For me Alpine will be in a "no man’s land" between the third and de fifth. The driver line up is pretty solid and alpine show us an agressive development campaign last year. Maybe i'm to much patriotic ahah 🇫🇷🇫🇷 but i'm optimist about Alpine tbh
I worry a bit for Pierre. He performs best when he is surrounded by a family supporting him. Ocon and Szafnauer are the opposite of that. Szafnauer was very unprofessional last season throwing people under the bus showing he is not a good leader particularly when there are teammates rivalry. The potential of Force India were impressive, they are struggling after the new Aston buyout, the potential is still there once everything is synchronized, so I have higher expectation from them over Renault. But Lance Stroll is holding back the potential of the team. If they want to be successful in the new era they need to sign a committed youngster and have a team built around him, sooner than later, and Stroll isn't it. The other thing I'm looking for is Lewis vs Max round 2. 2021 was extremely toxic and I allowed myself to dwell a bit too much in that. With better maturity now, particularly this post-pandemic has been tough on everyone and forces self reassessment, I won't allow myself to get sucked and participate in that toxicity again. But I am paying to watch racing, so I want to see some good battle between these two. As for McLaren somehow I am not feeling they are moving forward, the Honda rumor is exciting, but they need someone (like Newey) or put together an incredible team in other to create a great chasis. I disagree with their philosophy about building an overall "fast" car even if it is entirely against the driving style of their drivers, I think the car has to be built around their drivers and have wider operating window. I predict more and even closer racing in the mid and back of the field. The cost cap doesn't help upturn the status quo at the front, but maybe it does bring the mid field closer together.
my prediction is that Charles Leclerc will get better towards the end of the season as he has some maturing to do as we saw last year he bottled multiple races he could have won

Yeah he’s got the pace but still a few errors, let’s just hope the Ferrari is quick enough to fight for wins
The only race he bottled where he could have win was france, the only other race mistake he made was in imola and he was 3rd
