- In 2015, a bizarre vaporwave-inspired group by the name of Worldcorp would begin posting strange music videos to their TH-cam channel and website. While everything initially seemed ordinary, two of their videos would begin to stand out as much more insidious, and real, than the rest.

Making illegal content look like an ARG would be a genius way to hide in plain sight. The more people think it's fake the less likely it is that someone will report it to authorities.
Watching cp under the guise of being a vigilante investigator is pretty smart but disgusting at the same time. You can't investigate it and edit out the sick stuff at the same time though. It is a real grey area. The fbi investigators see this shit all the time and If they don't want to see the bad parts some it guy has to censor it.
My question is if this is real, why would they go through the trouble of even having an online presence? There doesn't even seem to be a motive other than just shock value and even with the internet investigating the channel, they don't go into hiding

Tbh, it's just a failed arg, it's not some pedo ring cult or some shit, maybe someone in their marketing team thought the fucked up CP video was creepy and then posted it without searching the origin of it. It's disappointing to see that this arg just became an internet "rAbBiT HoLe" just because someone fucked up the project.

Agreed; they probamly can't be reformed but therapy can help. The abused usually ends up becoming the abuser in this situation (based on various caught criminals who spoke up about being abused as children) and it's stomach churning.

They're not "fake", they're just not deep web child torture videos. They are real videos of an older brother teasing and tormenting his younger brother. It's mean but nothing like what it seems or what others have suggested.

I can tell you from personal experience that it never really goes away, you just have to learn to deal with it enough to function through your day. It's been almost 20 years since I got out of a bad situation, and I'm still working through things.

I KNEW that "shower" video from scare theater was a real recording of a pure evil, you could hear it in their voices and that childs beggings. it was one of the worst things ive ever seen/hear and it still makes me nauseous when i think about it. these monsters do this shit to children on a huge scale behind the back of the rest of the world and its heartbreaking.

It’s really killing me too, the innocence of children is the most pure, the fact that people actually take pleasure in destroying that innocence and getting psychological and physical pleasure from it reslly makes me hope that there’s a hell waiting for them. They are horrible. ScareTheater’s old video had the clip. Just a small portion of it. And it was too much. I can still hear the clip in my head and it’s disgusting.
I did watch it on Scaretheater video, I became nauseous during the rest of the day. I was destroyed. Thankfully I can't remember the screams, my mind erased it for the better.

The description of the video that SOG found was so harrowing to me, it wasn't even that graphic but with just the little information I have (the boy screaming and the whole bag on head and shorts thing), my mind started to wander and the entire idea of it made me fucking sick to my stomach, people who do that kind of thing deserve nothing but endless suffering, and the fact that we live in a world where it would be illegal for me to track them down, and mercilessly kill them is a great injustice to me, as they deserve nothing less than that.
As a father.... I legitimately wish i did not track down the videos... I beg anyone that comes across this video and comment to NOT listen to them... I've done it for you, it brought me to tears, and they are bone-chilling to say the least. Real or not, its f*cked up.

This comment should be pinned. These videos are mentally scarring. I didn't mean to hear them. I never knew about worldcorp. I never looked for them. I just got screwed and ended up hearing them in a video. To this day i wish i never had. I can still remember every single word from the child. I can still remember exactly what he sounded like. I hate it. It haunts me. As someone who doesn't cry often, it makes me lose my breath and tear up every time i think about it. This isn't something you go and look into because it is irresistable. This is what the cat was curious about when it was killed. If you hunt these videos down, you will learn your limits, and you will wish you had not. I keep imagining my own child screaming like that... it hurts so much... i hate it...

When you mentioned the "Fatherhood" videos I felt my heart fucking drop. I had the extreme misfortune of seeing/lustening to it. It was so gross and I hated every second of it. It made me feel immense sympathy for the poor boy and a deep hatred for the man, the screams were so visceral.

I wouldn't be surprised if Worldcorp was an ARG that fizzled out and the ARG creator just pulled random "creepy" videos, BUT when the news about the video's possible origins came to light, the creator decided to delete the ARG's online content in a scorched earth method.
That's my thought on this as well. They may have stumbled across it in an archive they thought was created for burgeoning artists and decided that it was just disturbing enough in the first couple of minutes to fit their lineup and added it to their videos. If that were me, I would be razing the entire site as well, why let that sit there and allow other people even more access to such terrible and disgusting material?
But on the other hand, as another commenter below mentions, it would be the perfect place to hide something like that if all the other videos are just innocuous enough to make someone consider that video to be a fake as well.

Oh god, I remember when Dreamer Heaven first started making its rounds online...I think it was being circulated as a shock video in Latin circles for some reason. Thank you for not playing the Worldcorp audio, too; I never wanna hear those screams again. I want to know more about those videos, but at the same time, I really don't want to.

The rabbit hole went even deeper. The dreamer heaven video was originally an obscure Spanish meme about a supossed video called "Dreamer Heaven Level 1 Rains Demise of a Reptile" and supposedly showed a reptile/humanoid hybrid creature, as well as refrences to the end of the world, that was posted to youtube minutes before the October 2018 website outage. There were videos floating around (some of which are still there) that had a thumbnail of a guy standing in front of the camera, too dark to make out his features, in what looks like a patio room. The videos were always misleading and usually bait-and-switch comedy based, and nobody could find the original with the lizard person. I found a few 4chan/reddit threads talking about this as well as some youtube videos, but no conclusive evidence the video even exists.
It's speculated that the video with the kid in the dark room from Worldcorp was uploaded with the dreamer heaven title as another one of these bait/switch videos and that's how the name stuck. The 2018 TH-cam outage is still believed to be done on purpose so nobody would see the reptile video. But like Worldcorp, that mystery has never been solved, either.

The way I see it it's possible that Worldcorp was simply an ARG gone wrong.
Perhaps they found the video of the kid, thought it was creepy, didn't research it's origins and decided it was a good idea to use it in their art thing not realising what they had was actually really fucked up.
I don't know, it just seems odd to make all these social medias accounts, a website and look for credit from other channels if you are doing something illegal.

Yeah, I don’t think this video properly sells the striking (and in my mind far likelier) story of some edgy cult-rap kids sourcing footage for their “dark, dystopian” ARG from a seedy corner of the internet they were probably thrilled to have found and only realizing once it was too late that they might’ve made their art out of something legitimately heinous. I can’t imagine what that must feel like, and I’m not sure I want to keep trying.
@@Champiness Well, I don't know about you but I would probably come out to publicily explain what happened and apologize for it. Though then again ARGs rarely break out of character and it would ruin any other work they would have done before hand. I'm not sure staying quiet is much better.

Before you try to find the video out of curiosity, I’m going to mention that people can, in fact, get traumatized through video. People watching videos of violent death begin fearing what caused it- for example, drowning or shooters, and can be affected for life. You have no idea what hearing the suffering of an abused child will do to your psyche unless you’ve already been made aware. I’ve experienced fairly mild trauma in the grand scheme of things, (even keeping in mind it was in real life) but I still constantly wish I could have the mind I did back before everything went wrong. I know you’re curious, but someday, you might see or experience something you’ll regret being present for- please try to delay that moment as long as humanly possible.

But basically like i said there's a kid in a shower you can't exactly see him since he's behind the glass shower door so you can only see his siloutte, outside the shower there's 2 men with flashlights yelling all kinds of shit at him, meanwhile the kid is screaming his fucking heart out and sounds absolutely terrified. This is basically the jist of the videos, like I said nothing is shown happening to the kid but the reason the videos got so much attention is because of the kids screams. He sounds so fucking terrified, it's heartbreaking. There's absolutely no way those screams aren't real.

It wouldn't surprise me if a clip like this popped up on the board and someone took it as fake or staged.

I've come across both videos on TH-cam, the screaming and the other one which is much more graphic. It's atrocious to even watch without sound and just think. You can see by the body language that it is, indeed, real.... The angst in the first video; the boy visibly shaking with terror in the second part. It hits me so deep in the gut and mind because of how empathetic I can be, yet not to even experience it; but I can just feel it, envision it... God, or whatever you believe in, even if it is just yourself, please save us all...

Learning about things like CP actually makes me feel like I want to die. Knowing that some of the most innocent, vulnerable people in the world are subjected to unimaginable horrors for some monster’s entertainment, and that no matter what anyone does it won’t be possible to save all the victims or prevent it from happening completely, just breaks me.
Unfortunately I found the entire video and audio. Not because I’m some sicko but I was genuinely intrigued. The poor kid in a boiling hot shower with some bloke banging on the plastic with what seemed a broomstick demanding to be called “daddy”…quite bizarre. It did stick with me for months afterwards. But what’s worse is other comments below the video stated that the one posted was not the full video. The ending to the full video showed the kid dead on the floor with a plastic bag wrapped around his head. Again, it might not be true but it was frightening.
