I read The Dutch House and Tom Lake earlier this year and loved both. I own both The Elegance of the Hedgehog and Days of Abandonment and hope to get to them soon. Loved Gilead as well. Great haul. ❤

I'm a reader and a collector (mainly of secondhand books AusLit, Classics and Poetry, memoirs, some Aus History and Natural History). I''ve only read Gatsby and Trespass on your list, both excellent. I've only read part of Elegance, I need to get back to it, it's quite a philosophical novel. Some of your others on the list are still sitting on my TBR too, I keep picking up bright and shiny new releases from the library and need to start reading from my shelves. BTW Rushdie's memoir Knife is excellent, read it last month. Currently reading More Days at the Morisaki Bookshop by Satoshi Yasgisawa Trans by Eric Ozawa. Happy Reading!
