In this episode we prepare the pond to be fibreglassed by insulating it with Kingspan. All the blocks are now built up to height and the returns have all been installed. We have also installed the 4 inch gravity fed skimmer.

I would definitely slope bottom, I did put a 3 inch slope, only regret maybe not going 4 inch
Its already spanned out, I didn't bother 2 drains and they're airated and there will be some serious flow in the pond. I may live to regret it...

Its a 9KW Inverter type mate 2,200 gallons its rated for. Wifi model chills and heats. I am trying to convince the Mrs a nice grow on pond is required. If I am successful I will be keeping it ;) hahaha

I have a Cetus, it's on the bottom drain before a nexus, it removes so much muck before the water reaches the nexus, best advice is to get it plumb level to an mm as the water can run down the side to waste too much

I have a cetus before a bead filter does a great job

M8 sivies and k1 bead on skimmer works so well you never have fines in your pond what what I fit on all my ponds and over if I can

Dave if your needing a plumber to put your heat exchanger in, I’m based in chesterfield so not to far from you if you need some one
