I would love your help on a black boot choice for business casual with jeans and chinos. Black Chelsea? Black lace up boot? Which is more versatile and what is one you’d recommend? I want great quality. Thank you. I have dark brown Allen Edmonds Dalton boots but I’m not sure they go good with grey and black. Thank you.
This girl for shore had been looking my style since i have 13 years old to bring now to the internet, all those mix colours and even shoes style had been my models since the 90s..love to see at my 50s that is still the ggod look kind of doing it!!
I love Koio boots. I just got the Trento Cardamom. It’s a suede Chelsea boot. Could you give some recommendations on how to style those? Your videos are awesome and very helpful. Thank you.
Exatly, just the time to replace them it gonna be diferent, dont buy "made in china" shoes, buy "made in vietnam", because the quality of the shoes imported from china dont have thw same quality kind that indonésia or vietnam have in that department..
Ashley what’s your advice on which outfits to wear with my new Red Wings boots/Moc toe? Currently trying to break them in or they are trying to break me in😂
since the boot is more rugged, i would personally lean into that style, with some brown heavy pants or even carpenter pants and you can use a lot of things for the top: 1. a flannel, now you look like a cliche woodworker and it strangely works 2. oxford shirt (would recommend a black one here, cause i like the combo of black and brown), you clash the formal with the more rugged, always works great 3. standard hoodie (same color as the oxford), always works
The only thing I don't really agree with is Chelsea boots on a bigger guy. I'm a heavier set guy and I get a ton of compliments when I'm wearing them. I'm 6'4, so maybe that helps with the whole proportion thang, I dunno? I wear a size 15 too, so my feet never look smaller than they should lol
It really depend on the type of women that actually enjoy these looks on me. I'm from the hood/ghetto. A lot of women in my neighborhood don't have any style themselves & they like hoodlums.
personally i always cuff my pants with boots, cause i like the look. provided, i am 6'2. Yes, it would make short people's legs look shorter, but if you like the look of it, you can always go for pants with a higher rise (and tuck your shirt in) and you have countered the issue
Not really sure the black Chelsea boot is the way to go. It locks you into black pants or dark washed denim. Medium brown opens up chinos with the right belt, your greens, many suits, lighter denim styles, and brown jackets. Leave black to the casual workboot.
TBH, matching my shoes with my dress is not an option… i just have one pair of shoes and i have to live with that. Also, i have a beutiful wife who loves whatever i wear… so its a win win…😁 Didnt know we have to impress girls like that…
Nice video, but there are only two ways to get me to wear brown boots of any kind: 1. Pay me a large sum of money. 2. Knock me out and put them on me when I'm out. I hate brown and I don't have anything that will match them in my wardrobe. I'm doing just fine with my clean and polished Black Western Boots, dark wash jeans, and a button-down collared shirt.
Great advice, though personally I never combine black or grey with brown colours! I think they collide as the former are cold colours, and the latter is a warm colour!
Man black and grey go great with brown and all it shades. There's so many great combinations for them. Not just with shoes but also layering those colors and using them in accessories
@@D_Jilla now that's just a lie. Have you ever seen someone in a charcoal or black suit with brown shoes? No, you have not and there is a reason for that.
@@minibando3660 with a charcoal suit?? Hell yes. Dark brown, cognac, antique brown that goes into the red spectrum, create a nice contrast. Black suit? Nah, but I'm not just talking about suits here. Dark brown with black looks good with more casual ensembles.
Black boots are the least versatile. IMO they only work with all black clothes And I do not wear all black clothes since when I was a metalhead teenager in the 90’s. There are much more variety of brown boots (from saddle tan to dark brown via redish brown) that can blend in a lot of looks.
Mhmmm who’s wearing skinny jeans in 2024? … love the color combo ideas. But…. And huge but…. As a fashion guru you should know not to suggest skinny jeans. But thanks for the video
Sorry, I wouldn't take this advice. Black is the most formal of all colors and shouldn't be overused. It also can make it look like you're really trying too hard. Whenever I see girls or guys dressed all in black (esp in groups), the look absolutely conformist, unimaginative, and uncreative. Brown boots > Black boots 90% of the time imo.

Ashley, I never really comment in youtuber videos, but you are REALLY good. Incredibly useful content always! Thanks!
Thats my autumn outfit….free of charge. Thank you Ashley…you are awesome!!!
Literally listening to you while shopping ❤
Dorian! Now we need him to make a proper cameo in a video again.
Agreed! I'll see what I can do :)
Nice brown boots are good for every occasion except for formal. Its nearly universal foot ware.
Who needs formal?
Like the quality of your videos! Can you do something for us guys over 60? There are a lot of us out here and we really need the help!
I have a suede pair of chocolate brown Chukkas. Debating if I should get a leather one as well.

Ah yes, black and white, my favourite fall colours

Outfit 6 & 7 are the best for my style :-)
Thank you Ashley!
5:08 is my favorite outfit. Need to put that together. Would you say it’s age appropriate for someone in their early 40’s?
100%!!!
I love Koio boots. I just got the Trento Cardamom. It’s a suede Chelsea boot. Could you give some recommendations on how to style those? Your videos are awesome and very helpful. Thank you.
Very enjoyable commentary! Its great that you stayed away from promoting a brand …you can achieve all these looks with any budget!

nobody beats the BonJovi way on styling boots and jeans!!!
Loved this! Thank you Ashley 💙
How about styling boots for warmer weather?
*Oh ashley.. I was actually so confused with what to wear with my boots* You are a Life saver. THANK YOU SO MUCH ❤
You are so welcome!
Im not big on black boots, for me its all about the brown boots 👍🏼 brown chukkas or service boots are my favorite
Could you please make one video on bootcut jeans. How to wear it properly with wide variety of shoes available in the market.
What's the utility jacket at 8:04? Looks really nice
Ditto. I’ve been searching high and low for a similar jacket.
Model No. 6-7 is Her husband 😄
Yep
Thanks Ash! I ❤ you.
Whats the brand on the boots 00:21?
nice video. can you suggest us how to mix outfits for timberland flag ship boots?
Great content and I have to invest in a pair of black Chelsea Boots 👍
Chelsea boots are already out my mans.
Love the boots in this video!! Very becoming.
Glad you like them!

09:17 what brand is this grey bomber?
Bomber jacket in winter 😂 in Sweden. -36C good luck 😊🤧

What about some brown leather jodhpur boots?
Are red wing boots good?
I’ve got a grey over coat which I purchased for last winter. Could a bloke wear a green or burgundy over coat to wear with an outfit
Depends on what you're wearing under it! I'd recommend sticking to neutral colors (black, charcoal etc) as these wouldn't steal focus!
The best look IMHO: Lace Up Boots with rolled up jeans... like Ryan Gosling in "Only God Forgives"
I've decided that dark olive leather boots are the most versatile boots ever.
It really depend on the type of women that actually enjoy these looks on me. I'm from the hood/ghetto. A lot of women in my neighborhood don't have any style themselves & they like hoodlums.
1:49. Kind of coat is that. ? I want that
1:55 shots fired at Blake Scott
Thank you for everything you do for us men Ashley. 💘
You are so welcome!
You need an ultimate chukka boots video
So buy black Chelsea boots. Got it.
Do you recommend shorter guys cuffing their jeans with boots? It seems like it would only make them look shorter.

Outfit #3 is my favourite but I don't think I could pull it off sadly (height = small, and i don't think I could pull it of with my long hair)
Just make sure the coat doesn't go beyond mid thigh and you'll be fine

Can you wear white bottom soles in the fall and winter in the Midwest?
You saved me with this
Leather jacket outfit inspiration need
Im excited to do this to my husband
This background music is catchy.
Black turtleneck like Michael Scott wore to feed the ducks when he was depressed? LOLOL
0:22 what boots ale those?
what height should men stay away from the grey over coat? im 5'8
youre definitely fine, and honestly you can still pull it off, even if you are smaller, just need to utilize some tricks

I agree on the black don’t go with brown, I never do that (since 43 years!) but I really like my saddle tan diesel boots with grey trousers and coat.

I think my attire is better than 70% of men. That's good enough for me, since I don't seem to have a problem needing to find a woman.
Do you think high heels boots is bad fashion for man ?
cowboy boots has high heels as long as the heel is not over 2 inches it should be good
Cute ❤ Ashley
Imagine being Ashley’s partner… and NOT know how to dress? 😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
who is here just to watch the video wishing you actually had money to get any pairs of boots!? :P
Nice
I haven't watched much, but there seemed to be a lot of puffy vests... I thought you couldn't stand puffy vests???
Always a dream to have a wife like this teaching me all about dressing style 🥺

Just say NO to beanies, Pappa Smurf. And Chelsea boots are so ugly. I hate the stretchy mesh material on the sides.
I'm with you. Elastic on the sides of boots is as bad as shoes that do up with velcro. And beanie hats are strictly for toddlers in my opinion.
I'm not a fan of black boots, I think those first 2 outfits look pretty bad. Maybe it's just me?
I just find it funny that ppl listen to these “experts”😂 for approval. Be real, be you and wear whatever you like. This chick is 🤡

Wow you’re so cute
Men actually don't like plastic dols.
Now she sounds a little fake did you see Zac Efron shoes and pants bunched all up at the bottom!!!
Every one of those outfits was hipster
The homeless Chelsie look…..
Men rolling up pantlegs? That strikes me as a definite NO.
5:15 brown with black ? Really …….style from Lidl 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Let people with style from Paris and Milano do this job and go to eat in Mc Donald’s and in Taco Bell . You know nothing about outfits
