I think it's interesting to see each criminal's way of justifying their actions in this mission. Franklin believes he's still fighting the dirty private militia, Trevor just likes killing, Chef believes strongly that all of them are corrupt to the point of paying off the military. and Michael tells himself that Trevor is right and gets it done.

Eight million dollar take and the destruction cost in the first thirty seconds outweighed that. Over a dozen squad cars destroyed, two NOOSE vans, a helicopter, three patriots, a barracks ol, a bulldozer, an entire gas station, most of a motel, three wooden fences, an entire pool, a construction site, and the interior of a food processing plant. Plus, I suppose, some of the armor of one tank.

2.2 million? What is that, in space cash? There is no way that the amount gained from the heist scratches the collateral damage. They even destroyed the same type of helo that they were doing the job to buy! Plus, life insurance for the casualties alone!

This mission is still one of the greatest experiences I've ever had in video gaming. I will never forget the first time I played this! What a Saturday night!
I love this heist out of all. I mean you think that with a bank out in the middle of nowhere and relaxed security, you can't help but think "this is easy." Then you have to deal with the police, then the swat team, and finally the f-ing military. I love the escalation of aggression with this mission xD

this mission is based on the North Hollywood shootout references are when michael says the suits they wear weigh 50 pounds which is what the robberers armor resemble and at 18:55 when Chef says the police thinks theres more than one of him there was a search for hours of the possible third gunman but there never was one
Difference is, North Hollywood left both robbers dead, and all 18 others injured including cops and civilians survived.

Advice to all. Get the mission done asap. Redo it later for the medals. You can loose a lot of money here if you suck at it.
Time for Paleto Score depending on the gunmen you picked in the heist briefing during the douser scene it will decide your outcome. If you pick Chef he will mention a stickup he and Trevor did and Trevor and Mikey will mentioned the North Yankton Cash Depot robbery which was botched. If you pick McReary he will mention the Liberty City Bank Job and mention why he is the best. If you pick Gus he will mention the job he did in Chinatown Wars also a good pick. If you made the foolish decision by picking Daryl he will botch the robbery and will get ran over by a cop car and will be killed while picking Norm for this job will get him ran over and crushed rending him paralyzed. Do not pick these guys pick only McReary, Chef, or Gus do not pick Daryl or Norm they are idiots.
Correct Me if I'm Wrong. But Both Packie and Chef Cost a Little More then Norm and Daryl's Casualty Expenses. Also, Those 2, Especially Daryl is Going to be Very Cost Effective During the Last 2 Heists ( The Roof Option and the Obvious Option Respectively ).
@@eagleye2893 still you don't want to pay hazard pay you can lose your take if someone gets killed thats why I said never go with Norm for Jewelry Store. Picking the bad gunman leads to hazard pay and you lose half the take always go with pros on these jobs.

Let Me Be Clear:
The Vid for Biggest Payouts and All the Heist Crew Members Highlights that Picking Packie Instead of Norm for the Jewel Heist is Reasonably Fine.
It's the Paleto Bay, Where You Gotta Start Cutting Your Loses with Norm. Since His Casualty Expenses For This Particular Heist Outranks the Cut Packie and Chef Gets. Also, Daryl Costs Way Less in the Roof Option for the Bureau Heist, So That's Another Reason to Pick Norm for Paleto.
Combining Daryl and Welsh for the Gunmen, and Taliana and Karim as Drivers for the Obvious Option of the Last Heist. And Your Practically Swimming in Cash.

The money they stole was the deposit "dirty" money of the cops. Trevor mentioned it earlier while casing the joint that the money was taken from local whore houses, meth-cocaine factories. They guarded dirty money. Ofcourse they won't leak this to the media

Oh yea I know that shootout it was based on it because on the 2 suspects but in GTA V a lot of cops and army guys got killed that was I wanted to imagine that in real life.

Besides, the act does not include the National Guard. It is perfectly reasonable to assume that the units sent into Paleto Bay were from the National Guard and operated under the direct order from the governor.
