    After watching Clarence bomb out I thought this: He is one of few from a non-Eastern European weightlifting powerhouse country, and was self trained for the majority of his life. He's the biggest badass there.

    Clarence,
    I'm from the U.S. and am (like many over here) extremely inspired and motivated by what you do. I understand your goal to lift independent of support, but just know that if you included a donation button on your page - you will have the financial backing of the world behind you.

    You should be so incredibly proud of all you have accomplished. Don't let one competition get you down. Injured you're better than most, next year healthy, you're going to do amazing things. Keep your head up man.

    Clarence, your lifts motivate me. Your videos are examples of the potential someone our size has and I wanted to thank you for showing that potential. I've only just begun training o-lifts and I'll do my best to catch up to you. In the meantime, I'll laugh too at the comments the ignorant make. They only think what we do is impossible because of their ignorance. Who cares anyway, the only thing that matters is besting yourself. Those others are already losing to themselves and their lack of info

      Hard to call him a world class powerlifter when he literally never practices the powerlifting squat. 302 for his weightclass is probably the world record for an ATG fully raw pause squat but I don't really see a federation fucking measuring for that.

    • @HikoSeijuroXIII

      He said he quit weightlifting because he hurt himself because he exercised all day every day and then after recovering he realized you don't have to do that, just train smarter. Good for him I say, top bloke.

    Good fight clarence! Really big openers compared to what we're used to seeing from you. Don't know if that's because people are lifting simular weights to yours allowing for bigger rest intervals or that the contest got the best of you. A lot of people missed weights in the C&J.
    Not to be an internet wiseguy but I think next time you'll be more mentally prepared. Looking forward to future videos of you competing!

  • @chadcite

    Good point, in anything you do, if you have a ambitious goal, there will certainly be alot more days with headaches. That's the nature of the game, you grind for months just to get an inch (I'm a thrower) or 1 kg, but its worth the glory just for that moment. No glory without struggle.

  • @kraftsportNO
    @kraftsportNO 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    No, I didn't have fun lifting 263kg. In fact I felt pretty much like shit. I've been doing a lot of frequent high intensity training the last months, and that's not fun at all. But I've decided I want to be strong, and then this is what I do. On the stage, it's not a moment of fun, it's more a moment of work. But true, if you're too tense, it may affect the outcome, so you need to be relaxed and confident. Fun is watching a comedy, lifting is fun maybe less than 30% of the time. :)

    i just play powerlifting to build a strong body and to have fun
    i saw your channel. nice squats and good weights
    but, for example, you cant tell me you didnt have fun lifting those 263kg in the last video
    clarence is already strong. i think his body is way stronger than his ''mind''
