This sounds like what Kraftwerk would've done if they'd made an original album in the style of The Mix.
Love all these sketches that keep turning up. It's like rifling through a painter's studio.
this tastes so good to listen to
mmm, yes. warm.
Pizza
its like a nice coffee
synesthesia
It also looks nice
the bassline at 1:08 is just so tasty
He makes the soundtrack of my world
the transitions in this one are HOT
dude will make anything sound like him
its called the cirklon
@@jayocaine2946 the sequencer doesn't change the composition or sound design though
@@satin360 It really does though, different sequencers have different menus which will influence how easy it is to do a thing, and therefore how likely you will be to do a thing. for instance some sequencers don't have ties, and that will drastically change your melodies and rhythmic choices compared to one that is very easy to do ties. Maybe some sequencers interfaces make it super easy to change the step length on the fly, or change the velocities easily which would then cause you to use them more often than you would on a sequencer where you have to do a lot of menu diving to get to said velocities. And then you have DAWs like ableton with a piano roll, this DRASTICALLY changes your sound, you'll reach for more chords more often as oppossed to a hardware step sequencer which COULD do the same things, but you'd be going against the grain with its workflow
Most people don't just hear complicated a pattern in their head and program it, no. That's not how electronic music has historically worked, no electronic music is usually created FROM the process. Like twiddling knobs etc.
The synth line that comes in at 2:28 is just 11/10.
its korg monologue, built-in preset
are you sure about that? i'm pretty sure that's just 4/4.
My absolute favourite
The bass sounds like a cleaning laser
not as good as intro from 22 to 35
Love the use of the MR16! First drum machine I fell in love with
The end bass line sounds like a cleaning laser moving up down left and right in a directional sonic dankness
This track has a Kraftwerk feel to it 💫💫💫
So unfair how everyone has to put effort into making music sound good but he does it with the same ease as turning on a faucet
He puts plenty of effort into it. He just does it more often than us.
@@faktablad I guess I was mostly referring to his insane output of projects, each one being unique from the other
@@MYNAMACHEF he said in an interview that he was making like 4 tracks a day or something, but that was back in the 90s. He owns a lot of synths (as seen on his syro gear list), which opens a lot of doors when it comes to music ideas and inspiration. What i'm trying to say here is that he makes a lot of music really often, but we just dont get to see them. Richard himself said in previous interviews that he was more than happy to keep tracks to himself.
This just makes me hate RDJ. This is probably just him pissing about and it sounds incredible.
Every Aphex Twin song ever
That basstone at 1:44 is the sexiest sound I have ever heard
Agreed! Oddly enough I discovered RDJ after listening to his Korg demos while looking for a synth to purchase.
@@gregliam To be honest, I'm kind of jealous. You have so much ahead of you. Just start from the beginning, go slow. Whatever style of electronics you like, there's likely something there for everyone. He's made so much at this point, there's almost certainly hours of your new favourite music buried in his discography.
Been listening to Richard since I was 13 (25 now), he has hundreds upon hundreds of masterpieces. This man is unstoppable!! Such an Inspiration to the music I write
OMG yes, rough!
🔥
Music to grace our lonely planet.
Thank You Richard
Begin sound like Kraftwerk's "Hall of Mirrors"
A bit of "Home Computer". too.
LOL I knew I heard that somewhere
Yep, Hall of Mirrors..
Made me think of reading rainbow intro
yeah, got Kraftwerk all over it
As usual our man is always fresh and not to flashy! And look at big old (Korg? )modulars ! I remember the smell when they warmed up! Great track! ✌🏻👽Christo
Nice touch with the side cutters. Perhaps he's having a bit of a rest after modding those Korg beasts. with his dog.
Thanks for upload 🙏
deleter boy

Perfecta para un nivel de un juego clásico de sonic
This bangs, dawgy.

This is new to me. That says something, to some degree.
Nice Timbres!
"..pair of pliers"

Dude this shit is no joke when ur high..jesus.
the entire korg tunings album is pretty gnarly when you're high. very visual experience if you ask me.

My blood cells when I brush my teeth with fluoride.
I have a minilogue to my left and a LARGE dog to my right, I'm like rihcard but cooler
Where do you got the picture from?
Drexciya/Kraftwerk
Lucas Lucas Yes definitely
mega
I'm not worthy...
...No one is worthy
@@formyself2964 Everyone is not worthy at all.
Rare Image
What about dog Peppi?
Korg is good
The most unsettling thing about R.D.James is when he wears a beard.
This really sounds like something he might have made ❤️
he did make it. it’s by afx
Shows you that it ain’t the gear!
Everyone is like "this part is Amazing", the whole track is 🙃
yyyyyyyep
what is pgm?
program change message. that's when you send a message from one device to another to change the program (ex: Cirklon or DAW to synth next preset on synth, next drum pattern)
What’s the origin of this pic
there is something so funny about this image
What are those? Looks kind of like a GRP A8.

Korg PS3300 x 3 :)
AFX TWIN FAST ASS FU8CK. HE gets TO the POINT. # WHY CANTKRAFTWERKDOTHAT
Kraftwerk sucks
No they don’t and u funny boi 😂 #imthefirst14yearold2Ckraftwerkinconcert #2016

"PGM changes and CC data"" :) afx modalities
This is the shit
I had cousins who lived in Lanner. Would have been same age as you, should u ever see this!! (Surnames; Martin..)🤪
Nice compressors in this
it's definitely a korgpressor
I'm having a hard time to hear those compressors you're talking about. Synth velocity and envelopes are perfectly controllable. Then the drum machine samples are by default always the same level so why use a compressor? Depending on the machines used, there's also probably amplitude envelopes too. So compressors on the reverb maybe? Or on the master? At least there's no sidechain. As you can guess, I'm a bit skeptical of your compression detection skills but I'm also curious and willing to bring my listening precision to a next level so don't hesitate to enlighten me.
OK , breath.....OMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM, now there you go. Probus.
Fart
+Farine there are definitely compressors...at least on the master. But you're right, envelopes can do many things
3x Korg PS3300???????
those are so rare....did he?
No those are KORG ps3100s
Look closely and you'll see the 4 sections of a Korg PS3300. This is what a Korg 3100 looks like www.vintagesynth.com/korg/ps3100.php
sold 1. now owning 2
@@richtusser he had 4 then sold 1
throw the dog in the mix! is this new?
It is new. It uses the Monolouge so it will have been made this year.
hey i dunno man
that dog is fake
That dog is sitting on like 500 dollar pillow lmao
thats totally a kraftwerk sample
totally isn't
like mozart but better
to me this sounds like someone who started making music 6 weeks ago.
Ok
will stick with kraftwerk thanks
You're welcome.
Bye bye, cheers mate 👍
You don't have to stick with anything if you listen with an open mind
setting up boundaries in music is bad.
Kraftwerk is boring aight
