After spending on my first mechanical keyboard which is the keychron tkl . I decided to really transition myself to a split ergo keyboard . I bought the RGBKB Sol 3 . It took me about with almost daily practice on monkeytype and other typing software . It got to a point that i jsut type faster than the normal staggered layer. Plus slowly theres more and more gaps between the keyboards

the only problem with ergo-mech keyboards is that there's no end game. I know if after I made my 5th keyboard ;) still coming back to old MS sculpt which is ergo but not mechanical. Next step is probably measuring my fingers and designing PCB by myself

How long did it take you to get back to normal typing speed? do you also use it for gaming?

Took about a couple of days. Probably towards a week as I was constantly changing around function layers to make it more comfortable.
Love using it for gaming!

Uhmmm..... Good for you IG. I have tried split keyboard for like 2 days and my typing speed just went down to zero so just stopped using it. I have to try again though, more and more people are recommending ergo split keyboards.

This is the Ergodox-ez keyboard. Mainly got it because it looked the most comfortable, easy to modify (layers etc), and hotswap switches.
I am looking at the Advantage 360 just because of the curve but that is mainly because I am addicted :))
