Not sure why I hadn't done it sooner, but I added timestamps to the video so people can easily hop around if they are only interested in 1 specific game within the pack, or anything like that.
I once played Champ'd up and it said "Create the champion of Ye Olde times." I wanted to draw Shakespeare, but I didn't know what he looked like, so I drew a shaking pear.

I once had a tag team prompt switch from "Champion of Jerks" to "Champion of First to be Sacrificed".
My Champion, "Unnecessary Emergency Meeting", ended up winning both lol
Actually, the devs said on stream that the person hosting Champ'd Up isn't Cookie. They said to think of the host as Cookie's more successful brother

Speaking as someone who has been diagnosed with social anxiety disorder, Talking Points with my friends is legitimately helpful to me when trying to speak up and participate in public more.

Honestly, that anxiety was what made me fear Talking Points as my least favorite, but I had an absolute blast playing it, to point where it might be my favorite. But that's hard to say when this pack has such an amazing lineup.
In my personal opinion, 7 is the best one yet. All the games are equally matched, i couldn’t say any of them are better than others. It’s great

Underrated part of Blather Rounds’ is the text-to-speech aspect when you input guesses. Making the speech say anything you want can be hilarious

This was in my opinion the best release so far. I would play any one of the games again. None of them did I think "Man, this was kinda boring. I'd rather do something else". What a success!

Really? That quote is what each of my friends said when we tried out Devils in the Details. I can't grasp how anybody can find that game entertaining. Even Word Spud was better. How did you enjoy Devils?
@@xvgm24 On a 2 year reflection, Devils is probably the weak link of the pack, but I still maintain it was an overall success. I guess it really depends on the group you play it with.

I really liked this review, and the fact that you took every way of playing into consideration.
I only have 1 nitpick and that's when you mentioned that Blather Round was the only one of the pack with an outro theme.
This is not true, because every game except Talking points has a credit theme with vocals.
But like I said, this was a great review!

I remember in Champ'd Up, my drawing, Satan, battled against Jesus for the title of "Good Samaritan." Satan won.

I feel like the point of awards in Talking Points is basically to give points to your favorite presentation. The name can be whatever you want it to be just to add an extra laugh.

This is one of the best Party Packs, no misses tonight when I played it with 5 people. Devils and the Details is my personal favorite.
the music for champ'd up's credits is now one of my favorite songs in general
I played DATD over stream and it is chaos.
I think the bad thing about is, is that you have to talk. With people. I dont like socialization with randoms
i played this with a streamer, and it was just constant typing in chat instructions, asking "jared what the fuck is the phone number" and stuff like that, i dunno why but somehow we still had fun with it
I've never played any of the jackbox games but I've been watching reviews for all them to figure out what is best. This one seems like the most fun!

I think Drawfee's pre-release videos on Champed Up are a really good demonstration of the game flow and how chaotic and silly it can be

This is genuinely one of the most fun games ive played period. all of them are fun and they're just as fun every time you play them. plus, the music goes hard
Me and my friends did Devils and the Details over text on Discord and it was amazing, easily my favorite game of the pack. It gets confusing but when you know who you’re working with it goes pretty smoothly honestly.

My family freaking loves the devils and the details as it leads to us rapidly taping our phones and iPads with every finger we have when there is a family emergency. It is annoying but also super funny just to hear the constant tapping

Quick note: in the devils and the details, at the end it only shows who COMPLETED a selfish task, so if you tried to do one but someone stopped you, it wouldn’t show
Hey did u know that now after you play a game of Champ’d Up you can get a real life tcg with your drawings as the cards?
(you couldn’t do this at launch but they added it in later and it’s really cool and fun)
Man that's why I have all the jackbox games on my switch they are so fun some of them can be hard to play with family tho but are worth having still.
Talking points is a good ice breaker game. Since it forces people to talk and ramble XD
Man the devil and the details is my favorite jackbox game. When I play with my group of friends everyone keeps an eye out of me because in our group im great at getting tasks done quickly and my end goal isn't to get the mug, but to set the kitchen on fire. It's become a joke in my friend group, and we all have alot of fun with it. Now I will say this, how we play, we play over a call with one person hosting the game and we all watch a livestream. Even if the video cuts out you can still find out if there is a selfish task being done. There is an audio cue every time someone does something selfish so when you hear that be sure to check the tasks list on your device. Besides that, the only time I look at the stream is when the day is done. I come second place every time, a few points behind the selfish stopper. So the game can be done over a call just be warned over things

Don't forget that the Safety Quips aren't useless anymore in Quiplash 3!
They probably took some notes from Use Your Words
The safety's did feel a little less random, and more directed to the asked prompt this time!
But I didn't want to hype up that feature too much, because it should be a last resort rather than an often used mechanic.

In Quiplash 2, I did A Safety Quip And Got Detroit, Just Detroit. Whenever I Don't Know What To Say, I Just Say Detroit
After rewatching this, I realized that Talking Points was always a gem that I never talked about. I played with a guy who could without fail, always made the group die in laughter with his presentations. It’s probably due to him always picking the most ludicrous prompts and giving his presentation with a straight face and super serious. Another time we played we had one guy give his presentation, and one of the slides was so off topic it became a small joke in the presentation. I went after him and my presentation was about the topic, but I added in the whole “I followed that last guy’s advice and now everything is terrible!” And it really got some laughs. Talking points is about improve and knowing that everyone is taking nonsense and nothing is too serious
My only problem with champ’d up is that, because of how the round 2 system works, winning the first of the 2 matches actually puts you at a disadvantage, because only the winner of the 2nd match gets any points, and any ties goes to the underdog, which is the loser of the first round. I’ve lost many matches due to winning the first match

champ'd up is basically tee ko (2 drawings fighting against each other) combined with quiplash (things don't re-appear immediately and the responses have to be related to something), and that's not a bad thing

I was surprised to see you rank JBPP6 as your #2 spot, I found that one a bit underwhelming, the good games being Trivia Murder Party 2 (A trivia game I am willing to play) and Push The Button which is like Offline-Among-Us-Where-The-Imposters-Always-Wins
I based me new ratings on attempting to rate every individual game.
I have them all a score out of 10, and averaged each Pack. We found everything in JackBox 6 to be at least decent. No real stinkers. But the overall quality is still below what we got in 7!

I really enjoyed The Devils and The Details, at first. I played with 5 people including myself and after four days in the game the gameplay started feeling really repetitive. It also wasn’t very difficult. Maybe it was because we didn’t have as many players but I’m worried about the replay ability of the game.
lmao my group found it repetitive after three minutes. Got boring for us real quickly. It's a good concept for a game but it overstays its welcome very quickly.
In my opinion Blather Round is the best game in the pack along with Quiplash 3 (because it's Quiplash), It's easily a top 10 jackbox game, maybe even top 5 in my opinion.
Calling it the weakest one of the pack is pretty disingenuous when you have two games that some people can't play due to being too gamery (Devils, just like Monster seeking monster) or social pressure (Talking Points).
I really have to disagree that it's low energy as people are scrambling to find the answer and helpful words against the timer.
And what's also great about it is that it works great at 2 or 3 players whereas very many jackbox games have a functional minimum of 4 players (even though they say you can play with 3 you really shouldn't), and some games only shine when you have at least 5 or 6 players. It's incredibly nice to be able to confidently go to a jackbox game when half the players have logged and there are 2-4 of you that still want to keep on going.
We found that we were playing in almost complete silence for Blather Round, as everyone is trying to privately analyze, without giving too much away and risk someone else getting it first. So in that way it felt lower energy.
It's "weak" strictly in the sense that it's not a new concept (Quiplash isn't either, but it's always been pretty unique to JackBox). Blather Round is by no means a bad game! It's actually rather good! I have just played games like it before, and that hurt my opinion some. But their spin still makes for an excellent JackBox experience.
Having the option to play with so few people is a good consideration, because I don't think any of the other games could ever really allow for that
I completely agree. Devils was the worst by far imo, it had the same drawbacks as Zeeple Dome but with even more conflicting game design. Like, it's unclear whether you're trying to win or trying to to work together. The only sense of progression is the medals you get for each chapter, which has led to us never once doing any selfish tasks, and the game is just too easy. At least with Zeeple Dome, it makes sense to play cooperatively because there are new power-ups, enemies, and difficulties to unlock.
I think all the other games are top tier, but Devils is pretty low on my list of Jackbox games, definitely bottom quarter. Disappointing because it seems like a lot of work was put into it.
@@TnTCinematics2012 I don't like to tell people how to play a game. But I think you'll get more out of TDaTD if you try to individually win! Nobody can win if you don't make it to the end. So you need to work together. But you are unlikely to win without being selfish.
As soon as numerous people are attempting to be selfish, and creates more of a difficulty curve as there is so much more to watch out for, and more ways for an attempt to flat out fail.
I like all games but Devils and the details I will try it in person soon but it sucks online

The host of champ’d up is actually cookies brother.
Champ'd Up is fun but I've found that a lot of people will just redraw the champion but with like sunglasses or something so then everyone laughs at that and chooses the sunglasses version.
You're wrong on The Devils And The Details not working on stream. I've played it on someone's Twitch stream using chat and I can confirm it's literally just as much fun. Also, Cookie Masterson does NOT host Champ'd Up, Jackbox has officially confirmed that on one of their streams. Still, good video!

I can really only give out my opinion on 2 of the games since I always play Jackbox when someone streams it and I’ve always been in the audience in Blather ‘Round xd
I will update this once I get to try the other games (if I do get to try them)
UPDATE: I’ve finally played Blather ‘Round without being trapped I the audience
Quiplash 3: I love that you are able to pick your own little avatar instead of being randomly being assigned one, and I love the new avatars added. I was surprised that I actually liked the claymation style, because normally I hate it. I do enjoy the final round more than in the other games definitely, it definitely feels more free than the past 2 game final rounds. Overall: 8.5/10
Champ’D UP: My favorite game of the pack (for now). After 4 packs, the undo button has made a return, and I’m glad it did, because the drawings in this game are absolutely WILD. I’m glad they added the highlighters, as coloring things in was so hard in the past (mainly applies to Tee KO, which I do like but I would like more if the way the shirts were presented were better), so this is a great feature. I love the little kill animations segments when someone gets all the votes, even though it feels absolutely terrible being on the 0-vote side. 10/10 game for sure.
Blather ‘Round: Pretty chill game. I like the setup for the clues, and the bus if and style is great imho. Not too much to say about it. Overall: 8/10

The poll can go even higher than 0-10, I had a game where everyone SPAMMED the vote up button because of a chain of jokes
I wish devils was streamer friendly, I also have issues with champed up lagging on jackbox's website

Give 3 and 6 a look.
Considering the ways those games overlap with the 2 you already have, you'll likely only want/need 1 of those 2 to feel like you have a crazy amount of options.
It'll likely come down to whether you think Push the Button in 6, or Fakin' It in 3 matches better with your preferences.

5. Quiplash 3
(I honestly can't see anything much different from the second game. In fact, there's even less variety with the final round.)
4. Blather 'Round
(The prompts are a bit hit or miss and the games don't get very exciting or interesting apart from some funny guesses.)
3 or 2. Talking Points or Champ'd Up
(Talking Points is a great game with great images, text slides, and presentation functions. The upvote/downvote feature is great, and I enjoy the recap. The rounds take a bit too long though.)
(Champ'd up gives great Tee KO vibes and the tag out rounds are great. I especially love being able to tag out characters from previous games.)
1. The Devils and The Details (By far the best and pretty self explanatory. Love the cooperation/selfish dynamic, punishments, and pressuring situations.)

The one downside of this pack is there's no trivia game. I like the trivia, and kind of miss the wacky style of classic You Don't Know Jack, but I think that's a small complaint for a party pack as a whole.
