Star Wars Hunters is a lot of fun! The gameplay is polished, there's a good variety of maps, and the characters are all unique. The free-to-play model has zero impact on gameplay, and the cosmetics, both free and paid, are well-designed. Whoever is overseeing the art direction deserves some praise.

So, I haven't seen anyone talking about the real problems with the game:
the bots that are present in ranked. The skill/rank disparity between teams in ranked. The fact that solo queue teams can be matched up against 4 stacks in ranked.
This game is unplayable if you want to play casual. They ruined the game. Nothing but a bunch of sweaty boys living in their moms basement playing it with a controller on their computer, using voice chat and having no job lol.
I find getting to K1 is impossible as a solo player on Switch. Every time I get near K1 it matches me up against a team thats playing with a mouse and keybourd and has a preset team with guys likely on mics and headphones. Its completely unfair fighting against that. You can tell by how they play. They play as an actual team, they almost never miss, and they even have matchung skins.
I think they should do unlocking pass hunters like overwatch, where you get the new character on tier 1 with premium, or you could reach level 50 and get them free!
They removed that because of the backlash the new heroes are now free to play in Overwatch imo they should do the same or hust let us unlock them trough gameplay

My real consern about the game that is there any possibility even slightly to release it in platforms like pc and playstation, you know these have the most huge players base and if not they are wasting the game's potential.
I would argue that mobile is the largest player base, hence why they designed it as a f2p model as is the norm on mobile
PlayStation and PC can suck an egg. Either buy a switch or play mobile or nothing.
Exactly instead they only will have about 200 players who cheat using voice chats and controllers while the 90% of the player base gives up playing lol.

As a f2p player all I want is to eventually get the premium pass from completing a few of the basic passes. Its rare I get get to drop even 10$ on a game.
I have been experiencing an unknown error causing login to fail on switch. I have tried every fix I can find on the internet but none of them worked do you know of an update or a fix. Also, I believe that trying to login with Nintendo caused the unknown error.
After waiting 3 years for this game, I gotta say it's awesome. I love this game and look forward to playing more. I couldn't get back in OW because of the challenge and also toxicity. But with this game, I can play for fun in my favorite franchise. Thank you also for clearing up the Mandalorian character. That helped a lot!
We need HUD customization..I’m tired of going against switch players jump spamming an all I can do is use my thumbs 😒

@@peanutpete yes,but I had Ben playing mobile games for years.i usually use 4 finger claw sometimes 5.i prefer it sometimes when it comes to mobile gaming. Plus when i travel I don’t wana have to always pack a controller

Skill issue
My biggest issue/fear with this game is the current account setup… it’s extremely similar if not the same to Fortnite, where if you make an account/start playing the game on the switch, it automatically makes a “guest account” or “temp acc” which cannot be used to transfer/share data across devices until email is linked. My issue with this is that when I attempted to play Fortnite after caving into some friends, I started on my PlayStation and made an acc which apparently wasn’t linked to my email, and when I bought in-game passes or whatever, it wouldn’t allow me to see all rewards and claim stuff I had rightly unlocked. When I reached out to customer support they basically said to do these certain steps to delete my temp acc and turn it into a new one with my email linked, and it didn’t work no matter what I did and my account got deleted and I lost ALL my progress/money/skins I unlocked on the battlepass. This basically traumatized me and I’m really scared this game works the same way. I just requested to delete my email linked acc (since I tried playing on mobile after starting on switch and it automatically used my email) so I can link it to my switch acc and hopefully it will work properly without any bugs. I want to support this game since it’s pretty fun so far, but I’m genuinely concerned how the account linking will work in the near future.
It has full cross-progression man, I've played between Android and Switch with full progression between the two 👌

I spent 10 bucks right at launch just out of sheer appreciation that this game kicks ass and is a mobile game that puts some triple A games to utter shame. You have to measure expectations but this might be the best mobile game ive ever seen and played ESPECIALLY on the switch. For me this is the gold standard of which any and all other types of mobile games will have to contend with. Multiversus which is on every platform EXCEPT mobile plays like a bad one and has worse business practices than some of the summiest that i have come across. Great job zynga and all involved.

it does actually mean it is incompatible. For some of my devices it said that. On the discord Im pretty sure there is a list of all compatible devices, but most of them are fairly new devices

As long as they don’t end up going the brawlstars route where every new brawler released via premium pass is overturned until after that season - when they then choose to nerf it when it’s becomes free. Then we’re good.
Are the modes within casual random or can you pick what you want to play.
Once you u unlock a second mode it's random its the same with the event mode and ranked

There's a setting to show damage as stacked in the menus.

Was hoping for some clone trooper skins. Seems like an ez way for them to make a bunch of money so many people would pay for that. Ive been enjoying it so far although i really wish it was on PC aswell i think that really hurts it, not to mention marvel rivals beta just finished and this game is just kinda holding me over until the next beta

Sammy i had a question. I started the game on my Android and I'm loving it but I'd love to also play on the Switch. Can i cross progress my data between my phone and switch like the hunter pass and all that works or will it have to be 2 seperate accounts?
Yeah it has full cross-progression man, if you just download it on the Switch you can login to the same account! 👌

2 months before aran gets to be free? My only issue is that, what goes on when they bring an overpowered character which pretty much dominates the game for that period.

My guess is that the devs will have to nerf the character since players have the power of spam report or spam reviews so the devs will soon see the problem and fix it, if not then they are gonna lose players
Aran isn't OP, bc it's pretty difficult to play. Maybe for people who used being agile, hit and run, might get used to it. For me who usually play support or tank is quite challenging. The game still have couple of flaws, but i don't regret to bought the battle pass. The game is fun, i love hero shooter, and it's star wars!

this may not be how economics works but i feel that if someone opens a lemonade shop and sells each cup for 20 dollars then maybe one person will buy it; an alternative is that they sell each for 5 dollars and have 5 people buy it, already making more money than the former situation. I feel that if games adapted this they’d make more money in the long run right?
Sure, that makes sense at first. But they price stuff based off how much people are willing to spend on something. They know they can sell x amount of something for x amount of money because of previous games. It's not just as simple as "price product less = more product sold"
Yes but video games are drastically harder and more time consuming to make than lemonade, so the price doesn't quite work like that unfortunately

Fame grants seem P2W, you can min max a hunter with their abilities that can give an edge over f2p players.
Sure it’s not pay2win now. But what’s stopping them from making a op hunter eventually? There’s no beta or pts to test upcoming characters so them releasing op hunters will happen more times than it won’t.
They most likely took lessons from other games that made those mistakes, I mean remember battlefront 2? The game is is trade market by Disney so it most likely won’t happen since Disney knows the mistakes from battlefront 2, and even if they make a op character, almost all the players will leave causing the game to go bankrupt, hope you see this and have a nice day

Never put any money into these games right off the bat. You might get burned. Final fantasy, second soldier or whatever it was called only lasted a year and people put big money into that game. Plenty of other mobile games have been shut down without any notice.
Waiting 2 months for a hero release is insane. Even Overwatch did this better when it was locked behind the battlepass. You say it's not pay to win and that's true for this hero but when a new hero comes amd they are OP which is gonna happen at some point this is gonna be a real issue. This is not a fair way at all imo i don't care if it takes me to complete the bp entire to unlock a new hero it is not okay to lock it for 2 months or pay to get it 2 months early basically this will be an issue when more powerful heroes release. I don't think this is okay for any game to do for a multiplayer game with ranked modes

yeahhh that’s gotta change for sure. they should do it like OW used to where hes unlockable at a certain level in the pass for free (let’s say lvl 50) but if u buy the pass u get him instantly. at least that way its POSSIBLE to unlock them for free this season.

I'm thoroughly enjoying the android port of this game, I absolutely Stan Sentinel as a main 💪 always good to have a healer than knows how to heal too 😂
i honestly hate that people act like skins arent worth having. expensive skins is a problem. skins add to the enjoyment of a game. especially when the default outfits are ass compared to paid skins. "just skins" is not a good justification in the modern age. Especially when old games used to have multiple good skins for characters by default.
Because it is just skins. People WILL buy it if the gameplay and contents are good. Having cheaper skins does not solve the problem. People WILL support the game if its constantly update. Just look at Mobile Legends. The current state for mobile version (android and ios) needs alot of touch ups and fixes. Gameplay feels kind of clunky without custom UI like pubgm or codm.

They shouldnt make the free unlock for the character 2 months but maybe 2-3 weeks so at least you feel if you paid you have "early access" but its not as egregious.
Am I the only one having a blaring issue with my primary weapon just not working? I play on the switch and it is absolutely killing me when my primary weapon stops working. You talked about the pass for 4 minutes. It’s just broke boys complaining in the comments.

Its a joke 90% of the player base will be playing on their phones while the small amount using controllers will have an unfair advantage. This is not a mobile game.
Switch has better FoV and isn’t interrupted by texts and other apps that increase hardware usage.
It’s very accessible to mobile but isn’t better than SW
@Belliferous At least on my Samsung, I can disable all apps running while I'm playing a game. My performance and ability to see is about the same. It is sharper on my phone and a bit more smooth. The Switch is a dedicated console though, and comes with added benefits with not having to set everything up for optimal play.
