I loved this event. Used to be one of my favorites. Still loved it after they started using the straps, but without the straps is even better. Got to have a test of hand strength in a strongman contest. Great to see this go strap free again. Really good call. Keep this event strap free.
32:19 - This mateusz dude always looks like he's about to snap, he's staring into that dudes soul. such an intimidating looking dude, kinda like fedor in Belator.
Notice how long Brian Shaw takes to prepare, while Jerry Pritchett just goes straight at it. I'm not critiquing Shaw, though, just sharing an observation.
yes he is and i think his cardio fitness is pretty low compared to others there..i seen him lifting very heavy dumbells ...but this guy really looks very unhealthy
Savatinov looks like he's going to explode. I know Mark Henry is a legend but for this sport to move forward they're going to have to get some legit professional commentators. Joe Rogan would probably be great.
The second dude did great, that fat guy looks he’s gonna have heart attack fall over die any second, the large American dude walked over his chalk, and then Russian guy had a nose bleed. Hahaha
@@MrDealeronrocks yeah but seriously google is free and it takes 5 seconds, anyone, literally ANYONE can google a name to see how it's pronounced, in 5 seconds, for free, with a phone, any time, anywhere

Dimitar "Please take me to the hospital I think I'm having a heart attack" Savatinov, didn't do as well as I thought he would on this event. How many heart attacks is that for ya Dimitar? That makes it an even baker's dozen Bob!
15:06 what's up with this guy? In every event he looks like he's about to have a heart attack just sitting in a chair. Either that or he's been constipated for months.
Rogue did not hire a good production team. This event wasn't produced with TV viewing in mind. You can tell this event is run primarily as a live, in-person event, and video broadcasting is a secondary thought. But even then, there appears not to be much capital available to put this event on. As live, in-person events go, it looks like a side-show at a convention. No bleachers, no private prepping/waiting area for each individual athlete, one single stage that all have to clutter on (setup crew/camera crew/commenters/referees/athletes/athletes' crew). Go watch the Stihl Timbersports event. It's like night and day. They are doing it right, with an event that's harder to market to the masses.
You're actually the funniest guy in the field, along with Mateeooss Ostrozooswki, Matjakks Ballshakk, Mateoos Keeliskooskoi, and Matoosee Octotowkowskie who are all the funniest and lightest guys in the field as well. Wait! What field are we talking about?
The guy in the blue shirt with the long beard lifted the logs at the start so the other people can examine the ramp. He seemed to lift it with ease. Does he compete?
Not only did the commentators not know how to say the athletes names they also know nothing about them except their deadlift Mateusz kieliszkowski has a weak grip and mark Henry said his grip is usually very strong
The Dimitar Guy Looks So unhealthy 😐. He struggling in almost every event, sweating like crazy all over the place smh lol. He gotta start changing up all that he's doing
i would expect better safety measures coming from the arnold classic. most these events are cobbled together and poorly planned. judges in the line of fire, evens that set contestants up for failure, no safeguards, rules that change mid-event. Just hire someone who know what they are doing and do something new.
crack smackback I know this was from a year ago, but he won the Arnold Classic in 2002. Some people hold that as the real strongest man since it is considered the heaviest show in the world despite it not being the wsm title.
Shivlakov seems like such a nice guy. Allways smiling and just happy to be there. Gives his best if he gets the weight up hes ecstatic if he cant hes happy he tried. Best luck to him and all the competitors. Moving weight I dream I one day can.
I like how the man on 15:32 tried moving the 900+ lbs timber with his knee.
He's actually able to move it but then remembered that he can't reveal his superpowers in front of that many people so he stopped.

Props to the Arnold for ditching straps on this. The weight may be less, but the show of strength is so much more impressive.
Loved that you lost the straps. Great call. Awesome event, great test of total strength, especially grip.

jerry king pritchett deserved every bit of this wow simply amazing , iam watching this at sunday and screaming neigbours wanna know whats up
Mark Henry is so ridiculous he’s hilarious. The abandoned sandwich at the end had me cracking up
'he's got a long history ahead of him' :D
lmao
His jokes are kind of silly, but he tries to make it entertaining. I enjoy him.

Marks perspective on the stone lifts are exactly why he’s perfect for hosting...we just need production to help things out
exactly 9.58 seconds... HE IS USAIN BOLT OF STRENGTH LOL
Tychus Findlay the Peace Activist that's what I was thinking lol
Just realized it amazing to see 8 different country's represented by 10 athletes. Thats awesome.
wildwilie most B list guys. Only approx 3 will make WSM this year 4 at most
The22jabes? What? 3-4 guys? I know for sure Hafthor, Shaw, and Kieliszkowski will be there. Do you really think only one other stand a chance?
@@DirtyPoul talking out his ass. They're all really impressive and 5 or 6 of them were at wsm or at least the qualifying heats. Maybe more.
Thanks for the scoreboard this time.

Zygaudas Bubliauskas He's always sitting in that same chair. He probably has some serious heart issues.
sure he will have one soon. looks so fucking unhealthy this guy.
He is very short compared to the other athletes. I dont think its healthy to weight that much, no matter the height.
yes he is and i think his cardio fitness is pretty low compared to others there..i seen him lifting very heavy dumbells ...but this guy really looks very unhealthy
Guy needs to lose weight fast otherwise some vein gonna pop in his head
Hands down commentators ruin these videos. Henry has been there done that. But doesn't translate to the mic
He also doesn’t know their names
After hours i picked this up no problem i should have been on this show
Please replace the commentators ... check out Danny an Colin for WSM UK!
The announcers literally say the Slavic names differently every. Single. Time.
Do you know how to say them?^^
I am genuinely curious !
They are horrible

Mark is hilarious lmao😂
Really amateurish presentation from a marquee event. So many errors.
Agreed. It seemed a lot more polished in previous years
whattaya expect? They didn't even pay the women weightlifters cause they so broke.
I Love that moment when Mark Henry tries to spell Mateusz Ostrzeszowski.
Ostazewski*
Do you think someone interviewed mark Henry and was like" this guy is gonna be perfect"
thanks for uploading these !
Had Mateusz just been able to finish going all the way up, he would’ve beat Jerry’s time.
Every time Dimitar was on screen, i was worried he was gonna faint.
Good lord please find better commentators!!
They should just take the two english gentlemen that comment the WSM.
Whatever mark is hilarious

Love mark to death but he's boring as hell and the other guy looks like a mattress salesman.
Mark Henry can’t even pronounce the competitor’s names properly. Surely he could have found out how to do that before the event.

Funny how the commentators thought there was 3 lightest men in the field

I should've done that because Mark's commentary Friday and definitely yesterday had me yelling to my computer "shut up!".
i'm very likely that's a record... haha english
That's not even English 😂
mark henry was 2002 arnold classic champion not the 2002 worlds strongest man which was Mariusz Pudzianowski
Thank God the announcers rehearsed and had their talking points memorized. Reading like a 10 year old off of paper would just be unprofessional.
This ramp is not meant for race competition the fact the weight keeps tilting and dragging across it when moving fast.
Love this event, so good!
Still impressed with the fact that Thor got 11 seconds even with a drop.
Shaw is SUCH a beast!!!
Hears a drill. Puts mic up to it.....Legendary status
Crazy how people are this strong man ....
So like 67 different athletes are the lightest in the competition
i wanna watch this on mute, thats how bad the commentary is
I mute youtube and play some nice music instead ^^
thank you! its embarassing
I actually did that right away.
Agreed. Can't stand it
