Hello Addy and Terry. We met a couple on our past cruise who kept telling us we have to sail on Celebrity. You both showcased this cruise beautifully. Our only hesitation has been how will this be for our two small kiddos. Did you guys notice if there was a decent amount of children onboard? The room and the decor was so nice and to see artwork that resembles us was so nice. Great vlog and look forward to more.🤎
They do have a kids club and do have kiddos onboard…just not very many in the times that we have sailed. Including one time that was a 7 day thanksgiving sailing.
Great presentation and tour. I date back with Celebrity since the 1990s and they've compromised the product. You now pay extra for food presentation and quality in numerous specialty restaurants that you used to get in the main dining rooms. The original specialty restaurants gave a more intimate and personalized service but that's been changed now to different types of food for a much higher cost. The whole decor on the Edge misses the mark for Celebrity style. It's always been contemporary and going toward tech and provocative art. But the connection to the best of the styles of previous eras reinterpreted in a modern space so it evoked those periods is pretty much gone in the Edge. There's also way fewer places to mingle, listen to music and dance inside the ship. The 48,000 ton Horizon had about 6 different interior spaces with dance floors so if you weren't in the mood for a type of music or vibe in one lounge, you'd go to another. Seems more choice to me. However, if you aren't into music and dancing and want a suite experience, the Edge has that. The Edge has Eden. Still, all in all, the extra-cost stuff I wish they didn't do. Virgin isn't my style but they kind of have the right idea in having what you pay extra for on Celebrity not cost extra. I just want to make a general comment that a lot of cruising folks think newer and bigger ships are the best ones to do. But I don't think that's the case for all new cruisers. If a line has continuity, then maybe they don't take away from some of the older classes. But the Edge ships do. Older ships had an observation lounge for forward views that doesn't exist on the Edge class. Also a library and card room and other small areas that don't exist on the Edge class. And some newer ships are just very big so you can get a nice ship from 2012 or 2004 or something like that. The newest isn't always your best choice.
I wholeheartedly agree! (Addy) and that is why i actually recommend to several of our clients and friends that some of the older celebrity ships are where it’s at. We actually fell in love with celebrity on the silhouette. We loved the observation lounge and the library. And one of our most memorable dinners was at the murano restaurant. We try to recommend a ship based on the cruiser not the latest and greatest or newest and biggest.
You all are truly first class in your videos and travel knowledge. Also the first video I have watched from creators who showed the extra space in the closet. Gotta love y'all. Love the Infinite Veranda cabin ❤
Terry thanks for demonstrating the bathroom test lol. The room is beautiful. I haven’t tried the infinite veranda yet, but I already feel like I’d prefer a traditional balcony. I love the idea of being outside on a balcony
Not the throne test?!! I won't touch you, but I feel you bruh!! Indeed, USB-C is a must now. You gotta slide Terry!! Slide!!! *Insert Put it in reverse Terry video here*
Great video. I appreciate the small important details. I am guessing that room cost about $320 a night. I love that stateroom. That balcony is everything.
🎉❤ Hello, this video popped up on here after pool PT this AM! ⌚ The whole thing and TERRY, You made it from beginning to end 🔚! All Good 💯 And OH WOW 🎉 The Last BAR!!! That's Pouring A Drink!🎉❤ Love
Wonderful review of your hotel & cruise suites. You 2 never miss with the quality of your vlogs. Mrs. Addys poor voice😅...Mr. Terry, you did great! Oh, my guess is $350 a night. Only because it's JW.
That was the silent party. The headphones have 3 stations that the DJ is playing music on and you get to pick the station you listen to. That is why they have 3 different colored lights (green, red, or blue). Usually a decades station (70s, 80s, and 90s hits), a current hits station, and a Latin/Raggae station.
Not a fan of infinite veranda. I’ve been on the Edge three times and the Beyond. I prefer the “regular “ type veranda but I love Celebrity for sure! We are booked on the Ascent for about a year from now. Woohoo!
@@AddyandTerry if you open the window, stateroom gets hot real quick and takes awhile to cool down. Regular balcony allows you to keep your room cool. Also, if one wakes up before the other, you”ll wake up your partner if you want to enjoy the balcony. Reg. Balcony, you can slip behind the curtain and enjoy balcony while they sleep.
Hi guys, Stanley and Lynette told me about your channel.
Welcome 🤗
Those bartenders 👍🏼.
Right?!

Looks just like the Beyond and a lot like the Apex. Sometimes the best thing about a new ship is that prices come down on the slightly older ones. 😂

That ship looks gorgeous
I totally agree about the USBc ports, can’t wait for cruise lines to catch on to the need for those. Enjoyed the video!
Glad you enjoyed! I think Terry will jump up and down when he sees those on a cruise.
I think the room is at least $400 a night. Love the video.
Nope not that much 😌
Great content. Bartenders were amazing. Room is very nice. Thanks for sharing.

Loved this video so much!! The pre-cruise resort looked amazing. Definitely will be putting it on the list for my cruises out of Port Miami!
Oh it was AWESOME
Wonderful. Addy lost her voice before y'all got on?😮
Yes, i lost it the week before on the MAS 2.0 cruise
Wonderful video! Great way to encapsulate the overall experience and vibe.
Glad you enjoyed it!
We are taking our 1st celebrity cruise in April. Thanks for the details! 🙏🏽
Hope you enjoy it!

❤ Hello To Y'all! I'm So Very For You 💗💗💗! Pole Sana Puddin, I'm loving All You are doing... Beautiful Mom!
I assumed at least $400/night when I saw JW Marriott
Nope. Too high
Team Replay. Think the room is $450/night
Nope. Way too much on you guess
@@AddyandTerry really??? How much ?

$350 plus per night
Nope, not that much
I need a hookup for both hotel and cruise ,I just did celebrity cruise my first time 10 days and it was AWESOME
🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
I want to try that cabin but I don’t think it will go well.
Why wouldn’t it go well??
@@AddyandTerry I like balconies but do not like to be hot. This would only work for me in cold weather places.
Should add the name of the ship in your title. Will get more searched views.
