You tried to distinguish between two stage object detectors like R-CNN and single stage object detectors like YOLO at 9:50 saying the earlier is a machine learning technique and later one is of deep learning.
But both of them involve incorporating CNNs for the task of recognition. Thus both are deep learning techniques indeed.
