You had the amp models slight wrong. The "British Crunch" is actually a Park 75... not a Marshall JCM. The "High Gain" is actually a Mesa Dual Rec... not a Triple Rec. This info is from a Line 6 employee I saw on another video.
Shame you couldn't run it in normal mode - I have the 1x12 combo DT25 and it sounds vastly more 'real' with the LVM switched off. In low volume it's effectively bypassing quite a lot of the tube circuitry so you're missing out on how it should be sounding. Very impressed with mine though!
Remind people this is not digital modeling . It’s fully analog tube amp. Right now I have a line 6 pod hd 500x which is wonderful,. It’s got a pre amp only which configured the dt50 preamp to sound like the amp you choose. Soon I’m going to the helix.
Thanks. For the sake of reviewing the amp, I think it would be better if you stuck with just the strat the whole time - so we can tell any difference in the sound is from the amp, not the different guitar.
+Arthur Roy Lol!~ man don't let this ruin it for you. I have this head and it is bad ass. especially when you hook it up through a hd 300 400 or 500 or 500x. you just need to find the other reviews that tell you the correct way to link it up with the hd pedals. or even just run it alone.
Over $1000. for a digital amp?? I know it has tubes in order to provide Christmas-tree-decoration satisfaction to lure the purists, but digital is for those who can't or won't spend the bux for an all-tube amp! This is like finding that the store-brand "Dr Pepper" costs the same as Dr Pepper...guess which one I'll buy.
You come across very well but you made the amp sound very, very bad. People who will trust their ears over your endorsement will look elsewhere. Fortunately, much better demos than this to be found easily enough. That said, anyone who does not know how to adjust their amp are well-served. This amp can sound like total crap if not properly set up, and that would be a waste of their good money. Better off with something cheaper.
i am seriously considering one of this, now... in 2017. And due to the lack of good demos in internet, I don't think I'll take the chance. This channel is super rubbishy. This guy sucks at everything-guitars. But as I said before. not enough demos for me to confirm my interest. And I dont plan to use it to anything else from Line6.
I put heavy duty removable pin style casters on both my DT 50s

Very nice sounding amp, what exactly is the digital side doing tho? I like the idea of line 6 having real valves.
apart from the reverb its all valve and capacitors, the chap demoing the amp really didnt know that much about it.
The British Crunch channel is not Marshall, it's modeled after a Park P75.
Would you say this puts out enough volume for small club gigs? Or is the DT50 a better choice for that?
@WattsUpShow It's a Fender Jazzmaster.

I am impressed with the reverb.
I did want one, don't anymore after watching this.

Why that guitar? Jeez...
Wow, this review needs to be redone with the correct speaker out and the low wattage turned off. Please!
As I said before he is plugged into the wrong ohms. That's why it sounds bad.
Triode on boogie will make it spongy and not good. Very much like your tone almost always
The modeling is a bit questionable. Regardless, there is lots to tweak to dial in your own sound.
Yea ur plugged in wrong ohm as someone else said.
makes me want to buy one:)

Poor guitar playing.
You think you can do better? You can't. Bye.

Have a dislike, bitch.
