    The sheer amount of muscle around Liu Hao’s torso makes it look like he’s fat but he’s not

    How frequently should someone like a sprinter olympic lift a week?

    • @jonathanstenger9179
      @jonathanstenger9179 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m a sprinter. It really depends on the time of your season. But generally speaking you do it on average once a week. We only stick to power cleans and power snatches.

      Here’s a fun (and silly) video kinda explaining how to incorporate cleans for sprinters. Hope it helps! Cheers 🍻

    The Polish lifter at 5:12. His clean was his worst portion in my opinion. he cleaned it for sure, but he could've had a little more speed coming out of the bottom. His split jerk was flawless though. I don't think I've seen anyone with a better jerk than clean. what about anyone else?

    • @molohov3875

      There are definitely some lifters with much better jerks than their cleans. Two world and olympic champions come to mind: Kianoush Rostami and Deng Wei. Both often get pinned in their cleans during their world record attempts, yet their jerks are elastic and seemingly easy.
      In my opinion, the point is to make the jerk, not make the clean pretty :)

      Patrick E. He has unreal explosive strength. Lol also former Olympic champion, it looks like his pull style is focused on getting as much height as possible. You'll notice he meets most his snatches and cleans high then rides them down. Almost like hes trying to power everything. In the clean, he over pulls a bit but it seems to work for him as he easily jerks the weight.
