If we had to pick a guy to die at the end of season 4, it should've been Riven. Lets be honest, Riven sacrificing himself for Musa would've been a great end to his character arc considering what an asshole he has been since the first season. And it would avoid that terrible reunion between Musa and Riven in season 8. Plus, Musa would've lost 2 people she cared about. Imagine what that would do to her.
Season 2 finale already had a fake-out with Riven sacrificing himself for Musa and almost dying... or did he die and then Bloom revived him? Anyway, it was a fake-out death, and season 4 doing the same (after half a season worth of him arguing with Musa no less, just like in season 2) would have been rather predictable.
@@niewesoa5299 I have to agree with you, if riven died it would way too predictable, considering how much fake-out-deaths had happened to Riven. Plus, if Musa lost Riven, it would just make her dishearten maybe to the extent she wouldn’t want to fight along side the winx anymore. (Idk) And the reunion wasn’t all that terrible, it became better over the episodes.
The older seasons were so dark and that's why I loved them as a kid. I never finished the fourth one because it was for me so boring and make no sense with whole "we must convinced people on earth magic exist!", when in earlier seasons Winx almost were kiddnaped when they showed their magic on Earth. Also they forgot about their pixies for this magic animal plushies...
@@Shizuka171 Same, I'd like to hype myself up enough to watch it through because I'd like to know what happened to nabu but, the whole we'll force everyone to believe thing is cringy.
The fourth season starts weak but the mid/final acts are pretty decent and even touch a darker theme with Nabu's death. The turning point for me was season 5 which was abismally worse than the previous ones
Well I see it kind of different as my favourite season is the 4th one. Maybe the original story changes a tiny little bit in this season but it still totally makes sense, even if the magic the winx use can be seen as manipulating. But everything makes up for it like for example Roxy with her struggles, the plot that was made in such a great way or just the responsibility the winx have. The teenage fairy’s finally grow up and lern how to live in a civilization which for me is really great.
Jaylon M I agree. After S4 Sky became so boring to me. I loved Nabu and seeing his and Aisha's relationship grow from S2 was so adorable! (Nabu & Aisha and Helia & Flora were the most unproblematic and healthy relationship of the entire show) And having him just die in S4 made me so angry! Like having good PoC representation is so rare especially back then, so killing Nabu felt like such a slap in the face
I'm so happy that someone gave season 2 the praise it deserves. It's just the best paced and written and the character work for the Winx is everything! And god the finally being everyone except Bloom stepping up is just so great and reminds you that Winx has a great cast that just goes more and more underutilized as we move forward. What I wouldn't give for another character focused season of Winx Club
Yes, I think that Season 2 is the best season, on the other hand, newer seasons have better graphics and better character's moves. Every sason is likeable for different reasons.
Season 2 was my favorite because certain episodes had focus on one of the girls and each girl had their chance to shine, especially in the last few episodes
Season Three was the strongest season, yet the ending was so lackluster. Who knows if they struggled and just couldn’t find a fitting ending with it but regardless I would have preferred if they delayed the ending episodes if it had a strong ending instead of the current ending we have. So mad Valtor didn’t get the ending he deserved.
Right!? They defeated Valtor so easy and quick and he had so much power. They could have done so much with him! Imagine a season 1 style Magix invasion but this time it's Valtor taking over the whole magical dimention
The ending should be like Bloom absorbing Valtor since dragon flam and than he try’s to get out all the time and bloom fights to keep him down or something like that but she can only do that with the others like they had to get a piece of Valtor to so all will have a piece of dragon flame or something. But it’s not like bloomix like they’ll be just as powerful as they say Bloom is
It was so strange that he existed. I mean all of a sudden Sky has a cousin he never mentioned. Then there is the question „Where are his parents?“ They had a wedding and he was alone (well without Sky).
I remember back in 2013 I was so mad that Aisha wasn’t the one to defeat Tritannus. When you mentioned it in your video, I literally screamed “RIGHT?!” at my TV (no lie. You can ask my cat, lol). I guess my immense frustration of Aisha being robbed of that pivotal moment never left my soul lol 😂
Agreed. I feel as Aisha and Tritannus have a deeper connection since they are family, both from Andros, and are associated with water. It would've been more meaningful if her and Nereus defeated him because Nereus is also her cousin, and defeating him would symbolize bringing their family back together.
To be fair, I understand why he would chase Aisha. Tritannus hates his family first and foremost. Of course he would pick Aisha to be the last remaining tool to get the emperor's power, to further torture his entire family. Like, he mutated his father, mother sister and brother (yeah, Tressa and Nereus were un-cursed, but Tritannus still got revenge over them). He flooded Andros, which caused a lot of problems to Aisha's parents. All that's left for him to "tick all the boxes" is to torture Aisha too. The thought of being useless against him after what he did to her family must've demorolized her. Yeah, using Bloom's Sirenix would've been a more practically viable option for him than Aisha's, but it doesn't matter which Sirenix he absorbs as long as it activates the throne for him. So getting the emperor's power, while also torturing a family member seems to be like the right course of actions for him. I think it would've been better if Tritannus ATTEMPTED to grab Aisha, but Bloom jumped in his way and was grabbed instead. Than Tritannus says: "Are you so interested in taking your friend's role Bloom? Than who am I to stop you". Than he gives up on grabbing Aisha and takes Bloom to be his Sirenix vessel instead (since Bloom can accomplish the same thing for him). This would've given Aisha her chance to fight Tritannus. Again, just a suggestion, but I still understand why he would go specifically to grab Aisha and not any of the other Winx fairies.
That last scene in season 4, where they're all flying into the sunset, makes me cry so hard every time I watch it. For a second, we really thought that season 4 would be the last. Everything was wrapped up, a major character death for shock value, and a little ambitious plot seed in the form of Roxy beginning Alfea for those who might wish that the show would continue. I kinda do wish that the show really did end with the girls, who shaped so much of my childhood, flying over Gardenia and into the sunset. 😭❤
Not to mention the fact that they returned to their enchantix form, pointing out that believix was just a temporary transformation for their mission on earth and that enchantix will always reign supreme . I also wish it ended there or at least had a good continuation
yeah same 😭 like the colors, the enchantix comeback, the guitar and the whole aura... it's just perfect for the finale. i consider that scene the finale as well, everything from S5 feel kinda off.
Oof. I am starting to remember how overpowered bloom was at season 1. Then season 2 and beyond, she got nerfed to the ground lol. If she kept that kind of power in further seasons... Then will all know there won't really be any interesting things in those seasons lmao.
I would like to see a video about how you would redesign some of the failed executions of some transformations. For example Mythix. They could have totally designed their outfits based on fairytails. Bloom: Little Red Riding Hood Stella: Rapunzel Flora: Swan Princess Tecna: Snow White Musa: Pad Piper Of Hamelin Aisha: The Little Mermaid
That's a really cool idea! I would have loved that concept! Idk how disney would have reacted though, considering their winx/w.i.t.c.h beef and the disney princess franchise
Same lol!!!! Seasons 1, 2, and 4 are the best ones. Nothing compares to season 1 and 2 in terms of fight scenes. Season four gave us Earth fairies, and Roxie! Season 3 is ok, Valtor was an ok villain and Enchantix is stunningly beautiful. But I love Ivy’s character development in season 8.
In addition to your complaining about the 4th final: Wouldn’t it be incredibly if Brandon had died? Don’t get me wrong, he is a great character, but that’s kinda why. And imagine Stella being full of hate and betraying the Winx. Stella, the one that always laughs and annoys everyone. The one everyone fights with once in awhile and yet is loved by everyone just stopped smiling because the one she trusted to rule over her kingdom with is gone
i think nabu was the right choice tho. he and aisha were together the shortest true but you really felt their relationship, and the fact that his death comes heals on her happiest moment kicks you right in the guts. his death was the most shocking and having aisha instantly rage, i was completely behind her joining the fairies of vengeance and just kicking ass and taking names. i don't think i would have had the same reaction if one of the others had died instead.
I agree with you on Season 4. Watching it back now, Nabu didn't have to die. Honestly, one of my fav. specialists is Riven but I have to say storywise, Riven dying would make more sense than maybe Sky. We see in season 4 that, once again, Riven and Musa are fighting and just have a toxic relationship. But we also see that he fears losing her for good and so hopes to change. I feel like the second half of the season could be focused on Riven actually changing for good and not just in terms of his relationship with Musa but overall as a person. Think about it, no one would expect him to sacrifice his life for his friends And I know that sounds awful to have his character develop through literal DEATH but I feel like that would be better than having Musa x Riven toxicity drag out. It would also be interesting to see Musa go on the path of vengeance, especially considering how much her character has already lost.
Hey in gacha club I'm planning to make a winx series technically like winx but a bit different. I was wondering if I could use this. I will credit you and its completely alright if you say no.
I rememberer as a child I use to simp so dang hard for Valtor (did I speed his name right?) and I hated myself for it because he was a villain 😂 But seriously though, he is a great villain.
Girl same! He was literally one of my first crushes and I was such a simp for him! I even had lame fanfictions with him and stuff. Recently rewatched the show and I have to say I still find him hot lol He's the best winx villain in my opinion, I loved his backstory and attitude and his complex manipulating schemes
finally somebody speaks about the finales! I remember being so damn shocked and hyped about the finales and I found myself only rewatching these episodes as a kid. but bruhh the latest finales are so damn lame? like season 6 is a damn meme, they tease the villain the entire season and then put him in a box after 6 minutes? WHO APPROVED THIS?! the most epic fights are literally 1-4 (season 4 was kinda epic with nebula wanting to stay behind at the end) but every finale after that was so damn lame.. anyways, I love your videos so damn much because your vocabulary & sense of humor on top of the huge nostalgia make me extremely happy! keep up the good work!
Honestly Roxy or Layla would make a better a protagonist then Bloom. Also apart of me wishes Mirta would be a main character. I think she could have a good Arc
Great vid but low key your idea for Sky to sacrifice himself and have Bloom join Nebula in season 4 is one of the best ideas I’ve ever heard how did you come up with this?! You are a genius!
I'm still bugged over the fact that The Trix had FAIRY animals...since they're witches, but ok, their fairy animals looked amazing though The Trix were GREAT villains from s1-s2 and that's it, since then they made them STUPID as hell, from being the most powerful witches trio in living days to some basic ass lvl 1 witches, I call shade 20:29 I MEAN COME ON, ICONIC!!!
I'm v happy that you brought up the host of issues that killing off Nabu presented in the season 4 finale. Not only does killing off the only Black male character send a horrible msg towards Black fans of the show (which, lemme give Rainbow their cookie for giving us compelling Black characters who aren't just there to fill a diversity quota), but it also feels cheap as hell. Not only is Nabu the newest male character to join the main cast, we also don't rly see the effect his death has on Aisha (or anyone, for that matter; one of the things i rly liked about this show is that the Winx and the Specialists were actually friends with one another) past the season 4 finale. Sure, we get some glimpses of Aisha being sad over Nabu in season 5, but it's not enough. Not to me, at least. Hear me out - Nabu was probably the first boy she ever loved (if she didn't have time for friends, she definitely didn't have time for boys), and that happiness was ripped away from her by some disgusting, unrepentant gremlins. The kind of anguish she displayed in the finale does not just go away. Especially with the way her thirst for revenge almost made her kill someone. It would have been justified, but that kind of shit changes you. It'd have been rly cool to see her come to terms with that as she grieved Nabu's death. But no, we get a couple of scenes of her looking forlorn in season 5 (episode 7 would've been a great place to them to have explored that with her seeing an illusion of him accusing her of letting him die) and by episode 10, the show basically drops any mention of him. But to take it a step further, the main reason I hate that it was Nabu who died is because watching the other Winx (all non-Black women) lecture Aisha on the right way to express her anger at the situation?! Tonedeaf af. And that isn't me saying she was right, btw. I'm 1000% happy they stopped her from killing Ogron. The implication of killing someone in a fit of anger would haunt someone (especially someone with as strong of a moral center as Aisha), but actually doing it?! That would've broken her. So I'm not saying they should've let her do it. I just rly don't like how it's the Black character who almost loses herself in her pursuit of vengeance, and I especially do not like how it's the white ones who are juxtaposed as the level headed ones. The scornful Black women character is just too prevalent in media for me to be comfortable with that. Especially since this is a kid's show. (If you don't understand why I'm making a big deal out of this, pls look up Black women talking about the "angry Black women" trope, and the way it negatively affects Black women. In fact, I'mma do y'all a solid and start y'all off - it creates an environment where Black women are seen are hot headed and irrational, which results in our anger being trivialized and point blank invalidated in some situations. Our emotions aren't taken seriously, because most people just assume that we are angry, hateful bitches who are actively looking for reasons to be sustain that anger.)
I'mma go ahead and add this addendum, and say that I also rly do not like season 2. The girls either feel extremely out of character, or the way their story arcs are resolved is wonky as hell. For example, Tecna wanting Timmy to step up more. Sounds reasonable. But sis rly expected Timothy to do something about the Trix (who had just whooped the Winx's asses, thanks to their Gloomix power ups) stealing the piece of the Codex out of Red Fountain. With his lil laser gun. Churl... And Musa's arc with her dad just feels empty af. He was wrong to come at her the way that she did for wanting to pursue music (Threatening to take your kid away from their friends *and* the one thing to keeps their connection with their mother alive?! Yeah, that's a one way ticket to Resentment Road.), but he drops all of that because she was able to use her power over music to beat Stormy. K. I love what season 2 sets out to do, because it isn't something that we see a lot in these types of shows. It's great to see Rainbow attempt to flesh out the other Winx and Specialists (whilst humanizing Bloom and Sky), but the execution is just... Bad^TM.
Soopo true. I really hope it wasn't rainbow's intention to do all these things but seriously.By season 7 its almost like Aisha has just forgotten about him.
Nabu was also a stand out from the rest of the bland hero guys. He was a poc wizard that got to know Aisha really well and really cared for her. To me, their relationship is one of the best written in the show. Why didn't they kill off Brandon? He's done nothing for the show except act as a decoy for Sky and be Stella's boyfriend. Riven during Season 4 was extremely unlikable more than he ever was. Any sense of the character development he got during prior seasons was erased and I honestly wouldn't want him or Musa to be in a relationship together. Heck, Timmy could have sacrificed his life as a homage to when Tecna did the same thing in Season 3. TLDR: Nabu was a poor choice for them to kill off and they should have done it with one of the more expendable heroes.
@@3rebella And to add insult to injury, she picked Nex over Roy as her new boy. You rly want me to think that a girl like Aisha (who is No Scrubs, personified) would pick Nex over Roy?! Granted, Roy wasn't that great of a choice, either; he wad more bland than uncooked tofu. But girl, we got four white boys and an Asian dude (Helia is East Asian; you will not take that away from me) that are just as bland; I think it would've been fine.
@@averageanimefan519 I would've sacrificed Sky for the simple purpose of testing Bloom's morality. She was the main one preaching that vengeance isn't the answer (which, in this case it rly wasn't), so to have her boo killed by Ogron and his gang of merry assholes?! Yeah, I'd have loved to see her grapple with her emotions contradicting her moral code. Definitely would've given us some character development. I hear you with the Timmy sacrifice, though. I just don't want him to go, because his dynamic with Tecna is too cute.
The fricking infinity swan, I keep forgetting about it lol I couldn't agree more with your ranking and your points, literally I feel the same way about everything, especially what was lacking from the Season 5 finale!
@@CrystalSanchez094 I know, all I can do is hope And I'd love junko's voice for selena, because selena needs that crazy ass voice (if you never seem danganronpa you'd not know what I'm talking about)
Seasons 1-3 was the best!! Like the villains always attempted to get personal with the Winx but season 3 is the BEST!! The way they all got their own personalised villains to fight and how they also had to risk their own lives, face the loss of Tecna!!
I miss the older seasons, Winx Club was so cool in the beginning and also one of the few shows where other than being translated the media didn't try to censor most of the things since Dutch media did that a lot in the 2000. this show used to be so good! it really sucks that seasons 5-8 all kind of lost that amazing flare that made me love the show so much
I liked the season 2 finale, it felt anime like, a new kind of magic is introduced and the only thing that would have been interesting if dark bloom was burrowed deep within her and bloom doesn't know it,
Yess that would’ve been amazing, and she’s have flashes of being dark bloom and it haunting her or smth and she goes insane from it.Kinda like in legend of Korra when Korra still has the poison inside her and it takes a tol on her health. ( idk if u watched it)
I'm glad someone appreciates how good of a character Aisha is, ever since I was a kid and to this day she is my favorite character (I'm talking only seasons 2-4 cause after that they threw all her personality to trash)
I've never watched season 1 and 2 fully since I never watched all the episodes as a kid, I still loved it though, even though the 4kids dub was so bad lol. Nickelodeon got me into winx club(nostaliga reasons) when I got into my teen years. Recently in the past few days I decided to watch both seasons (RAI dub), at first I was so used to the nick dub that it was hard to adjust. But after watching both, I feel the first 2 seasons will always be my favorite plot wise. Season 3 is good, but nothing compares to those 2
Haven't watched past season 5 but I have to completely agree with you. I recently rewatched seasons 1-3 for nostalgia reasons and the season 1 finale is so good, especially for a kids show. I loved it so much as a child and I still do to this day! Season 2 finale was also great and I loved the writing and the depth it gave to all the characters. 3 is my favourite season overall but I have to say, compared to the last 2 seasons, the ending felt a little anticlimactic. The overall stories were great but I wish they led to a more exciting buildup at the end, kinda like what s1 did. It had so much potential with Valtor's now extremely increased power. They defeated him way too easily and as you said I wanted to see that s1 finale badass Bloom moment but enchantix version. Damn, with his power Valtor could have done so much more, instead of just raging at the trix last moment and turning into monster form. Imagine a season 1 style Magix invasion but this time it's Valtor taking over the whole magical dimention! The whole Valtor lying about bloom's parents being trapped inside him, I wish they kept it for longer and made Bloom realise the truth in the final episode. There could also have been a twist with her enchantix power being incomplete and much more. Saying that, not that s3 finale was bad, it was still interesting, but it had so much potential to be so much better
Imagine if Aiesha stayed blind (season 3) for the whole series and became a badass like Toph from AtLA and learned to use her power without her sight? That would have been so cool!
Here's my list: Bloom- Dragon Energy (reminds me of Goku's dragon fist). Stella- Light of Sirenix/Magic Rainbow (one is epic to look at and the other paralyzes foes). Tecna- Techno Shock (the girl deletes stuff out of existence, f*cking OP). Musa- Diapason (She plays a magical instrument to hit stuff). Aisha- 13th Seal (no explanation needed, you know it's badass). Flora- Ah... I... I honestly don't care about Flora's spells because they feel rather similar. Roxy- Animal language spell (talking Kiko still haunts me) Daphne- We didn't see much from her powers so whatever.
S2 was my favourite from the moment I saw it when I was growing up. When I was younger, I was watching the S2 finale almost on a daily basis, I just loved it. I agree and wish Dark Bloom just did more, but it was nice to see the other characters getting the time to really shine in wanting to rescue her.
the older finales of Winx Club really were great, especially the season 1 and 2 finale (I loved season 2 slightly more than 1(even though season 1 is my personal favourite)). Ah, the good old days (the season 5 finale was the only one of the newer finales that I tolerate because Bloom breaks the Sirenix curse and reunites with her sister. Plus the song at the end was pretty good). Edit: I find it quite ironic that you placed the season 2 finale at #2 and the season 1 finale at #1 (and I love it).
season 1 last episode bloom: real powerful and really good with her powers. every other season bloom: weak attacks never got that. She was meant to be the most powerful fairy and she so meh
What about flora and mirta in season 1???? They had so much chemistry and that scene where they touched eachothers hand with that sparkle ass background after flora broke mirtas curse, THEY SAID LESBIAN RIGHTS!
I already knew season 1's finale was going to be the top one based on the simple fact that when I clicked on this vid, it was the only one I remembered.
Imagine if S4 killed off Timmy Tecna has always struggled with connecting with people and if S4 showed that like other seasons it would be one of the people who has always been with her gone. Vengeance would be logical to her and it would be a slap in the face to all the people who said Timmy was the weakest.
Thank you so much for that trip on memory lane and explaining exactly why the earlier seasons of Winx Club are overall better written than their latest seasons :) To this day S1 to S3 (and to an extent S4 as well) have one thing in common: the winx had to face an actual threat, they had something to lose. S3 even awards the characters' and the audience's emotional roller-coaster with a gorgeous fairy form. S1 to S4 took the time to get to know the characters, build up the tension and let the girls face their emotional and physical nemesises in the finale. That's classical storytelling that is keeping on capturing audiences since the time of Aristoteles. I'm sorry, but everything past S4 basically lacks everything a good story is made of. Next to no character development, everything is handed on a silver platter and not a single emotional scene that could make the audience sympathise with the characters. And is it just me or is everything about Bloom nowadays? She's the main character, I get that. But it makes any other character (the girls, boys, mentors etc.) look useless. What's the use of a club when don't get the chance to know what had shaped them into the personalities they are today. There are so many things the writers could have done better. Re-introducing Evil Bloom, (or what about an evil winx club impersonating the "good club", destroying everything the girls had fought for and let others lose hope in the actual Winx Club?) adding the risk of losing their hard-earned fairy forms, adding a catch that a new fairy form is hard to control and makes them lose their sense of themselves if they keep on using the fairy form without the necessary caution and training. Every single one of those risks should make the girls think twice before facing the threat in the finale. I'm sorry that I'm ranting so much in the end. I'm just bothered by the fact that the potential of Winx Club got simply wasted after S4. Sure, the first seasons left big shoes to fill. But after S4 it simply felt as if the writers didn't want to bother with Winx Club anymore. That's all good and fine if they had simply said: "Hey, the Winx have reached their Enchantix, there is nothing more riskier than your own sacrifice for the sake of another person, Bloom has finally found her parents in the movie... let's end Winx Club and start with a new project". Seriously, a clean ending after S3 would have been better than the lackluster writing from S5 onwards...
Btw winx season 9 has been confirmed and there will be 52 episodes for the season also I like you're season 5 rewrite ending better then the actual ending season 5 had
Aiden Frost I hate being a downer and Mr. Negative but the way this series has gone since season 6 it should just end already. There’s nothing much for them to go off of anymore really.
Personally, when it comes to Season 4's finale I care more about what works from a storytelling standpoint, than pure representation. That said,I absolutely agree that Nabu was the weakest choice for a heroic sacrifice moment. Not only was he not around for as long as the original Specialists were,he was never developed as much as them in the time he had. Like,I can't remember anything about Nabu except that he was Aisha's love interest.(So his death didn't do anything for me) I also agree that the impact would've been stronger if one of the original four Specialists made the sacrifice. I do think that Sky would've been my choice though as it might've interesting to see how Bloom reacts. Being honest, she's the least interesting out of the Winx and something like this could've helped her character a lot. That,or actually focusing on the fact that she's artistically minded. Like, she had a bunch of drawings on her room and that never get's explored in any way.
So with the fairy animals..... has anybody seen the fairy pets since season 4? The fairy pets were an integral part of season 4, and suddenly the fairy animals exist and the pets have been forgotten
To me, season 2 is my best one. Because Bloom actually had to fight herself with a little help here and there. And Aisha, be honest you love Aisha. Charmix, yes that's it Charmix. Musa's whole episode. Flora overcoming her shyness. Stella. Trix into one. Bloom getting deeper into her parent story. Bloom and Sky growing apart but together at the same time. Knowing about the dark pheonix. Drakar, yes I love Darkar along with dark Bloom.
I stopped watching Winx Club at the end or midway part of season 4 and yes, two and three are probably the best seasons. Glad to know I missed nothing by not continuing with the series but this was a nice little trip down memory lane for me.
My favourite season is season 2 The character development and how all characters grew so much gained charmix (by overcoming their fears) Also how their friendship strengthens It cannot be compared to any season
Honestly, season two is my favorite season. It had the best pacing, gave more focus to the other characters, the villain was pretty intimidating and the finale was quite satisfying. I think that I like the season two finale more than season one's. Season one definitely had better fights and seeing Bloom defeat Icy was great. I just kind of loved how everyone was trying to save Bloom and especially Sky calling out to her. I'm a hopeless romantic, so Sky declaring his love for Bloom helping her to break out of that spell was quite touching. The buildup and intensity towards the season one finale is still really solid though. Not to mention the season one finale made me more interested in the series. I haven't really kept up with the series after season five, but I'd still want to give season one credit for making me eager to see more episodes. The terrible implications with Nabu's death are important too. I just remember not liking it because it felt like cheap drama to kill off a relatively new character because they couldn't have one of the girls actually get married. I don't think I could have seen them kill off any of the other Specialists, except for maybe Riven. It added more weight and stakes to the season, but the execution definitely left a lot to be desired.
I absolutely LOVE Valtor in season 3 but honestly the ending wasn’t the greatest but still amazing season 4... the black circle seems underpowered, and Nabu was literally amazing, and I hate how they made home die
Also, I love how whenever you make Winx Club ranking videos, your ranks for things and my ranks for the same things almost always line up exactly. It makes me happy that we think pretty similarly about Winx Club ❤️
Going on with season 4 finale if Sky did die then we could have seen dark Bloom make a comeback possibly. It would interesting to see that happened if Nabu wasn’t the one to die.
If I’ve said it once I’ve said it a million times. Nabu should not have died, it should have been Sky leading to Bloom turning into a fairy of vengeance. Aisha should have been the one to beat Tritanus. Season 6, 7, and 8 do not need to exist
In my opinion I dont think that bloom defeating tritanus was too far fetched bc a lot of people seem to forget that daphanie was indeed held captive and was a major part of them even gaining sirenix. We looked into daphanie's past when bloom went to that mysterious place and learned about that women who betrayed daphanie and got turned into a monster and daphanie was also cursed. The whole season was based on aisha and bloom. And bloon's power does have its weaknesses so I feel with something related to water aisha would indeed be best and superior. Especially since we've dealt with aisha and her crisis of figuring herself out and deciding what person she was in season 4 with nabu's death. Not to mention all of this leads to daphanie finally having a definitive form and not being restrained to her abilities
I always thought that people kinda glance over how great season 2 was. I love Charmix, I love how they seamslessly made Layla a core member of the cast, I love Dark Bloom and the build-up to her, I love how everyone got to shine (especially Stella in the finale when she was the only one to solve the anvient puzzle) and I just love the vibe
can't believe season 9's episodes will be 13 minutes long instead of 26... I mean this video prooves one thing: winx club is only getting worse, in a universe with so much potential, I just don't GET IT
I was expecting more from the season 3 finale. The fact that they just left it at a mini cliff hanger about bloom wanting to meet her parents enrages me. We needed a party/ celebration to balance out all of the hectic and craziness that happened. Season 3 deserved a better finale because it marks the end of an era and the last good season of winx club.
You probably didn't realize that Icy's backstory reveal was ridiculous. I don't think it's fitting for Icy to have a tragic princess story like Bloom's. It means that she spends all of her life in the show we've watched, being mean and evil for the sake of being mean and evil (or something? In order to be a "stronger witch" if I recall). She wasted all her time doing evil deeds instead of finding a way to free her kingdom and family like Bloom did. HER "happy ending" was yet to be resolved and was delayed for a very long time. As if this was meant to be a top-secret until now, but it should've been told a long time ago. It just makes Icy look like a procrastinator and it makes no sense to her backstory.
Well I did know that they wanted to do the trix back story but wasn’t sure where to fit it in. Season 1-3 was bloom, 4 was Roxy, season 5 was Ashia, season 6 didn’t quite fit, Seven was jammed pack. However season 9 or movie #4 if confirmed will show the other trix backstory
The season 8 ending was the worst ending I’ve ever seen in Winx Club. I hate how they never told us about what happened to Roy. Well maybe they have I probably just didn’t see it in season 7 smh...
"I hate how they never told us about what happened to Roy. Well maybe they have I probably just didn’t see it in season 7 smh..." They didn't, I know for a fact. They just removed him from the show. He was never mentioned again.
Honestly, I think Nabu was sacrificed because he was the only one that had magic, like wizard type, out of all the specialists. It would've been really interesting if one of the other specialists tried picking up magic afterward, or even just while Nabu was with them. Like Riven for example could have learned under Nabu to have another edge over Sky and to strengthen their friendship.
An idea I had about the Season 3 finale actually came from Season 6, which is a take on Bloom sharing her dragon flame with her friends. In Season 3, the Winx fight Valtor in his monster form as they are but are somewhat equal. The other 5 give a nod to each other and do a convergence spell to share their power with Bloom. They choose to do this as this is probably the only villain Bloom deserves to defeat on her own. This spell (which I’d call Company of Light) will de-transform the rest of the Winx and the Specialists will take care of them. Bloom would have a better fight against Valtor with 6 spells all which would be a fire variant of a spell to represent each of her friends. This fight would deplete Valtor’s energy and they engage in a stalemate power blast which for the most part remains even. The rest of the Winx and the specialists hold onto each other to push Bloom forward. This would allow to enter Valtor’s body like normal which would de-transform her but go the same as the actual finale. After Bloom returns, she has a moment with the rest of the Winx where she returns their powers and they quick transform and return to Alfea as normal.
I really like Believix and Sirenix. Sirenix is my all time favorite for many reasons. First, it one of the only two seasons I've watched. And it's really intriguing to me. Same for Believix but there were extra points given because I really liked the Sirenix transformations-
ok so what i’ve realized after re watching season 3 recently is that Valtor’s first death is basically a reference on how everyone besides bloom got their enchantix. Which i’ve never really looked into or noticed until right now.
Oh my god, you are sooo right about the season 4 finale. Every time the specialists got jealous and started bickering i wanted to jump out of my window. I hated Riven with a passion and Sky was really awful as well. I swear every moment Musa tolarated Riven's bullshit something died inside me. Timmy and Helia weren't jealous jerks but i wish they did something to stop these idiots from ruining their girlfriends mission. I swear if it wasn't for Aisha and Nabu i would have lost my damn mind... oh wait, Nabu dies. Yeah i guess Aisha and Nabu don't deserve a happy ending after being the only couple that had a healthy and happy relationship. Really good message to send kinds. Rainbow why?
And I really miss the exploration of cloud tower characters or seeing how the witches are and seeing how the boys are at red fountain and I’ve yet to see anything about Beta academy like they could have did so much with that😭😭like rival fairy schools, rival hero schools, we could have seen more about the wizard university

Icy vs. Bloom in season 1 was so awesome to see for the first time when I was a kid
Icy 😍
the battle at Bloom's house in Earth cracked me..and then when Stella came the way Kiko jumped at her and snuggled her was soo emotional!!!
Season 2 was my favorite!! not only did bloom went over to the dark side, we had a villain that was(to me anyway), freaking terrifying.
Fue la mejor
i completely agree!! also the characters were at their best
My favorite is Valtor.
Yeah right because Valtor was kinda hot af
@@roccovasquez3836 Valtor was very great. But have you seen the finale of season 2 ? Come on it kick ass ! 😂
@G-Taehyung Which one the one from S2,S4 or S7?
I agree
That is true i love your idea
The older seasons were so dark and that's why I loved them as a kid. I never finished the fourth one because it was for me so boring and make no sense with whole "we must convinced people on earth magic exist!", when in earlier seasons Winx almost were kiddnaped when they showed their magic on Earth.
Also they forgot about their pixies for this magic animal plushies...
@L. F. I heard that, but everything before it turned me off :(
@@Shizuka171 Same, I'd like to hype myself up enough to watch it through because I'd like to know what happened to nabu but, the whole we'll force everyone to believe thing is cringy.
My favorite season is the fifth one and for some reason season two got boring for me but I seriously need to watch it
I still can't bear the fact that they killed Nabu. Riven was right there.
RIGHT?! Out of all of them it would've been better if Riven died. I never liked his character, plus his and Musa's relationship was all kinds of toxic
En S I feel like going forward we would have needed nabu way more than sky
Jaylon M
I agree.
@@the_spoken_stallion like nabu was a freaking WIZARD. Legit all the other specialists were there as dead weight and love interests for the girls.

“I am the Infinity Swan...”
*Why does this sound like something you would hear someone murmur in their sleep?*
God dammit! Your comment made me laugh! 😯🤭😂
Imagine a season 1 style Magix invasion but this time it's Valtor taking over the whole magical dimention
that's why for taking it he came in season 8
The ending should be like Bloom absorbing Valtor since dragon flam and than he try’s to get out all the time and bloom fights to keep him down or something like that but she can only do that with the others like they had to get a piece of Valtor to so all will have a piece of dragon flame or something. But it’s not like bloomix like they’ll be just as powerful as they say Bloom is
Tbh, if they had made the season just 2 or 3 episodes longer, the issue with the finale could've been solved.
Bloom's voice actor ruined it for me, it was so anti-climactic and boring.
Yall i literally forgot that Thoren was a character that existed. So when he got mentioned my brain went "...Oakenshield?"
It was so strange that he existed. I mean all of a sudden Sky has a cousin he never mentioned. Then there is the question „Where are his parents?“ They had a wedding and he was alone (well without Sky).
Hope for Aisha huh?
Hope for Aisha No, I mean he. If you mean Daphne, then it doesn‘t make sense. Daphne had her sister and her parents
Hope for Aisha Hmm, where was the narrator in the comment mentioned?
Hope for Aisha no they were talking about thorn
Nabu dying and being forgotten next season (aside from a few references) will never not sting
Lauren ORourke Exactly! 👏👏
Let's not forget the fact that Daphne stole Bloom's unicorn in the most ironic way ever: a carriage horse.
I think that literally no one would care if Rai said "Okay, forget everything that has happened psat season 4, we're making a new season 5"
It won't happen because they are afraid to confuse people.
I so wish.😓
Dreams
That last scene in season 4, where they're all flying into the sunset, makes me cry so hard every time I watch it. For a second, we really thought that season 4 would be the last. Everything was wrapped up, a major character death for shock value, and a little ambitious plot seed in the form of Roxy beginning Alfea for those who might wish that the show would continue. I kinda do wish that the show really did end with the girls, who shaped so much of my childhood, flying over Gardenia and into the sunset. 😭❤
@@amandacorpuz6936 Ah yes, who could forget that? 😂

I think about the Stella part a lot for some reason.
I wanna cry just thinking about it
i think nabu was the right choice tho. he and aisha were together the shortest true but you really felt their relationship, and the fact that his death comes heals on her happiest moment kicks you right in the guts. his death was the most shocking and having aisha instantly rage, i was completely behind her joining the fairies of vengeance and just kicking ass and taking names. i don't think i would have had the same reaction if one of the others had died instead.

Bruh that would have hit hard but I would have been better than him just leaving for no reason at all.

20:29 I MEAN COME ON, ICONIC!!!
But girl, we got four white boys and an Asian dude (Helia is East Asian; you will not take that away from me) that are just as bland; I think it would've been fine.
@@averageanimefan519 I would've sacrificed Sky for the simple purpose of testing Bloom's morality. Yeah, I'd have loved to see her grapple with her emotions contradicting her moral code. Definitely would've given us some character development.

Season 3 is good, but nothing compares to those 2
I guses everyone have thier own choices
Season 3 is actually the best one yeah the ending was lacking but overall plott it's the best, it had all the character development of each character.
Is it just me or when bloom always fought icy Darcy and stormi by herself you just get so excited
The design of the Army of Decay, and that continuity of design throughout, is top notch. Even Games Workshop could take notes from it with Nurgle.
Saying that, not that s3 finale was bad, it was still interesting, but it had so much potential to be so much better
season 1 was the only season i could actually watch. also season 2 and 3 but i cant stop watching season 1, i never get tired of it
She is the best season so far
Imagine if Aiesha stayed blind (season 3) for the whole series and became a badass like Toph from AtLA and learned to use her power without her sight? That would have been so cool!
How do you like the idea of doing a “top spells for each winx” video?
Here's my list:
Bloom- Dragon Energy (reminds me of Goku's dragon fist).
Roxy- Animal language spell (talking Kiko still haunts me)
Daphne- We didn't see much from her powers so whatever.
Edit: I find it quite ironic that you placed the season 2 finale at #2 and the season 1 finale at #1 (and I love it).
season 1 last episode bloom: real powerful and really good with her powers.
every other season bloom: weak attacks
never got that. She was meant to be the most powerful fairy and she so meh
Is noone going to comment on the obvious gay couple that is Merta and Lucy!?!?!?
GUYS I"M SCREAMING
I thought they were sisters...
@@shireenrazak7160 They are friends
What about flora and mirta in season 1???? They had so much chemistry and that scene where they touched eachothers hand with that sparkle ass background after flora broke mirtas curse, THEY SAID LESBIAN RIGHTS!
@@winxwarrior9240 flora is a lesbian, u cant change my mind (coming from a lesbian)
I already knew season 1's finale was going to be the top one based on the simple fact that when I clicked on this vid, it was the only one I remembered.
😂😂exactly why didn't bloom just leave, it's not like she was trapped like the trix
Lol it's always a Bloom vs Aisha clash of representation here whoops Rainbow
Imagine if S4 killed off Timmy
Tecna has always struggled with connecting with people and if S4 showed that like other seasons it would be one of the people who has always been with her gone. Vengeance would be logical to her and it would be a slap in the face to all the people who said Timmy was the weakest.
Never got over the fact that they got rid of Riven and Nabu, who were the two best characters..
Thank you so much for that trip on memory lane and explaining exactly why the earlier seasons of Winx Club are overall better written than their latest seasons :)
To this day S1 to S3 (and to an extent S4 as well) have one thing in common: the winx had to face an actual threat, they had something to lose.
@@whisperfox iginio Straffi supposedly said he has plenty more ideas. I cant wait to see where the show goes despite having stopped watching it.
52 EPISODES. Jeez. That's gonna be one hell of a season.
_52 episodes._
Maybe it would go back to being for teens and preteens with mature themes
Im never watching season 8 bc i REFUSE to watch my favourite villain get screwed over by bad writing 😃
Athanasiaa and whitewashed characters
@@the_spoken_stallion and super bad animation omg
I won't watch it cause I'm scared of space
15:02 - no, Sky would never die. Plotwise Bloom would suddenly regain all of her healing powers to save him, flipping off the gift of destiny XD
Your voice is so soothing...
(Thanks for adding CC to your videos!)
Infinity Swan: I am the Infinity Swa-
Thanos: MINE! (tackles the Swan before he makes it fly off into the sunset with him)
Tbh I find your videos about Winx Club more interesting than the show itself lol
I stopped watching Winx Club at the end or midway part of season 4 and yes, two and three are probably the best seasons. Glad to know I missed nothing by not continuing with the series but this was a nice little trip down memory lane for me.
Season 1 to 4 are the only good Season then it just went..down, i mean it's not THAT bad but its not the same when u used to watch since season 1
My favourite season is season 2
The character development and how all characters grew so much gained charmix (by overcoming their fears)
Also how their friendship strengthens
It cannot be compared to any season
Season 3 is actually for me is the best.
I agree Season 2 is the best
im in complete agreement with this ranking, when i saw where you put season 3, i was like finally someone said it
I absolutely LOVE Valtor in season 3 but honestly the ending wasn’t the greatest but still amazing season 4... the black circle seems underpowered, and Nabu was literally amazing, and I hate how they made home die
I forgot how much I loved valtor. Ugh. Season 4 is forever my favorite. Mostly because I never saw 5 and onward.
can't believe season 9's episodes will be 13 minutes long instead of 26... I mean this video prooves one thing: winx club is only getting worse, in a universe with so much potential, I just don't GET IT
Enchantix is still the most supreme transformation of the winx girls.
True. Enchantix is supreme form.
Seasons 4-8 are alternate dimension.
Session 1,2,3 was the best, it had a story and it's wasn't just bloom it was all the girls
They turned her into a PG version of Virgil from May cry
Well I did know that they wanted to do the trix back story but wasn’t sure where to fit it in. Season 1-3 was bloom, 4 was Roxy, season 5 was Ashia, season 6 didn’t quite fit, Seven was jammed pack.
However season 9 or movie #4 if confirmed will show the other trix backstory
Bloom: Dragonfire + Fire + Healing + Volcano + Beasts + Darkness removal
Stella: Sun + Light + Astral + Moon + Reflection + Vision
Musa: Music + Sound + Instruments + Wind + Empathy + Speech
Tecna: Technology + Electric + Machines + Metal + Laser + Mindreading
Flora: Nature + Plants + Earth + Poison + Life + Construction
Layla: Morphix + Water + Plasma + Sea + Poseidon + Metamorphosis
MAYDAY MAYDAY!!! THERE'S GOING TO BE A SEASON 9 OF WINX!!
There are 52 episodes that are 13 minutes each like PopPixie.
WAIT REALLY??
@@teruyafine yep! It's official! Saw a video that said so.
Well it better be decent if not REALLY good since the target audience changed!
What I feel like everything would go by so fast
Horror stop to kill this show
I CANNOT STRESS HOW MUCH I LIVE FOR UR CONTENT I COULD LIVE FOR IT 24/7
The season 8 ending was the worst ending I’ve ever seen in Winx Club. I hate how they never told us about what happened to Roy. Well maybe they have I probably just didn’t see it in season 7 smh...
"I hate how they never told us about what happened to Roy. Well maybe they have I probably just didn’t see it in season 7 smh..."
They didn't, I know for a fact. They just removed him from the show. He was never mentioned again.
S8 itself was soo garbage
The Season 1 finale scared me so much as a kid, and I love it for that
Honestly, I think Nabu was sacrificed because he was the only one that had magic, like wizard type, out of all the specialists. It would've been really interesting if one of the other specialists tried picking up magic afterward, or even just while Nabu was with them. Like Riven for example could have learned under Nabu to have another edge over Sky and to strengthen their friendship.
SEASON 2 IS MY FAVORITE SEASON AND MY SISTER IS IN LOVE WITH IT TOO I AM GIVING OUR SHOW TO THE NEXT GENERATION
Tbh bloom got weaker by season like at season 1 she was SO STRONG
The battle between Bloom and Icy in season 1 was amazing!!! I love it!!!
And I really miss the exploration of cloud tower characters or seeing how the witches are and seeing how the boys are at red fountain and I’ve yet to see anything about Beta academy like they could have did so much with that😭😭like rival fairy schools, rival hero schools, we could have seen more about the wizard university
the pure adrenaline i got from watching bloom vs icy in season 1 for the first time is unmatched to this day
mickey g I still Can’t believe they made her weaker in all seasons after that. Especially after season 3
