Would you know if the KRYDEX Fat Strap H Harness would fit on this? Chinese clone set that seems to be about $25. What mods/upgrades would I have to do to get it to fit or could you recommend another which would?

How did you do with the tabs for the radio pouches

really have to get a camelback of some sort hell an OG107 cost you like $14 and it carries like 2 1/2 times the amount of water as two canteens on your rig like that. Keep the canteen pouches in place as extra mag storage, gp pouch, extra dump, barring unit SOP color the tabs red and you got an improvised IFAK pouch. If you want you can also carry one canteen in one pouch and have extra water or both but I dont see why you would need that much water. This system is good but it works better in conjunction with some kind of belt once you get the water source on your back it and you include a belt you have tons of real estate to work with and you can carry more gear more easily and with less bulk. I was in the marines so all my gear is coyote brown if you go the ACU route you can have the exact same setup for a third of the cost

an propper NVG Pouch need a Hardcase and Padding on the Outside (makin it silent) AND Padding on the Inside (makin the NVG save during movement) everything else is crap.

Nothing against your review, but I’m a grenadier in the us army. I used this holster for my m320 in a training exercise and this holster broke almost immediately. This product is trash atleast for actual military service.

Holy Jesus. It’s not often you see an actual iotv in these vids. God bless you for making the most out of the bs they give us. The last deployment they required the iotv specially, but I packed my own carrier after the layout. I got chewed out but what could they do lol, we were already there.

I have a gen 1 iotv carrier, the soft and hard plates are good but the carrier is wasted. Does anyone know what brand carriers will fit the point blank panels from military issued iotvs?

We have them issued at work, pretty useful ! Another application would be to ditch the casulties equipement inside since it has an opening at the top. Great way to carry all the gear without losing anything !

A little constructive criticism here. The IFAK placement is absolutely terrible, I don't know if that's your unit SOP, if it is, that's stupid. You always want to provide self-aid first whenever you can, so your IFAK should be easily accessible with either hand. Being on the back is just not ideal. And also, your medic/CLS shouldn't have to search for your IFAK, CCA is done at a supine position for a reason, having to log roll you to access your IFAK is just silly. Also, the TQ, please secure it better ;)

I just came across this video because I'm setting up a JPC 1.0 for basically slim profile for carrying a pack and I have my own setup similarly to your own with the same mindset for the front placard. I have the 10 speed setup for low profile so I can get prone without discomfort, and they can retain just about anything you put in them. I have 2 questions if you don't mind. It's been 2 years since you posted this, so maybe you can review something for me. The admin pouch.... Pain in the ass to get the Mags out quickly? I've thought about buying one, but I still want quick reloads. And 2. I dont have a ton of experience with JPC's yet and I've never seen anyone bungee the cumberbund on the back like that before. Is that something that's pretty standard among guys in the field? Mine set up like it came although I swapped out to smaller diameter shock cord for a bit more forgiving mobility. Is there a benefit to doing it your way? Thanks.

Thank you for passing on your knowledge and experience on modernizing the taps. I’d put your med kit contents in a slider ziplock bag or a vacuum bag for quick removal of all the items. Either way Keep up the great content!

I made my first taps from surplus and saved $120 and holds 7 mags. The second one I got in ocp and then cut down the middle to build a split chest rig. It's become my new favorite
