A life without Don Dokken would be a very boring place. I believe Don could live on Ramon now and be content....A true kick ass person
Don gives props to Van Halen for putting them on the map. Didn't know that. This shit is history being told by someone who was there. Great documentary.

I heard about the story of him working with the Scorpions during Blackout, I first Heard Blackout in 84, when i heard about that
in89-91 I couldnt picture don singing Blackout. (i know Background Vocals)

Self made man!!! I'm impressed Don!! Appreciate that you started out with humble means and worked your way to the top!!! I bet it helped to be able to fix cars as a backup. Interesting to know about your close association with the RATT boys!!! He comes across as real and down to earth. I like that!!! Very good interview here. funny how he badmouths Poison a little bit. Dokken was far more talented than the other "glam" bands.
don dokken went to germeny cause that i think that was befor dokken became solo beatles went to germeny cause at first beatles wrote thear first album please please me then beatles went on tour after germeny or before

Don actually had a brain fart. He said at 1:52 that Van Halen got signed in 1979, which everyone knows isn't true. They actually got signed in 1977 and Van Halen 1 was released in January or February of 1978. No biggie Don, but two years is a pretty big difference though.
