No need to apologize or defend yourself on just finding CC and watching women’s BB!! The whole world is saying the same thing…. No one watched the WNBA, me included…but that makes it even more exciting that we’re all enthralled with CC and given attention to the WNBA and her setting the women’s BB on fire!!!
Love your reactions and your authenticity!!! 🙌🫶🔥

Caitlin Clark after grabing a rebound with a team that knows how to run and fill lanes is basically unstoppable. She'll give them a lot of easy 2s. She's always on triple-double watch on her WNBA games because of that. 🤣 Props to her college coach to realise that strength quick and not just falling in love with her 3s.

Best compliment i can give Clark is; She has exceptional spatial awareness, and is a yard faster in her "head". Than any player i am yet to see.

Caitlin is as good a passer as I have ever seen regardless of gender. The girl whose name you kept hearing Hannah Stuelke became a starter last year. She is (I believe a Jr this year). So all the college passes you saw were just from last year. Before Hannah there was a girl playing as their big named Monika Czinano who was on such the same wavelength as Caitlin that even though she would very often score high teens or even 20s in term of points in the paint, the announcers would often talk about how Monika could make all those shots and score that much and only dribble 2 or 3 times in a game because of Caitlins ability to hit her in perfect stride or position to score off the pass. There were times at the beginning of this season where her teammates on the Fever either didn't get their hands up quick enough or even turn their heads quick enough, and were not catching her passes. When you add those times to all of the blown layups and bunnies that her team blew it probably cost Caitlin tons of assists. Even so she is right now well ahead of the pace to break the WNBA record for assists in a season. Also all those mishandled passes caused CC to get saddled with some high turnover numbers early on this season. Oh and one of the names you heard in the video you just reacted to Kate Martin, went to the draft to support CC who is her best friend, and Kate got drafted and is now playing for the Las Vegas Aces. She is not a starter but is loved and respected by her entire team. She is playing about 15 to 25 mins a game and has been a big boost for her team even starting a couple games when the Aces had a couple starters out with injuries. Do yourself a favor JB (and everyone else who loves REAL basketball) when you can, watch the womens teams from UConn and Iowa play this year. They play real BB and it can be beautiful to watch!!

Love the reaction, as usual. There's reasons why Clark's 3rd all-time in assists for college and now 2nd in the WNBA in assists as a rookie, and this video shows a bunch of the reasons why. And then you add in all of her scoring...
Consider that the two ahead of her in career college assists averaged 14.8 and 14.4 ppg, while Clark basically doubled their scoring output with 28.4. Clark's the only college player ever ranked in the top 50 in both points and assists - and she's the all-time scoring leader as you've found out. Due in large part to her scoring and passing, her Iowa teams led the nation in scoring in 2-3 of her 4 yrs there and was top 3-4 the other time(s), plus she led the nation in assists 3 times and was 2nd the other (her freshman yr).

Since women can't do the exciting above the rim plays, CC brings the excitement with her long range shooting and her ability to assist like no other player. She will eventually be the greatest point guard in the WNBA.
I'm from Central Iowa and been watching her from her high school days. Not only is she a great players, she is a wonderful and humble young woman. Listen to her post game interviews.

Watching Caitlin Clark and Monika Czinano run the pick and roll (Caitlin's junior year) is as instructive as watching Stockton and Malone run the pick and roll. She is a basketball savant, and her career is just getting started. On pace to break the rookie records for assists and assists per game. She's currently #11 all time for assists per game in a season in the WNBA, even including her early season rookie struggles. Everyone was bonkers about her 3 point shooting, but even long time followers and sports talking heads are just now waking up to how incredibly skilled and versatile a passer she is. I'd even posit that she's a better passer than scorer at this point in her career (she has perfected the stepback to the left and the drive to the right, but she is still working on the rest of her shot creation toolbox). She is the #1 scorer in college history, but she's also #3 in assists all time, mens or womens, more than Bobby Hurley or Chris Corchiani or Ed Cota or Sherman Douglas, ahead of Courtney Vandersloot, Sabrina Ionescu, Temeka Johnson, or any of the other legendary NCAA point guards. She's really something else.

Then came MJ, Malone, Drexler, Miller, Stockton, Hardaway. And Kobe.
I have to go back to those legends to find sheer greatness...and to see peers of Caitlin Clark.
For a 1.82m tall GIRL to be this talented, this effective, this electrifying, this blitzed, this attacked...

As soon as Clark gets the board all you gotta do is RUN to the rim. Just run and expect a pass. Always. If its a half court set you just gotta cut or spaced out in the corner and a pass will come.

    I’m @ 3:12
My heart went from Thursday to Friday 😂 ALREADY
Im sure u aren’t the only one who’s done this but this took WORK! THANK you SO MUCH! Her shooting skills get my adrenaline going but it’s her PASSING that got me. Im actually not a basketball fan & was definitely not a women’s basketball fan. Theyre so boring imo. I’ve never seen a WNBA clip that made me say “WWHHAAAAATT?” or 😮 “*HOW*?!” Or watch 15 minutes of highlights w my mouth open or my face making me look surprised confused & stunned the ENTIRE 15 minutes.
I predict this video will hit 1 million views in no time. Unless the W asks TH-cam to hide it lol. And that wouldn’t surprise me in the LEAST. They’re as awful as awful gets. It’s really sad that we will probably NEVER see Caitlin at her best as long as she’s in this league. They’re hamstringing her & it’s just criminal imo. I can’t even call her coach a snake bc snakes are smooth criminals & Sides wants the whole world to see that Caitlin is just another good player, nothing more. She makes sure to do everything she can to keep CC’s arms behind her back. She’s so jealous of Caitlin bc she broke scoring & 3 pt records in HS & college but didn’t have what it took to go pro. Plus she knows if she doesn’t play along her coaching career is over. The league is investing everything they got to make sure Angel & a few others get all the praise-hypin them up when we all have eyes. We see what’s goin on. It’s just sad they chose this route instead of supporting an actual CHAMPION. I’m gonna play this video to hype up my grandkids when they’re feeling low after a sports loss. The girls a #LEGEND & has a “dont give up”-“work harder” attitude. I feel the same way as u do just mesmerized. I’m sure it’ll wear off but I hope not any time soon! God bless you & thanks for the video!

I think her passing is even more impressive than her shooting. It shows the brilliance of her mind if you can notice how her penetration movement is deliberately baiting the person guarding her target teammate, or currently blocking her passing lane, to collapse on her to free up her teammate or the passing lane, and then she delivers the ball exactly where her teammate WILL be! Her brain and vision are just stunning. Early in her WNBA career she had many turnovers by stopping her dribbles and allowing double and triple teams to encircle her, or by her teammates not being used to catching her lightning fast passes. They are all much better now.

Now you know why CC22 fans are Iowa fans; we watch these games and we fell in love with Monika Czinano, Sydney Affolter and Hannah Stuelke for their ability to race down the court and latch on to a fast pass from Caitlin and dunk it; with Gabbie Marshall who would quietly hustle to the corner and then wait there for an unexpected pass and snipe a 3, and with Kate Marting for being everything, everywhere, all the time and scoring. Sometimes those Iowa women are running so fast CC22 has to pass like 6, 8 feet in front of where they are so that the can meet the ball at full speed and carry on to the bucket. It's a beautiful thing. If only Indiana's coach could capitalise on this ability instead of being mesmerised by the possibility of CC22 as a decoy.

I played a good bit of ball in my day and I never saw anyone CLOSE to what CC does on the floor when it comes to passing. It's SO much harder to actually pull off than what we see on TV. Yes, she will have a lot of TO's, just like literally every other elite passer who handles the ball as much as she does. Anyway, she's a treat to watch, and as much as her deep 3's are amazing, her passing is probably more scary. :)

  • @xoxKixShins
    @xoxKixShins หลายเดือนก่อน

Some of CC's no look passes bring my mind back to Jason Kidd when he played with the Suns. Teammates always had to have their heads in the game cuz he could look like he passing right and pass it left or center etc 😂 CC isn't a passing mood... she is a whole vibe ❤️‍🔥
Some of the hate for vets? They WISH they had her feeding them the ball 😂😂😂 if her team can keep up with the pace she will support their skillsets and they will be able to show how good they are....

    Exciting to watch.
She reminds me of the speed in the Showtimes Lakers--they way they pushed the ball up the court on fast breaks. But CC does it with a few dribbles and a single pass. Since joining the NBA, some of her passes have only gotten even more remarkable.
Also reminds me of Larry Bird. He had a very high court IQ. And he'd make passes that made me ask myself, "what did he just do." I see the same court IQ with CC. She's a very intelligent, strategic player. Very dramatic. But she makes it look easy.

I thought it would be fun to list some quotes from the commentators, so here they are:
"How CC saw that pass, I don’t know."
    "Great vision by CC."
"Every single game is sold out, and another dime for 22."
    "Oh, behind the back."
    "Oh, perfect timing."
"Oh, knows exactly where her teammate is going to be."
"How did that pass get through?"
"What a find, holy cow, right on cue."
"Leading Kate Martin to the basket, she doesn’t even have to break stride."
"And there are the eyes of CC."
"Oh, my, what a sweet pass all the way from uptown."
"I mean, CC passed that over like five defenders."
"It’s like watching the quarterback, Patrick Mahomes."
"And that is how the magic happens."
    "Beautiful pass from CC."
"CC, it’s like a maestro. It’s like a yoyo with the ball."
"CC warps it around, my goodnesssss."
"CC whipping it down, oh my."
"She finds a way - the precision of the pass."
    "The feed and the finish."
"I mean, are you kidding me?"
    "Bounced pass on the money."
"It is CC’s world, and we are all just living in it - she hits a 3, she gets a rebound, she feeds and assists."
"How did she get it down to Stuelke?"
"Slices it down with a bounced pass before the buzzer."

In case you've seen all the comments from people frustrated with the Fever players, for dropping a lot of Clark's passes, now you know why. The Hawkeye players very rarely if ever missed or dropped Clark's passes. Hannah Stuelke you were liking there, will be a senior at Iowa next year. Before that, Clark had Monika Czinano. Monika was built like a brick shithouse, and Clark and Czinano were nicknamed "the law firm." I think she's playing in Europe at the moment, not the WNBA unfortunately

Yup, and it did help those Iowa team starters had a lot of time playing together, whereas this young Fever team got thrown into the fire with the toughest and busiest schedule to start the season with and have only recently started to get more practice time and rest, hence there's been some improvement in team chemistry but still a ways to go [edit: fixed a couple of typos].

And then u have angel Reese saying what else does she bring to the game besides her 3s. She's throwing 3/4 of the court passes. Slicing and dicing passes threw people and she's either going to break the record for a rookies assist total or maybe already has. Her assists on the pass are just crazy. And like u said. Something I wasn't noticing is her hitting them In stride where they don't even have to stop. She leads them right to the basket. Amazing and exciting stuff! And now we know where the jealousy comes from. I just wish she would work on her D. And not stand around the perimeter so much. Gotta keep moving. Could be conditioning as the schedule from college to wnba is brutal. But I remember in college thinking she really needed to work on her D. She would be a complete player if so!!!!! Oh and today's games she had 3 to 5 blocks as a guard? She gets steals. And to think she's only going to get better and stronger!!!! 🎉❤👏

This is what all teams are looking for. A player who is a great 3 point shooter, can score from the paint, and who shares the ball when she doesn't have the shot. How is she on free throws, rebounds, and defense? If she is solid on those things then she is it.

there are many who whine that she has a lot of turnovers in the WNBA ....Most are because her new teamates are not use to a Point Guard who passes from so many seemingly impossible scenarios and with such force from even Full court.....in time the turnovers will become fewer once everyone knows tto expect those unexpected passes....

Watch STUELKE 47 video. Hannah (aka Power Puffs) drops 47 on Penn State. It is a master class by CC on elite passing, rim running and transition. Stuelke set the arena points record but only for one game. Then CC took the arena record with 49 points one week later. DRAFT STUELKE.🤩

I think she must have watched a lot of Larry Bird passing footage, and her teammates need to be ready at anytime for her to dish one off to them as she’s a complete team player and always looks to involve her teammates in an effort to score and that’s how you win, plain & simple.

the best part about these passes is that her teammates know, and are ready at the second. not like the wnba, but they are learning and these passes are now starting to pay off.. people say OMG her turn overs, yeah her turn overs are not because of her, its because her WNBA team mates are not used to someone doing amazing ass stuff like she does.

She wears Kobe's Nike's a whole lot! And she makes her teammates better, she gives them opportunities. Don't listen to the crazy noise out there re: WNBA "storylines". Also watch Full Court Press, it follows her and two other NCAA women's players for 2023-2024, it was supposed to be only her, but she insisted on two others to follow too! Love your excitement here!

Never watched one WNBA game before this game but I try not to miss a fever game. TBH the league as a whole isn't good which is why they don't have ratings to this point, but CC is a generational player that's just so fun to watch. Her team is starting to get used to her finding them with passes and getting better at receiving. A lot of her "turnovers" hit her teammates in the hands and went out of bounds to this point.

Everybody keeps bringing up that CC is leading the WNBA in turnovers. But that is only because her new teammates aren't used to her passes yet. They are getting better every game though. It just takes time. Also, LeBron leads the NBA in turnovers. Doesn't make him a bad player..
