Thanks, it was filmed on an early DV camcorder that I’d brought the previous day on Broadway, it had just come out! This upload is direct from the original 17gb capture file so has only been re-coded by TH-cam when uploaded. Agreed phone cameras took 10yrs to catch up quality wise!
@@TEEDUBS You misunderstood my comment. My point is there's a lot of VHS home movie recordings that are even worse than flip-phone recordings. But for 1998, this particular video is exceptionally very good. I could reference plenty of VHS recordings that are abysmal and almost unwatchable. And there's also the fact that VHS videos are often uploaded in 240p or even 144p.

Thanks, it was shot on an early JVC DV camera, DV was very new at the time, so much so the footage was stuck on tape for years as it didn't have a firewire out!!!
I was born in 1992 and i remember 9/11 footage on the news and a helicopter recording the second plane hitting . . I thought it was apvie and wemt to show my mom and dad and they freaked out and said "omg were under attack" this was aweful to see as a child. People were joing to theor deaths and you could HEAR them hit the ground..
wish they didn’t fall so then i could see videos of people going inside them, like this one, but i already know what they look like in both of them because of roblox games they really just built it and it got destroyed
It is interesting to think that twin towers were built on very strong structures. If the jet hit the upper floors of the building, it would be understandable if that part collapsed due to the fire and flames, but both buildings collapsed like old buildings. It seems that the United States wanted the same thing. Iraq became a justification for attacking Afghanistan
What you describe here, is more cartoon than physics, especially at the south tower. If the part over the impact zone once is on its way, what do expect? That it bounces off, and the part below stands more less as if nothing happened? Especially at the north tower the upper part isnt looking that much, i know. But on has to be aware of the dimensions of the towers. That part still contains about 10 to 15 floors. Lets estimate this to 40 to 60 metres of scyscraper crashing into the lower sections. In fact, especially at the north tower, significant structures below the impact zone remained intact and just fell portion by portion after the main rubble was already down. Thats what you call a progressive collaps. The motivation of justifying war in the east is not plausible for bringing the towers down. Lets dream that the towers would not have fallen. Then anyway thousands of people would have been killed and there would have been also a reason for the justification as you say. Regarding this and much more, a demolition or a similar sabotage act is very unlikely.
Still can't get over how 200 people took the brave decision to jump from floors just below this. Just shows how tall these buildings really were.
