After our fun inside doing wheelies and doughnuts with this amazing piece of techno-toy-wizardry we took it outside for a spin. On even a narrow road it's a lot of fun. There is a trick to making it turn tightly. Slow down using the throttle stick and for even tighter turns use the function button on the top right of the controller to make the back wheel kick out and sliiiiiide.
It's important to try out the surface mode switch as well. We found even on this relatively smooth road that using the rough surface button worked best. The bike was less likely to fall over in a turn or fall over when doing a wheelie.
This bike is not FAST but considering the other tricks that it performs it would keep any small or BIG kid entertained for hours.

I'm glad you let us see that back tire! After the first episode I put a lot of thought into how that thing worked. Even if just a toy,True Technology in action! It would be nice if it would hold that front tire up when turned off it would look great on a desk and when nobody's paying attention have a lap or 2 around the desk! Well its not for the track but very good at what it is meant for good fun with the kid's or the one Big Kid! Good one Mr. Dom

Load of rubbish. Ducati should be ashamed to have their name to this rubbish. ½price now should give you an idea what a failure they have been. They spend far more time on their side than on 2wheels, far better RC bikes alot more stable. Shame on this reviewer.

Im wondering if the outter tyre edge is a bit hard and that is why it loses grip ! The big kid in me wants one ! 😁
Kinda. It's more the back wheel stepping out slightly I think but it does look good when it does it. Most of my slow turns were using the slide button.

Could benefit from some of those "arms" other RC street bikes have, to keep it from tipping over when performing those tight turns.

Fantastic RC Bike to do Stunt's for speed is it nothing the front weehl wobbeling why the Gyro hold the Bike Vertical stabel i ask me can this gyro take off. Thanks Dom The Wheely was fantastic. Thumb up.

No. Sorry. It's specific to that bike so probably only sold with it. That aside, this is a way old product now. Don't think it's sold anymore.

After so long it was worth the purchase or would you recommend another?
At the time it was clever and unique but I really don't think it would keep anyone entertained for more than an hour. It only works on large super smooth clean surfaces like a gym hall. Basically a no from me and not aware of a good alternative RC bike at same price.

I have this bike since one year.. now when I tried to use after a gap of 3 months.. the bike is not standing straight. The handle is shaking..
Can anyone have an idea to resolve this problem.
Clean it. Probably due to dirt in the little wheels.
I wonder how long that back wheel will last before it rubs away and needs replacing...

Nothing cracks me up! 😂 I have the Thunder Tiger brushless Ducati and the glow power Ducati no gyro and they are hard to drive it's fine if you have a big huge shopping mall parking lot or chasing a car down a road but damn is it fast. They've been discontinued close to 9 years ago I think but the struggle was real 🤠👍
If only it was a little faster though. Limited by that rear wheel because of the tricks it can perform. But it is at the toy end of the market so to be expected. We can't have 9 year olds playing with it and breaking the ankles of their parents can we ?! Cheers Dom (Essential RC)

I don-t understand why they didn't scale it better--the rear wheel is clearly too small! I think this would be fun for 5 minutes max and it's too expensive for that.
I would guess their were limitations with scale due to the complex back wheel mechanism. This is the toy/child end of the RC market anyway. It's unique and innovative and that's probably why the price is relatively high although think I've seen it drop recently. We had fun putting the video together and that took a few hours but I understand what you're saying. This is more for kids than it is adults who are already into RC.
The only part that's realistic (compared to the real thing), is the ludicrous price . . . 😝

@@ericzerkle5214 well thats funny cus ive got about 25 hobby grade bikes, brushless and nitro, tt's , Nf's, etc and this thing is good fun, not fast but can do constant drifts, long wheelies and can balance on its own, even the fast 400 quid hobby grade bikes cant do any of that 😄
