Thank you soooo much. You made it so easy and now I won't kill my True Sincerity rose. It had 3-3-5 leaves. So easy now. I can't than you enough!!!!❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉
I got frustrated with my orange glow knockouts blooming pink, and I did exactly this. Now they're growing suuuper tall and blooming a sort of dark coral color. I've never had garden beds til this year, and I'm pretty much just following my instincts with regard to planting, pruning, deadheading, re-seed vs deadhead, all of it and watching the knockouts hit 5 feet already has definitely been the biggest surprise I've encountered thus far. They're in full afternoon shade with dappled evening if that makes any difference, and summer temps hover around 85°F
Thank you for this. I was wondering why mine aren’t doing so well. I’ll have to remember this!
Of course! They need TLC too!

Will cutting all the blooms off harm the plant?
Not if they're dead/dying
Question though, what does cutting it at a 45° angle do?
Stops it from getting clogged up and allows new growth
Also prevents it from getting fungus, heard it from another pruning video tutorial of rose plant.
Does it have to be the first five leafs can I go back to the next set of five leaves?
This will shorten the rose significantly but yes
This was sick thanks
Glad it was helpful!
All the text is blocking my view...
Go watch the whole video!
What will happen if I cut all the blooms off (not dying/dead ones)?
They will grow back eventually
