused them to make certain decisions. Sorry to ramble for so long.😅
SuperPsychic101 I thought back in season 3 that it made no sense that Trix hadn’t seen what each other looked if they were sisters. Then I heard that straffi in an interview said that they were not only sisters, but triplets. That made no sense to me as well, because then Stormy (who I had thought was the youngest) would have seen first hand what her two others sisters looked like as kids. I thought more about how the timeline would have worked if they were triplets after a story came up on my local news about twins who had been separated at birth but later met each other. Then it struck me; the Trix had to have been separated from birth or at least an age where they wouldn’t remember each other. It also explains their closeness, as Griffin had stated once that covens are rare because witches don’t usually like to work with others and there’s a chance that they may betray one another. What are the odds that biological sister witches would do that to one another, especially if they were all born seconds, minutes, or hours after each other? It would also explain why they act like friends at times vs sisters who have lived together (at least to me, you could chalk it up to the writing that switched hands over the seasons, but the Trix had moments where they acted like “friends” rather than sisters, like icy said they were in season 8, which I know was ret-conned, but still this theory holds up).
I’ve also noted that the ancestor witches don’t seem to care AT ALL for the Trix’s well-being. If there had been biological link to the Trix, there would have been more acknowledgement of them, unless the trix were ‘direct descendants’ in that their powers came directly from the ancestresses. I know that there are terrible families out there, but it makes more sense, as the ancestresses would have had to have biological descendants for them to be related to the Trix by blood.
i grew up with the nick dub so i didn’t really get to see Lord Darkar’s full character develop since he was only present in the 4th special. Then a couple months ago I decided to watch all of season 2 and oh my god Lord Darkar was such an interesting character. disappointing how Nick couldn’t execute his character the same way cinelume and 4kids did in season 2.
I think one of Valtor's big weak points is the fact that his goal is so vague. He wants power, but for what? He just seems to be the strongest for being the strongest. Sure, a lot of villains wanted strength. Yet for them, I can list something unique that makes them stand out. The Trix were basically hiding the shadows for as long as possible before they could snatch the Flame and cause absolute havoc. Darkar wanted access to a special realm that nearly impossible to enter, implying that there was something in that realm that would prevent anyone from gaining equal power with him. The Black Circle was gaining power by pretty much eliminating their enemies, meaning that they could easily have reigned uncheck for the longest period of time. And say what you will about Tritannus. He knew his goal, knew the steps to get there, and kept fighting till the very end. Valtor doesn't have a goal that can stand with equal footing. Another weak point with Valtor is how hard of a nosedive he takes. After Tecna's sacrifice, he pretty much goes into full hiding. Sure, he might have come out to do things like steal that magic McGuffin box, but that felt tame in comparison to his past actions. All of a sudden, he starts making safe moves that make him appear weak. The Water Stars only make him even painfully more cowardly. His personality isn't much to go home about as well. Sure, he's suave and manipulating, but that's it. If neither of those things captive you, then you're out of luck.
10 times, huh? Funny, cause I can't remember a single moment that was mentioned. As for wanting revenge, what did he want revenge against? For being sent into Omega? For being opposed against? For the Ancestral Witches being locked up? It isn't made clear just what he wants revenge for, and if it was, it wasn't important enough to remember.
@@skloomforever i remember when icy first set him free from the omega, i forgot how the line goes, but i remember him saying that all that 17 years in omega, makes him think about who he's gonna payback to and how.
@@calliebirb5547 probably he wants revenge the most on griffin, because she left him to join the company of light, and also bloom because she's oritel and marion's? maybe, idk
What's nice about the Fairies of Vengeance is that, especially the major fairies, you see fairies as women instead of teenagers. World of Winx is an exception to the rule.
I mean the Earth fairies are centuries old, especially Syllaba because she’s the ONLY Earth fairy who wasn’t flat out determined to murder the Wizards, actually maybe believing they could change, which is weird why she wasn’t at the Day of Justice, making her role kinda pointless because its the queen who gets the final say in their fate.
@@sweetener1427 yes of course! But if she is evil she won’t contain her powers and won’t care if she destroys everything... That’s why the evil are cheaters😒😂
Oh yes, Lord Darkar is truly underrated. Remember, he is probably the cause of all the events from season 1 to season 3. All of that, but everyone ignores this. He dosent have much presence, but still have much influence. Every time i saw him as a kid, he send a chill down my back.
Despite him being underused and not living up to his potential Darkar is still my guy. His phoenix form was awesome. Too bad he was in a series like Winx. Unicron for example is a Darkar type of character done right.
1- Shadow Phoenix (bcz he's so freaky and I love his concept overall. And let's not forget the iconic Dark Bloom) 2- Valtor (Very charismatic. I love the chemistry between him and Bloom. Also I love his final form and battle against the Winx) 3- Trix (I love them bcz of nostalgia. Also they are Iconic and over the top evil characters. They look like the mean girls of my high school.
@Wong Vanessa They said she would be the 7th winx and we all knew that wouldn’t happen. Roxy is younger than them, had no experience whatsoever with magic and wouldn’t be ready to fight anyone. She is better as a side character instead because of how little she can really do. They should’ve made like a spin off where it’s Roxy and her pov
@@radwahussein669 bloom started all her club when she was 15 (the same age with roxy) tho. It just doesn't work that way for roxy becuz it's her virtue being the youngest member ever step in winx and her presence is really new and foreign to their club tho. (daphne is the oldest tho. Somewhere around 7 until nearly 3 decades old difference to bloom. There are like two episodes show daphne as a kid and adult stand/carry baby bloom which are confusing. I'd better check this further more if there's time) She frost as a spirit energy under the curse of sirenix, which had granted her long lasting status) Bloom was 18 (her mother said that) in believix series
There is literally a giant fandom of Winx Club in Turkey. We used to buy all kind of merchadises like backpacks, stickers, bottles, dolls and etc. Even my old friends from high school still loves the scenario before S7.
@@katiestevenson7742 3 was definitely the best transformation season and 4 had a big opportunity to be big with the whole roxy introduction. while 4 did let me down a little, i still count it as part of the golden age because it was still dubbed by cinelume. season 5 was decent and i thought harmonix was unnecessary. season 6 was just crazy because there were a million different antagonists. season 7 just weirded me out cause i had no idea what was going on. season 8 deserves no praise at all. i liked nothing about it and it was too confusing. also, they completed whitewashed every character, even the ones who were white to begin with! so yeah, that's my opinion.
There are more than 3 seasons? I'm pretty sure Winx has 3 seasons and a movie. That much. Only that much. I just like to pretend that the later seasons didn't happen.
Valtor and the Trix were probably the only Winx villains I actually found intimidating, maybe cause I like four, but still. The Wizards of the Black Circle too, but I was a little bit older when I watched season 4, so they didn’t scare me as much.
Let’s not forget that when Bloom believed that Valtor was responsible for Tecna dying, she decided to ignore Enchantix rules and get them on her own terms. That makes him even better.
Yeah. Now imagine what if Valtor indeed killed Tecna, it would elevate him even more. And maybe the series wouldn't change if Tecna is gone, cause she didn't served in the plot in the other seasons.
@@alexoalexo1345 blame the creators for that. But it would be interesting if Valtor did the following: Taking Aisha’s sight (I mean literally taking it like how in season 6 they took Musa’s voice). That would greatly impact her because of her fear of the dark and no amount of Fairy dust could fix it. Use King Radius to kill Stella’s mother. This would devastate Stella as it would completely shatter her personality. Burning Musa’s house in Melody, forever destroying all things tied to her mother (maybe her dad could be in the fire and ending up comatose) Kidnapping Flora’s sister and sending her to Oblivion or the Omega Dimension. (Honestly I dunno about this one) Using Diaspro and Sky to capture Bloom’s Earth Parents and trap them in prison. Techna’s case is already bad, but to add insult to injury while in the Omega Dimension she would have a broadcast of Zenith and witness her parents being turned into robots
@@JoshuaA1307 Ok, let's not be TOO DARK, but I think I can answer you on those ideas. Aisha's sight already happened on the series, and if you mean permanently, it would return eventually by magic. I don't think we are ready to see Radius killing his own ex-wife, and I don't think Stella needs to quits her joyful yet sassy character. I was thinking more of Valtor tricking Quimera to kill Stella's mother, and Valtor controlling Stella's mind to kill Quimera's mother? With none of them knowing it was Valtor's fault, both would become permanently archenemies. Now you mention it, yeah, I think that would make Musa have more hatred to Valtor and wishing to kill him. Being worried about her Dad's status, and that would prevent her to have problems with Riven, cause Riven would quit everything to help Musa. I don't think Mielle (Flora's sister) deserves to be send to a dark place. I think it would be better if Valtor controlled the animals of Flora's planet and use them to burn all the plants. And sending some monsters to preventing Flora to stop it. Yeah, I think Valtor completely forgot about quitting Zennith's life, and would be impressive that before Tecna called Timmy, he appeared to her and make her see her world turning in her worst nightmare. We can all agree that Valtor always knew Tecna was alive, but was expecting to see if she escaped the Omega Dimension or not. Now talking about that and my idea, makes me remember something. I already asked this idea to a friend, and he told me he would try to write a What if... story where Tecna don't die, but doesn't escapes from the Omega Dimension till Season 6. He didn't told me more details about the progress, but told me that he thinks when this happens, Tecna would feel betrayed by the Winx. I personally prefer to hear others opinion. So if you have ideas on how the series would go if Tecna dies or just escapes late from the Omega Dimension, I'll be happy to hear it.
maybe im a sucker for seasons 1 & 2 but I love Darkar. His base/palace thing and his character design are amazing and his voice fits him very well. The trip of bloom, stella, ayesha, and the specialists going to the underground palace is such a good story with stella being sick because she's a light fairy but yknow maybe im just really nostalgic about the older seasons
Valtor has always been my favorite. He's charismatic and a skilled manipulator. In my opinion, he's the most memorable for everything he did with his own bare hands. He actually had me cheering him on sometimes in season 3!
I remember when I was younger, me and my childhood friend always joked about Valtor having a magical girl transformation but rather than actually transforming, he just steals a random girl's skirt and sings "VALTOR VALTOR VALTOR" while imitating the Winx's transformation and dancing a russian folk dance. Those were good times 😂
It's one thing to talk about a villain's concepts and execution, it seems more difficult to talk about them in context how how bad a season/movie was. Or if their screentime is being sucked up a different villain; particularly one that's already had a go, but is sticking around anyhow.
I agree with the list. Valtor is definitely #1 for me since he's the most compelling antagonist, with an interesting backstory that parallels Bloom's, hence the narrative foil. Also his looming and alluring visage adds to that. If I could change one thing about him though, it would be the expansion of his backstory with the Ancestral Witches, and his bitterness towards them, since he seems to want to be powerful in order to get away from their grasp. It would add more duality to his character.
I do agree with you 99% of all this. You made TONS of good points all throughout this video that all make sense that I wouldn’t have even thought of. But there is one thing I don’t really agree with. Your statement that Gantlos and Anagan don’t have personalities. Anagan seems to be someone who is a bit quiet but given the opportunity can be charismatic. His short hitting on Flora in some of the episodes, the way he smugly gets up close with Timmy and mocks him in one of the episodes. He just never seems to utilize this cuz he always lets Ogron do the talking. (I’ll admit I couldn’t think of a lot of examples off the top of my head but there are more) Gantlos on the other hand has a personality I can put a lot of examples to. First off, he’s clearly the angry one of the group, the one that’s most openly violent and destructive with the way he smashes things in his path. But something I noticed is whenever another wizard is in danger 90% of the time he’s the one that comes to the rescue. Saving Anagan from falling in the Omega dimension(Which cost him precious time trying to escape the fairies) and most notably saving Ogron from the train, which wasn’t easy for him and clearly put him under a lot of stress. He also seems to show the most care for the others. He carried Duman throughout the entirety of Sybilla’s realm (when he could have switched off with the other wizards) and when they were cornered in the warehouse by the winx and a Nebula possessed Roxy, he still warns Anagan not stress his powers to much. From what I’ve gathered, Gantlos seems to be a rather aggressive, violent person, but is the most over protective of anyone he’s close to. One last thing is that the wizards actually seem to all be pretty close and kind of care about each other. We never really see any animosity between them and none of them ever get angry with each other. Even when Gantlos lets Roxy escape and transform for the first time, Ogron is a bit annoyed but pretty much tells him it’s not his fault. I really like the idea of them actually caring for each other. It makes them much more interesting as villains. Monsters that want to rule and control the world by any means necessary but still have people they care about. It makes them slightly more human.
This! And honestly the Wizards' biggest strength is their group dynamic. They don't waste any time with dumb bickering like the Trix do. They are clearly well-attuned to each other.
Reading this reminded me how amazing actually The Wizzards are, they are like Male Trix but more smart, I wish they could return like Valtor and maybe be reformed somehow.
I've been rewatching season 2 and 3 and one question I have is how the hell is Faragonda still headmistress? In the beginning of s2, she sends Stella and Bloom (her students) on a dangerous mission without bothering to request permission from their parents- and as Stella appears to be Radius' only daughter and the future of Solaria's royal family, this is a pretty big offence. Of course, Saladin should also be blamed for sending Sky and Brandon. Faragonda's own reasoning for this is so that the teachers can protect Alfea- which basically translates to: I hid a part of the codex in this school and now I'm going to endanger all my students. Wtf? Griffin and Saladin are also to blame for letting Cloud Tower and Red Fountain be used to hide the codex. Faragonda intentionally endangers her students. There might be a reason for this, but one thing I'd really like to know is why the codex wasn't just destroyed. And this theme continues through season 3 as well. One argument is that most, if not all of them, are adults now, but once again, I can't see Stella, Sky, or Aisha's parents saying yes to these dangerous missions given the importance of their children to their respective planets. And even if we're looking at more on the ground members (Flora, Tecna, Musa, Riven, Timmy etc.) how would their parents feel if they were told their kid had died because Faragonda told them to stand up to a potentially dangerous villain? Honestly, Faragonda seems to me to be one of the worst teachers and mentors of any franchise I've invested my time into. She endangers students she's meant to protect, sends others on dangerous missions, keeps things hidden from those same students who are literally risking their lives and who could actually use the information, and rarely bothers to help them unless it's demanded of her.
All of that. I also love how everyone forgot that Griffin actively sent the Trix out to fuck with the winx and the boys. Literally instructing them to break bones in needed (in one of the dubs). And it is fucked no matter how you look at it. if we're going the more serious route, then Griffin literally sent out her students to hurt other students. If we're going less serious, that old ass nana is all up in business of teenagers. Creepy. Oh, and what about Faragonda taking their powers as a punishment? That's violating af.
I always found it interesting how Darkar went after them at their school, where they'd expect to be safe, by replacing a professor. They really liked and trusted the fake Avalon too. It's kind of a genius plan. Most people wouldn't expect it. Even if it happened in Harry Potter, the series borrows a lot from that anyway.
I’d like to question the terrestrial fairies. Technically speaking, they were only imprisoned for 16 years as the attack from the wizards occurred just after Roxy was born.
Season 9: The Vengeance of Roxy - Roxy gets her vengeance for being treated like poop since season 5 and not getting her butterflix powers. She uses an army of animals to defeat winx. Unicorn of War: stonks 📈📈📈
I pretty much agree with your ranking, I think I like Ogron and the Wizards more though. Anyway I agree that everything is too Bloom-centric, and I always wondered how the story would have been without this aspect (and maybe with Bloom being more characterized). This said, I would love to see a character analysis made by you 💕
A traitor from Alfea has released Darcy and Stormy from the underworld prison; hoping to replace their leader Icy. She thought, that they would stay loyal to her, since she saved them from forever lasting torture; but ,oh, was she wrong. Darcy and Stormy quickly got tired of the Alfea-girl’s stupid tries of controlling them, when they all knew, that no one could ever compare to Icy. They needed their sister back if they wanted to rule the world. That, they were certain of. They locked the girl in a cell, which was located where no one would ever find her, and were quick to release Icy. The Trix were now reunited, and danger was heading straight for the fairies. As Darcy and Stormy figured, Icy was already making plans. She had big plans, which mostly wrapped around the topic: Revenge. But Icy had also changed. She was darker, more evil. She was broken; her thirst for blood was consuming her senses. Her plans were too extreme, to the point that they were insane. Even Darcy and Stormy didn’t agree to this madness; it was too much. This made Icy rage and spit them hateful words. Icy was clearly broken. Darcy and Stormy realized, that it would never be the same like in the old days. They knew that Icy would soon turn completely mad and go against them. The power she wanted, was clearly only meant for her. It feared them so much; they saw true darkness, and didn’t like it. They had just been rejected children wanting power, who suddenly realized the true sacrifices of being able to take the world. Icy was ready for it, but they werent so sure anymore. They turned to Alfea, seeking help. Alfea was skeptical, but ended with trusting them. They were going kill Icy. They tricked Icy to meet them in the woods. Icy was filled with rage when she found out their intentions, and was much too powerful for them, eyes gleaming white and frost wrapped from her arms to her body. Her sisters were trying to end her life, trying to stop her; she was out of her emotions, the abselute hatred for her sisters now filling her senses. Icy soon had them at their knees, ready to slice them with an deadly sharp ice rain, when a burst of fire suddenly erupted from the trees, knocking her magic out of her hands. Bloom. The only one, who could ever match her. Blooms eyes gleamed red. Hot fire swirling around her, as her red hair floated beautifully. Icy quickly repositioned, turning her attention to Bloom. Icy’s sharp ice, which could slice through stone, and Blooms gigantic fireballs which rumbled for the whole world to hear. This was a legendary battle. Darcy and Stormy had gotten up, and with Bloom, they defeated their sister. Their hearts shattered at her screams, when fire consumed her. Cowards and betrayers, she roared at them, as the flesh of her skin burned, and her ice forever melted. Word count: 507 -Mia
Darkar is my favorite villain. His character design is amazing, and what I really liked about him was his voice actor. As a kid, when I first saw this show I didn’t mind how bland the voice acting was, but now that I look back at it, Darkar and the teachers were kinda the only people I liked, because they made the show interesting to me. The voice actors in seasons 1 and 2 are what I liked about winx
9:48 'in Italia he's lot more intimidating' Process to show a clip with Aisha kicking him at the end 😂😂😂 but i think the best part is how it's cut just After the kick lmao
Valtor being the #1 villain and Enchantix being the best transformation basically adds up to Season 3 ultimately being the best season! It's absolutely my favorite for all the reasons you've mentioned.
I thought the same with flora and Diana they made flora look weaker and I've been saying that for the longest why is everything about bloom and I thought the same about the trix like they are sooo great they need their own show
Its so nice to hear someone who also grew up with the series go over so many aspects of it without being stuck viewing it through nostalgia glasses! I maaaaaay have binge watched your videos when I should have been sleeping the night before a surgery.....worth it
Lord Darkar is definetly my favorite, his design and presence are so cool and contrast deeply with the protagonists. He left quite an impression on me.

Ngl the amount of times I come back to your winx club videos is quite surprising to me, I think I’m watching this video here now for the 4th time and I’m still entertained. The transformation video I rewatched even more

So no i don't think than the dub it's the problem. 9:57 yes I confirm, I Always saw him as Dangerous as the others villans thanks to his voice even if his actions were kinda lame, in English he sounds like an 11 year old boy Imao. Also paper under Whater at 10:02 14:13 He Always scared me as a child, he also killed Many Pixes so there Is that...
Hey you should do a video on ranking your favorite magical powers of the winx and which one do you think is the best in combat my personal fav is Aishas powers and flora
Put Icy at #1 for me, or just the Trix in general. I enjoyed it more when they were the main threat instead of running errands for some Dark Lord... their relationship with Griffin and being ex-students was compelling. And damn they were crazyyyy.
The Fairies of Vengeance didn’t do anything wrong in hating the wizards. Their hatred of all humans is unjustifiable, but they have every right to want to kill their tormentors.
Loved these winx videos! Actually I was kinda shocked to find there was no review or video on world of winx. Not many people are fans of it but to be fair, even with the random spy shenanigans I was pleasantly surprised and ended up loving it! The villains specifically are amaziiing
About Lord Darkar: I think it would have been more amazing if the 4KIDS dub made profesor Avalon be that researcher that got corrupted and that is why the Shadow fire (Lord Darkar) was created, held Avalon in prison and made an evil clone of him to go to Alfea. The reason why Avalon is in Darkar's underground castle in the Cinelume dub has always been a little muddy for me.
Brafilius was bad as soon as you couldn't understand anything that he said in the English dub. I wish there was more to Acheron and Mandragora, both of whom I always forget exist whenever I think of Winx villains :(
Honestly I’d love a reboot of the show from the Trix’s view. More background info for them would be nice. I mean we don’t know much about Darcy or Stormy’s pasts.
I'm waiting for the day Roxy will gain self awareness and became the biggest Winx villain for how everyone treats her lmao

After this, I couldn’t but think of how epic Flora vs Diana would’ve been.
I think the only reason why bloom vs diana thing exist is because diana is the leader of the major nature fairies and bloom is leader of the winx. I mean I think that's the reason

Trix after season 3 are like team rocket
With the difference of being strong and powerful
Honestly icy carried them on the other hand the other girlies carried bloom
@Dark Angel I agree on everything but why did you consider them pathetic in S8? I think they did well in S8 and it's the first time that they end up happy and free

Pretty pathetic that Darkar, The Ancestresses, and Valtor got surpassed by a merman with power over garbage
especially because Darkar is supposed to be the Winx Club's Satan equivalent, and has a hand in everything for the first 3 seasons.
I don't think they got surpassed by Tritanus. It's just that he was a merman they needed a water transformation, since it was a new challenge for them to fight underwater it was harder in the beginning. There's no proof sirenix was more than enchantix.

Diaspro! Ariana's Grande herself's character
Or the time she blamed Disapro for her and Sky's trouble even thou she broke up Disapro and Sky
Or the fact that she takes credit for the finale victories in S1 and S2 even thou it was the other girls kicking ass while she was helpless
Because it had to be said. Bloom was always a flawed character whose protagonist duties is better done by Layla and Roxy.
Somebody in the comments said they should make Roxy and official Winx and have her replace Aisha. Girl NO, if anything, have her replace BLOOM💀
Can we just all agree that the third season of the show is the best. It has the most iconic transformation, the best villain and stakes are higher than ever (people are literally dying and get seriously damaged like every five episodes).
It's truly the emotional climax of the show
Golden age
Yes the best season everrr and loved how charismatic Stella was when she stopped that lady with her daughter from becoming her step mother and sister
And couldn't even beat him, only shut him in another dimensions

(That’s virtually all I have for Icy now.)
Both Darcy and Stormy were told that their parents were dead and that they were horrible criminals (as to explain why they were mistreated by everyone around them).
Sorry to ramble for so long.😅
Your writing alone is better than the whole group of people who produce winx
It would also explain why they act like friends at times vs sisters who have lived together (at least to me, you could chalk it up to the writing that switched hands over the seasons, but the Trix had moments where they acted like “friends” rather than sisters, like icy said they were in season 8, which I know was ret-conned, but still this theory holds up).
lifeishard Why thank you! That means a lot!😊

If neither of those things captive you, then you're out of luck.
valtor wanted revenge hun!
it was said more than 10 times in season 3

What's nice about the Fairies of Vengeance is that, especially the major fairies, you see fairies as women instead of teenagers. World of Winx is an exception to the rule.
I mean the Earth fairies are centuries old, especially Syllaba because she’s the ONLY Earth fairy who wasn’t flat out determined to murder the Wizards, actually maybe believing they could change, which is weird why she wasn’t at the Day of Justice, making her role kinda pointless because its the queen who gets the final say in their fate.

seasons 1-4 were the golden age. that’s facts right there lol
Hey I liked 5 and 6 but 7 and 8 not really
@@christinabaldosaro4691
In my opinion: -
Season 1 - 3 Gold.
Season 4 - 5 Sliver.
Season 6 - 7 - Bronze.
Season 8 - - - NO MEDAL.
Last time I was this early the Winx were 16
Wait a minute.....
ikr they’re supposed to be like 24💀💀💀
@dula peep actually they are 12 years old
@u bitches are my sons Every season is considered a year, so most of the winx are 24 while Stella is 25 (16+8=24)
wait a min-
Guys they get older no one talks about it though they are 24
Let’s not forget that when Bloom believed that Valtor was responsible for Tecna dying, she decided to ignore Enchantix rules and get them on her own terms.
But it would be interesting if Valtor did the following:
Taking Aisha’s sight (I mean literally taking it like how in season 6 they took Musa’s voice). That would greatly impact her because of her fear of the dark and no amount of Fairy dust could fix it.
Use King Radius to kill Stella’s mother. This would devastate Stella as it would completely shatter her personality.
Burning Musa’s house in Melody, forever destroying all things tied to her mother (maybe her dad could be in the fire and ending up comatose)
Kidnapping Flora’s sister and sending her to Oblivion or the Omega Dimension. (Honestly I dunno about this one)
Using Diaspro and Sky to capture Bloom’s Earth Parents and trap them in prison.
@@alexoalexo1345 do you have discord?
@@JoshuaA1307 No, I do not have. Sorry.
maybe im a sucker for seasons 1 & 2 but I love Darkar. His base/palace thing and his character design are amazing and his voice fits him very well. The trip of bloom, stella, ayesha, and the specialists going to the underground palace is such a good story with stella being sick because she's a light fairy but yknow maybe im just really nostalgic about the older seasons
Genuinely surprised riven isn't a villain yet.
so happy somebody with such great vocabulary is making these winx videos!! Can't wait for more! ❤️
Valtor has always been my favorite. He's charismatic and a skilled manipulator. In my opinion, he's the most memorable for everything he did with his own bare hands. He actually had me cheering him on sometimes in season 3!
yeah, fr
Titanus: Long speech about why he wants to rule the ocean
Aisha: Punches him in the face
seasons 5,6,7 had the best concepts from all seasons but the worst execution possible. facts are facts.
Yeah cuz i liked 5,6, maybe even 7 but i felt it could have been better
@@3rebella the trailer for season 6 was very epic... but the season itself was disappointing🤷♂️
No one notice when she showed the Italian version of Tritannus is said “*is kicked in Italian*” 😂😂😂😂
If Season 8 Valtor was a separate being than Season 3 Valtor, where would you place him in the ranking?
Albaa above kalshara and Brafilius
@@the_spoken_stallion Brafilius was cool actually. Kalshara was the villain I truly hated, same thing with Diasbro and Chimera
(I’ll admit I couldn’t think of a lot of examples off the top of my head but there are more)
Gantlos on the other hand has a personality I can put a lot of examples to.
@@roccovasquez3836 didn’t Duman die?
@@darkmoon8762 Ah yes I forget.

The best villains.
She's like Dumbledore then.... and also primarily a plot point rather than a character
Rank the top 5 episodes of each season
I’d like to question the terrestrial fairies. Technically speaking, they were only imprisoned for 16 years as the attack from the wizards occurred just after Roxy was born.
Season 9: The Vengeance of Roxy - Roxy gets her vengeance for being treated like poop since season 5 and not getting her butterflix powers. She uses an army of animals to defeat winx.
Unicorn of War: stonks 📈📈📈
Yes
They really did her dirty
HAHAHAH Yes kill the winx😂😂😂😂

Saaame. And I liked darkar because he geniuenly terrified me.

Am I the only one who comes back every year or so to watch Valtor again?

Can we talk about how cheesy each villain was? They were so hammy and interesting and threatening and fun.

Its so nice to hear someone who also grew up with the series go over so many aspects of it without being stuck viewing it through nostalgia glasses! I maaaaaay have binge watched your videos when I should have been sleeping the night before a surgery.....worth it
You should rank every Winx Club opening theme
Lord Darkar is definetly my favorite, his design and presence are so cool and contrast deeply with the protagonists. He left quite an impression on me.
to this day i still dont get how roxy has no butterflix, REVENGE ON THE MAGIC DIMENSION I SAY. i swear she will become evil, maybe thats why she never got the butterflix power even if she helped save the people
Ngl the amount of times I come back to your winx club videos is quite surprising to me, I think I’m watching this video here now for the 4th time and I’m still entertained. The transformation video I rewatched even more
Let’s also rank villains according to their power,
Top three would definitely be:

2. The Ancestral Witches
3. Valtor

The Fairies of Vengeance didn’t do anything wrong in hating the wizards. Their hatred of all humans is unjustifiable, but they have every right to want to kill their tormentors.
First three seasons of Winx are tye elite, change my mind🍵
Season 2 is my favourite and Lord Darkar is my absolute favourite villain! He’s so cruel and the season is so great I love it
#13 ACIERON. Imagine a new big bad that is so bad the Trix eclipse him instead of the other way around.
The Wizards of the Dark circle reminded me so much of the Trix due to the storyline in season 4 feeling similar to season 1.
