My on and off pedal will not come back up when pushed on it sticks in down position have to pry it back up to shut off would that be the pedal switch

Mine only runs when hold the power switch down. As soon as I let it go it turns of. Any idea what cause that?

Two possible explanations- The the foot pedal # 110301 on the back is broken (easy replacement) or the power switch is malfunctioning- start with the foot switch- remove the scuff plate #111214- take the main body cover off and inspect the foot pedal. Check for cracks- if broken replace- if not broken then consider the power switch
