*BEASTY TRANSFER* Ride on Arriva Midlands ADL Enviro400, 4401 (YY14 LHE) - Route 127

Here we have a ride on a lovely recently transferred E400, this is Arriva Midlands' 4401 on the 127 to Shepshed Bull Ring from Leicester St Margarets Bus Station doing to what is now it's usual allocations on 127s. This and 4400 have recently transferred from Milton Keynes as part replacement for the withdrawn DB250s and Olympuses that transferred down to Luton and Milton Keynes with 4115 now joining back with 4111-4112
Both 4400 and 4401 were new to Derby in 2014 spending there first few years in the Midlands, having a two year spell with Aylesbury until transferring to Milton Keynes but due to Thurmastons decker shortage they have recently come in
For a 14 reg, 4401 is absolutely lovely showing surprisingly some great power up the A6 hill in Birstall and some speed, now I wish the YX64s were like this with the Sapphire branding and interior
Anyways, enjoy this nice first run on 4401 and hopefully I get 4400 soon.

They are lovely, it would have been great if our YX64s were like this, maybe they would have been better.

It wasn't a loan to Aylesbury. It spent nearly 2 years there

It may have seemed to struggle up Birstall hill but once it got going it was good, it did the Mountsorrel hill like nothing.
