      Yeah, it was Mapco. I ordered them from Germany and they came with bearings, brake disc backing plates and hubs already fitted.

    This looks exactly like the one on my Skoda Fabia mk2. My nozzle is busted, so I’m looking for guides. This might be the one. Thanks!

    Hi so i did this today and the screw snapped in the hole. 🤭🤭😔😔 is there anything i can do to get it out?

      Nooo! Sorry to hear you are having problems with this fix. You may have to remove the whole mechanism and replace the tube section that the nozzle sits in.
      I would really need to see it to work out if it could be removed another way.
      Hope you get it sorted, let me know how you get on.

    When I try and use my rear washer on my Tiguan I can hear the washer motor, but nothing comes out the back.. in your opinion is it rust? I've tried sticking needles in the exiting jet but no luck in clearing the blockade.

      I remember reading about a fault with rear wash wipes on Tiguans from a certain year/years, although this was to do with them leaking constantly. It could be that a previous owner attempted to fix this fault with a repair. Could be a faulty one way valve, could be blocked or crushed pipe.

    Can you get in trouble for squirting the car behind you without that deflector cover?

    Do you have to remove back plastic cover from inside to push it from inside? I keep on trying to push it from outside but this nozzle seems not to be fully inserted. Help

      Hi Paul, you only need to remove the panel for the back door so someone else can get in the back and press against the plastic tube to stop it moving backwards when you try to insert the nozzle jet from the outside. The section of the video where I have the nozzle on the table demonstrates this. I used the old broken nozzle jet and the spare tube I had that came with the kit. Hope you get it sorted.

      The golfs and polos from the same era do have similar parts in some cases, I cannot say for sure though. I can't imagine it being too different.

    Was it necessary to remove the wiper arm?

    • @T4TipsGuides
      @T4TipsGuides  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      You could try this fix without removing the wiper arm, you cannot turn the screw too much as it will hinder removal, I know some have failed to remove the broken nozzle and had to drill the remaining plastic out because the old nozzle split. Then you could drill too far and destroy the plastic tube, then you have to remove that and replace it too. Removing the wiper arm allows you to remove the nut behind, I did this so I could tap the tube against the back of the door, rather than just trying to pull it straight out and probably splitting the nozzle.
