Which commander would you recommend for someone who starts playing this game mode?

Easiest would be a generalist like Raynor.
If you want a micro heavy commander, Tychus is the best. Mengsk is also quite versatile.
Key is to pay attention to the unit you build vs what they build (armour type vs attack type).
