    The way you have your belt routed through your holster gives me anxiety

    I have that condor dump pouch, as well as a old condor m4 pouch for my tourniquet. It’s hard to justify spending money on a better name brand when it comes to these items. Mag pouches belt and holster you were definitely going to want to spend a little extra money but there are some things it’s totally acceptable to go cheaper on Great video man

    you got your holster threaded on the belt incorrectly.

      Tell me how

    • @jagerwayz5721
      @jagerwayz5721 4 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      @@Readyroomreviews you want the belt threading going in to the loops not from the back to front, but from the front to back. That way you still have velcro on the majority of the backside of the holster. Check out Warrior Poet Society- How I Setup my War Belt, and glance at his holster around the 2:40 mark. I suppose either way works really! nice video BTW

      Super funny. I run my belt that way through my ubl cause my holster shifts on my 1.75 inch alpha belt. I put sticky velcro loop on the ubl so it interfaces with the belt and on the backside of the ubl i put sticky velcro hook to interface my inner belt. That way I don't have to drill holes in my ubl and make a makeshift thing. On my safariland belt which is 2 inches wide. I run it the proper way.

    I'm in law enforcement and moving to investigations. I'm going to run a belt like this to be able to throw on when I am out of the office. Does the Safariland need a leg attachment? Does it tend to pull outwards or can you draw smooth?

    • @Readyroomreviews
      @Readyroomreviews  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Holster draws very smooth no issue there. I don’t find the need to have a leg strap with the holster because it’s only a 1.5 inch drop. But that is just me. Some people use a leg strap I would have do what is comfortable for you.

    • @fiddle24v
      @fiddle24v 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      If you get a mid-ride setup, definitely get a leg strap, it will keep your draw way more consistent. The holster will tend to pull sideways (away from your leg) if you don’t draw straight up, the leg strap keeps it a lot more forgiving. It’s a $20 piece of fabric that will help you a lot.

    • @ryanpeck3377
      @ryanpeck3377 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Get a leg strap, it will help keep the holster in place if your draw isnt perfect....TRex Arms sells one for like $12 ..... Check out ”Presscheck Consulting” here on youtube... he goes over all the different safariland holster setups etc

    Hello friend, what size is the belt of the video? My waist is 34 "according to your experience, what size do you recommend, the small one is 29" to 34 "or the medium one is 34" to 39 ". Can the medium fit a little less than the manufacturer's specifications?

    • @Readyroomreviews
      @Readyroomreviews  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Medium because if you add layers of clothing of whatever. I think it’s easier to go up then down. The medium might fit a little smaller then manufactured specs

    Do you like this more than the hsgi suregrip you reviewed? I feel like war belt is more convenient/easier to throw on and off than inner/outer belt setup. What do you think? Thanks

      Ka-bar TDI Law enforcement blade. It's just a little bigger than the TDI shark bite and comes with a holster that will mount right onto your belt. I love the angled handle on mine.
      It's mounted just in front of the holster, like how Warrior Poet has his.
