Indeed, would've been better without it. But it's what KONAMI does nowadays: exerting full authority over its employees, musicians, designers, etc. They make sure that every piece of media belongs and is credited to the whole company, not just the one who made it. Thus "BEMANI Sound Team" is what the in-house artists call themselves instead of their own names/aliases.
