It really is a lot of work but like you said it’s a lot of fun cutting and splitting wood. I found the same problem with recording. I never noticed how often planes fly overhead or how often my neighbors mow their lawns until I started recording.

It is crazy. Areas near the cities typically are more though. In central MA it’s more like $250/cord. I can’t blame sellers for going up though. Takes a lot of fuel to make and deliver firewood. Thanks for watching and commenting 🙏

Good point. It’s definitely a commonly done option. I’ve never bought log length, but I can see the allure for many people.
