    Mr. Cool, you and Rich Baum are the reason why I was able to perform well at my job. Thank you so much for these videos.

    For those wondering about the light switch behind the camera: Removing it would not fall into the realm of misrepresentation, since it is not a "property affecting" item. As a rule for MLS listings, if an item could possibly affect the buying decision, then it should be left as-is; however, those things would be like a crack in the wall, water stains on the ceiling, etc., that could devalue a property, but not a light switch in a hallway that is caught in the reflection of a mirror. Now if it wasn't a light switch and I covered up a hole, or a switch that was missing its plate, then that might be a concern, but an operational light switch is not. Bear in mind that all properties (at least sold in the U.S.) have a seller disclosure, also known as a Property Disclosure, which includes things the seller is aware of that could devalue the property. Never, in all of my years of doing this (and buying and selling homes) has anyone ever questioned if a light switch was missing in a hallway. Additionally...if you're still not convinced by now that this is a rather silly rabbit hole to nit pick into...home inspections will test all light switches and outlets, and look for things that may be broken, like a light switch cover missing or cracked, but not one that is there and functioning properly but just didn't show in the pictures. So long story short: It's OK to leave the hall light switch out of the image :)

    Thanks, Nathan! I wish I saw this last week. I opted to just crop in and lose the second sink. Can't tell you how many times I did that. Never had a complaint, but "we" know, right?

      You're welcome! I wouldn't recommend cropping in like you mentioned and lose a sink...dual sinks are big selling features for bathrooms.

    Hello Nathan
    Firs of all , thank u for sharing these genius stuff , your channel one of the favorites in real state photography info
    i wanna ask u about your lens , tokina 16-28mm , is it available to Canon Cameras ?
    and , do u think that full frame cameras are the best for real state photography or not ?
    thank u

      @NathanCoolPhoto  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, available for Canon. To learn more about what lens, camera, or other gear I recommend for REP I'd suggest taking a look at my e-book on interiors, and possibly others in my series. These explain the whys, not just the whats, to help you make a better decision that would fit your needs. Here's a link you'd like to check that out: amzn.to/2VkV6AE

    This is a little off topic if that's ok. A room with no windows, very little light, very dark, maybe one 25 watt bulb!! Just run with a VERY long shutter??

    How can you remove the camera in a video?

    • @NathanCoolPhoto
      @NathanCoolPhoto  ปีที่แล้ว

      You don't, but you don't need to. Instead: keep the camera low; or use a photo and animate/zoom in the timeline; or track the area with a gaussian blur on a masked adjustment layer.
