Leave it to the Master of Eating to come up with a brilliant idea. I'm going to try freezing some kiwi fruits in the summer. I cut peeled bananas in two, put them on sticks and freeze them. They are rich and sooo good on a hot summer day. Better than ice cream for those who are lactose intolerant.

They both knew exactly how to use these lol! On hot Summer days I'll freeze bananas and kiwis, then blend them with some coconut milk. The frozen fruit makes the smoothie cold and thick. And can you believe some people actually eat the furry peel, too?! 🥝🥥🍌🍍🥭

I LOVE kiwis! I haven't had one in a long time. But I remember as a kid, my sister and I would cut them in half and eat them with a spoon. I didn't even mind eating them with the skin on. As a matter of fact... I'm thinking about going to the store and buying some kiwis right now!

We put kiwi in summer fruit salads and light custards, as well as in cocktails. Yummy. If sliced very thinly, you can leave the healthy skin on. :)

Fresh pineapple does that to me if I eat too much. It's because of the bromelain in the pineapple, good for digestion but too much eats away at the coating on the tongue, but I don't know why kiwi fruit does that.

Kiwi is really nice in a fruit salad along with strawberries and melon. You get a good variety of colors and complimentary flavors. Mint can be a nice embellishment.
Also, you're absolutely right about making a blended beverage with it. The beverage would have a light green color, and the small black seeds would be visible, so anyone can take one look at it and instantly know that there's kiwi in it.

Ripe kiwis are a bit soft. Just like peaches, plums, nectarines, apricots, etc they can be eaten less ripe for a firmer texture and sour taste.

They should try fondue, melted cheese and chocolate, you dip breads and fruits in them. Cheese ones are for appetizers before dinner, chocolate ones are for dessert after dinner. When I was a kid my step-mom would have fondue parties, everyone would smoke weed, get the munchies and fondue the night away.

I'm Russian, and obviously, kiwis don't grow here, but still they are imported in lange quantities so they are very common here, and I've had them since I was a kid, more or less frequently, and saw them being sold everywhere very frequently, so I'm quite used to this fruit. However, come to think about it, it looks and feels VERY weird, if you're not familliar with it. I mean, it's browh, soft, leathery and HAIRY on the outside, almost as if it's some sort of an alien egg, a mouse-like creature, or a severed testicle of a large animal or something. And as the guys have mentioned, when you slice it open, it's GREEN (also pretty unusual, since most fruits and vegetables that grow here are white, red, orange or sometimes yellow on the inside, and all the green is outside, and usually means that the fruit/vegetable is not ripe and not edible (and sometimes even toxic until it gets ripe and turns red or something). And then there are those small hard black seeds inside, that are crunchy when you start to chew it. It's also very weird, because in most fruits you don't eat the seeds and spit them out. And for the skin - yes, usually we peel them and throw the skin away, but sometimes we in my family ate the skins too (mostly for fun and to not throw any of the food away, since my family is quite poor). They are not too bad and perfectly edible, actually. Honestly, (at least, for me) apricot, and especially peach skin is way more awful to feel in your mouth thgan kiwi skin. It makes my skin crawl, haha.
So I guess you should rather give them the kiwis whole (uncut) to examine and give their opinion on it first (maybe not even tell them that it's a fruit first) and only then give them knives to cut it open themselves and taste it.

Kiwi is acidic. So you need to balance it out with something. It’s good to have a single fruit most days but more than that you’re going to have burnt tongues. Mostly grown in New Zealand and Australia as the soil is right for growing. Although kiwi trees are available for sale in the states. It’s just like growing citrus trees just with a bit more acidic soil.
