My only guess about the The Fear, is that non-lethal damage is being calculated while the lethal damage gets added. So, the non-lethal damage just includes the lethal damage as additional non-lethal damage. Might have something to do with the stunned animation happening when the booby-trap log hits him. Again, this is just my guess.
The routing and skill displayed is really phenomenal here. Loved The End fight, had to laugh when you pulled out the mic to check whether the frog has been hit or not.
