I’m a flight attendant and the one thing I always suggest with flying with toddlers and babies is to make sure they have something to chew on whether it be snacks or a toy once the plane begins to descend! Those ears get congested and that makes them cry the most. Also you’ll be amazed how much a simple cup of ice blows their mind when they’re restless!

My son is now 15 months old and I’ve stayed in several hotels with him, which he has not enjoyed! There was not enough room for him and it was super hard to entertain him! I’ve stayed in a lake house on vacation with him as well and it was so much more spacious and fun for him 😊

was so hoping you'd vlog this!! i'd suggest self catered whilst she's still young and crawling- means you have the comfort of having everything around you and it's easier to find foods she will eat instead of relying on the hotel catering. resort holidays are better when she can enjoy swimming pools and slides. regarding passports you can still get them back within 3/4 weeks so still okay for summer if you get it done quickly!
My parents used to take me to the other side of the country as a baby (first trip I was about 5 months old), and we would stay in my grandparents house. Id personally recommend booking something a little more private (house/cottage/villa). Aside from the fact that you get to spread out more, you get assurance that if she is fussy during the night/you have a hard time getting her to sleep (perhaps because of the time difference) it wont disturb any potential room neighbors. Also 2 of my biggest travel recommendations when traveling with a little one is to bring portable blackout shades (I've seen some that have suction cups to the window) so baby can sleep, and a play yard that serves as a pop up crib, potential changing table, and smaller zone for her to play when you are maybe answering some emails nearby (depends on what type of play yard/ pack n play you get, some even have music or mobiles).
I cannot tell you how much I have missed this and needed this. I have been so busy this week between work, uni, my practicum / internship and a huge final thesis and this just made my day!!!
Zoe come to Croatia! Islands of Brač, Hvar, Mljet, Pag, Krk or the peninsula of Istra are full of beautiful resorts and we are on the most beautiful see of Adriatc. You can't go wrong!!

We just traveled to Italy with our 9 month old and stayed in a villa. We loved it. It was amazing to have more room than just a hotel room and to be able to go outside without needing to pack lots of stuff for the baby since you could just pop in if you needed anything. Also made it easier to have a rented car and explore.

I definitely think getting a villa will be the best idea! I grew up in villas with my younger brother and after having gone to apartment complexes/hotels recently, I definitely think villas would be easier and safer? with a baby! I also recommend Lanzarote as a destination - specifically costa teguise. Lanzarote is such a lovely island with enough different villages/towns that its easy enough to jump in the car and go to any town. Lanzarote is small enough but spread out enough that you can be in one town and still feel like you are somewhere completely different in the town 15 minutes down the road! Hope that helps :)

We've vacationed with friends who have kids and they always go to the resorts but get a multi bedroom suite or in some resorts they even have villa options. That way they get the amenities of being at a resort but the space (living rooms, multiple bedrooms etc) and privacy of being in a villa.
Highly recommend getting a little villa or airbnb. I think you'll find that you'd rather end up saying "This was too much room for us" than end up saying "This is not enough room" and not being able to change rooms or something. My bro and SIL saved the adventuring holidays for when the kids were older and more active, so the first 3 holidays with kids, they got airbnb's at places they've been to already and loved and used those vacations as a time to relax and chill. Lounging, eating, swimming, shopping, napping, took the kids on a couple hikes that they slept through, but it was really a time to just get away.
I wish the birth of my daughter was filmed! It was such an amazing experience for me, I’d love to look back and remember it more vividly. 💕 amazing what the body can do.
Back in March I visited England for the first time from the states and I went to Brighton. I was so excited because I’ve seen Zoe and co walk all around in the past and I can see things as they walked around that I saw too. So cool. I didn’t spend nearly enough time exploring Brighton though. Was only there for a day for a concert, I ate at this restaurant called ohSo social beach bar and restaurant. They have outside igloos I sat in. Amazing I got to watch the sun set on the beach as I jammed to the band I was about to see, The Wanted, on a Bluetooth stereo they had set up in the igloo. Amazing trip.
Best advice on traveling days is let go of all expectations. Just go with the flow. I thing staying in house with a baby is nicer because they go to bed so early and you can feel trapped in a hotel with not much to do.
Zoe I’d REALLY recommend looking up Cassis in south of France. Alfie would love the sea kayaking in the calonques, lovely beach and beautiful views and vineyards. A huge cliff with beautiful views you can drive up. A lot of reasonable air bnbs with infinity pools and easy day trips to Marseille etc! ❤️
I just got back from a 7 night cruise to Norway with an 8 month. It was really easy and they had sensory classes everyday and she could try lots of new food too.
Villa 100% You can get free cots and high chairs included in some places, a safety pool net around the pool if ottie is crawling and exploring! You’ll have much more freedom than a resort i think personally
My parents took me on my first holiday at 9 months, we were in a resort. They bought a paddling pool for me to sit in next to their sun loungers and i was quite happy apparently and as for feeding her and stuff theirs always microwaves and everything you just have to as the staff xx

Obviously I've not been to the south of France (although it is somewhere I myself would like to explore) just an idea. With ferries you can take your own car (not sure what electric car charging stations they have available) and you can take dogs to most gites too I believe
come to Palm Springs! Definitely should wait till like Jan or Feb but I think you'll LOVE it. The hotels are so midcentury and it feels like ol' school Hollywood without the huge crowds. There is hiking in Joshua Tree and the lift to the mountain and the amazing views and awesome midcentury tours. I can't recommend it enough! If you have any questions I live about 45mins from there so I would love to help with any information that I can. :D
Not a mother but I did work over a decade in resort hotels and overnight. Every single time we had a family with small children/ older babies stay they got pretty stressed. Neighbors complaining about late night crying (which I guess happened more then at home because baby was in new space and feeling unsure?) or the parents complaining about the neighbors keeping the baby up. Just a lot of suddenly being overly aware of other people and not having the privacy and freedom they were use to at home, and that the baby was use to. So I’ve heard (from parents) that a house rental or at least a private detached villa is better until the kids are slightly older. But again, I have zero personal experience so 🤷♀️😂

I have a family friend who owns an amazing villa in the south of France that's open for guests it's so quiet and beautiful with a pool on site.
