Thanks! I just started researching solar...they have finally come out with a kit in a box versus having to figure out the components separately which has deterred me in the past.
@@southernadirondackoutdoors I have a garage fridge right on the other side of that wall you see behind my sawmill. Just make sure you have both pop and wobbly pop... wobbly pop only after the sawing is done.
Find out what the wattage of the extender and camera are, and if possible, not max but actual usage. Then using that you can determine the watt hours of battery power needed to run from dawn to dusk (plus a few hours either side) and that will tell you the size of battery to buy. Next you will need a charge controller and solar panel to provide the charging to the battery and finally, an inverter just big enough to provide 120v power for the equipment. If you need help figuring it out, let me know! ;) Cheers!
Thanks Erik. I looking at Nature Power sold thru Home Depot. What is appealing is that it is everything in one box...except batteries and panel mounts. I have no idea if it's any good or not but we might give it a try.
Great job Paul
Thanks Paul, it was fun doing something a little different.
Very nice, excellent design !
When I first started thinking about this I pictured something like a directv dish, the small size of these is great.
now you actually have to go to the sawmill when you say you're going to the sawmill... we can all check in on you now. nice work
I hadn't thought of that 🤔...there may have to be a connection that goes out from time to time 😁
Pretty slick.. .. I could use something like that to get internet in my shop.. Although, I'd never get off TikTok so might not be such a good idea.
Thanks Paul. You have to keep up with your TikTok dances somehow, why not in the shop 🤣
That's pretty slick! Looking forward to the solar install :)

Good job guys.
Thanks Donnie!
Internet at the sawmill. Now all you need is a solar powered TV and you can watch sawing videos while you are umm sawing.
and a beverage fridge then not much sawing would get done 🤣

Seems like a nice product for those of us that live where cell service is non-existent.
Yes...unless you are trying to avoid calls! 🤣

No wobbly pop now...Mama be watching!!😅
🤣Only when I'm in my easy chair at the end of the day!
Live at the sawmill shed!
We'll have to experiment but maybe we can do a Saturday Live from there.
Sweet! If you have wifi out there, you can make calls, emails, watch TH-cam, etc...😂
Very true Dale...not much work would get done however 😆
@@southernadirondackoutdoors That's true....."peter" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@dereksstuff8395 Oops!, I must have been looking at the Hedgehoglodge-Dale comment when typing! 😁
