This is a masterpiece of an album! I loved the Silver Scream but this might top it, there's not a single second of this album that didn't have me hooked
This album legitimately has EVERYTHING INK could offer. Sugarman has been a fantastic addition and I literally can't pick a favorite track (would be between Farewell II Flesh and A Rash Decision).
For me personally, this is AOTY. For my taste, it tops even Erra and Trivium. The mix of theatre, horror references, musicianship and metalcore is just god tier. They did so many of my favourite films (and in Ash’s case tv shows as well) justice like Evil Dead, Candyman and My Bloody Valentine. I have no words for this album apart from WOW. Fuck I’m so glad they did a sequel and can’t wait to see where they go in the future 🤘

Dan Sugarman was an excellent addition to their lineup honestly. Ex-Mortis takes the cake for my fave song from them, just so damn groovy. Love the mix of heavy there and softness
to me: on “farewell 2 flesh”, the little solo/lead near the end sounds like the classic piece “flight of the bumblebees” which makes sense because the song is about Candyman, and bees are a big part of the story;)
I woke up and listened to this at 4:00am and Welcome To Horrorwood had me smiling the whole way through. It's such a perfect opener, it sets the tone for the theatrical experience and then lets you know, that if you had any doubts about this album not being heavy, you can firmly put those doubts to bed. It's unheard of for a band to be around this long, not sell out, become increasingly heavier, and gain more popularity from the merit of their work because they constantly top everything they've done in the past. As someone who absolutely loves INK, I was preparing myself to be slightly disappointed because sequels are rarely as good as the original. I was not prepared for this to become my AOTY.

Pretty solid album, not disappointed! It's hard to place it over the first silver scream but the fact it almost holds up to that or is fairly equal with some new flare is amazing. Overall I'm at like an 8-8.5/10 with the record. Your reactions nailed it man!
I was worried we weren't gonna get very heavy INK until last single. Now the album is out. I was wrong. Very wrong. AOTY contender and might get AOTY from me.
With corpsegrinder on the album i dont think you needed to worry tbh. I do miss the fact there are no ballads as they’re some of the highlights on ETITB and TSS 1
I was worried when Hip To Be Scared came out tbh. But when Assault came out and I saw Corpsegrinder and Ryan Kirby on some songs I felt like there is hope.

So much variety and so many great songs, this is album of the year for me. It doesn't matter though everyone has their own taste and Spiritbox and Slaughter to Prevail had amazing albums too.
Absolutely love this album, they crushed it. So fast paced with heavy breakdowns, great solos, and huuuuge choruses, especially in the last one. Hands down best INK album imo and definitely one of the top albums of the year for me.
Honestly this might take AOTY for. Absolutely amazing album, all the singles were great and non singles were all amazing. As a fan of horror movies, all the references made it x10 better. This is definitely better than Silver Scream 1, production, guitar work, bass everything. I also love the little movie clips you scattered throughout the video haha

I was in shock by how much they expanded on the first silver scream and couldn't be any happier! I've had a shit-eating grin the entire first listen and my face scrunched from all those FILTHY breakdowns. This is far and beyond what I was expecting. Also cannot wait to see them in December now that the album is out! :D

Awesome album! So much effort we're thrown into it. INK needs to make a musical. They're not just singers. They're artists. Definitely their best album so far. My personal favorite song is FAREWELL II FLESH. The best chorus and smashing beat with awesome vocal mix. I wish they INK will perform someday a collab with Rammstein the Wurst vacation :)

DUDE! You gotta react to the masterpiece that is Måsstaden under vatten by the swedes known as vildhjarta! This album has some of the most disgusting and unique sounding riffs I have ever heard in my entire lif!
My favorite is funeral derangement. However, the evil dead story is my favorite of all time. Bruce Campbell is the greatest human that ever lived. The best part of Ex-Mørtis is that it not only played into the campiness of that series, but (more importantly) it sounds like it could be the finale of Evil Dead: The Musical. That show is such a fun experience, and the first time I heard the song I envisioned exactly how it could be portrayed front to back. The marching of deadites from “the dead will rise from way below” and the deadites popping up from all the trap doors on stage to give the backing “wave goodbye.” It’s fucking perfect. Obviously Spencer is familiar with horror, and Evil Dead, but he must have drawn inspiration for the musical too, because it’s just so perfect. The songs in that show are great (especially “what the fuck was that”,) but it’s just so fucking perfect. As a grown ass man that collects figurines and merchandise depicting another grown ass man (Bruce Campbell the most legendary of grown ass men) that track couldn’t have made me more happy. It’s like nothing they’ve ever done, and I really think the band, Spencer especially, out did themselves. What a fucking banger this album is. I raved about the silver scream, but this album just truly outclassed that. Fucking obsessed. So cool to watch this come to fruition. I got poked fun at for liking them, I’ve always been all in, but seeing those same people blown away has been fantastic.
This is definitely an AOTY Contender! So much variety and just a crazy Evolution of the Band. BUT: For me personally, this cant conpare to Vildhjarta's Album, which has my AOTY so far (yeah i didnt forget about Spiritbox, Erra etc.).

I wasn't expecting this album to be that brutal but holy spaghetti I'm in love with it
Ricky A. does the 'higher' screams, Spencer does Spencer, lol, and Dan Sugarman does some NASTY lows.
You can clearly see everyone doing their part in the band every song was a banger and felt very special.
I dont know if you noticed, but the verses (including the intro) for the shower scene sounds very alike to emperors new clothes by panic

This year has offered a lot of awesome music. With this being a 10, Slaughters being a 10 and Lorna Shore still on the way it couldn't be better.
