Welcome back - I've missed your videos. You were asking for ideas .. here is one: I have found that a CamVac can be a really good basis for dust collection. It can both provide a good vacuum and a high airflow. Also because of the possibilities to attach hoses to the exhaust, it can be placed in a noise reducing cabinet. For a small workshop like mine, it's nice to save the space needed for both a large dust collector and a shopvac. Looking forwards to next videos!
Everything in this video screams 'GENIUS!', like a fusion of John Heisz for cleverness and creativity, with My Mechanics for precision and attention to details. I don't know what to admire most: the 3D models of absolutely all the tools in the shop (including the guitars on the office wall LOL); how clean, neat and organized the space is; or the casual mention that a car will be parked in the center making me realizing that I was looking at... a garage floor, one more beautiful than many apartments where people live! Really, really impressive. I feel like I've managed to sneak peek inside the studio of Leonardo da Vinci.
Looks great! Definitely mount the air hose above your bench. I've also really enjoyed having electrical outlets there as well. And, if you remove the fixed cords of your power tools and replace them with sockets (like Festool tools), you can have a fixed vacuum hose/power cord above the bench, just long enough to reach around the whole bench surface. Just connect your shop vac to a fixed PVC pipe which runs up the wall and along the ceiling. Good luck!
You have an awesome workshop. I need to rearrange mine and you've given me some good ideas. I would definitely like to see the restoration of the bench. Thanks for sharing.
Remarkable project Sir, verry inspiring I think for manny of your followers. Congratiulations and thanks for uploading. I will certainly review this tour frequently and please forgive me if I'm copying a greater part of it. Best regards from Germany, Robert.
*Great Workshop Looks Amazing, I'm So Jealous of see all these stuff that you have. This is My Dream Workshop that I to Achieve but don't know when it will happen...* 🔥❤️👍🏻 *The SketchUp Design file looks great, with good editing!* 🌟 *I'm seeing a lot of New Stuff Incoming and I can't Wait to see it!!* 👍🏻
First of all, I'm Jealouse about your Space. everything on the spot and very clean. the Style of video is wonderfull just the right information on a perfect tone, very relaxed. congrats
This is absolutely fantastic 😮 I love that you build all your own tools as well 👏🏼 BLUE !!! Noooo 🤮 make some nice wooden fronts 🙏 that blue just doesn’t fit with all the lovely wood , just my opinion of course.
Simple as it may look, it's nearly impossible to find a drill press like yours in the States. I wouldn't replace it. As for a miter saw, you can't go wrong with the Bosch model. Dust collection for any miter saw will be a challenge (and a great opportunity for another video).
Guau!!! Hermoso lugar para poder realizar todo lo que quieras. Felicitaciones por montar este maravilloso lugar.Ya estaba preguntándome en qué andabas. Pregunta contestada
designs flexible tools for small home workshops that can be built on a tight budget, proceeds to aquire giant workshop that can accommodate industrial sized machines 🤣🤣🤣 congrats on the space!
I like the channel and the videos but I hate the clean shop. I;ll never have a nice shop, clean or without some sharp instrument beckoning me to cut myself on it so it can grow in my blood.

Would be interesting to also see how you manage storage, especially sheet-goods, like plywood. The so-called "left half" :)
Some great ideas there - thanks very much for sharing.
