Oh well. I wanted to invest a little so I bought 35$ Bazaar Exclusive I, II and III - got respect items for commanders I do not plan to level up - so thank you but what is the result? The game completely ignored wishlist and when purchasing Supreme (Mythic) respect items it gave me Galadriel and Haradrim Lady on the Warg. So yeah I can happily dismantle 3 supreme items to get 1 Uruk-Hai Scribling I need to level up Saruman.....
It sounds petty, but what ended being the last nail in the coffin for me was that you have to pvp to lvl up to 50. If a team has a slow start to the season, or is just further away from their eventual enemies, they'll have such a hard time bridging that gap if they go up against teams that had a lot of fighting early on. Sure, players can also lvl up through friendly pvp, but that's not necessarily what we need as the end of a season is weeks of friendly pvp most of the times anyways. Just leads to more imbalance, and less incentive for newer players that don't have the same gear or respect lvl as older players to get involved. And I'm saying that as one of those long-time players. My heart always breaks for newer players that try really hard but cannot compete with more developed accounts, then having a new mechanic that makes it even more difficult for them.

The idea behind the Manuscript items _might_ be to hand out items that cannot get exchanged to other commanders' respect items. But we'll see when the update gets rolled out.
Great news. Thanks for the info ATME. Not perfect timing on the update as my pvp team grinds near lvl 44... just to see "45 is the new 40". Whatevz. Great fix going forward. 10 levels to advance by pvp was too much imo.
tbh, finally something apparently good. I still want something similar to the previous vouchers method. we get plenty of t1/t2 items so unecessary that they need to let us convert to higher vouchers.
I'm hoping the respect gifts are actually gifts and not just automatically added to my current commanders because for example I don't use king of the dead so if they just add it to it it will be a waste for me. I don't care about visuals especially since healing isn't fixed, ascension needs to decrease or gone, and the exchange is ridiculous. Boromir getting a shield is ridiculous not only because it makes no sense no one uses him.
I hope all these changes keep old players and bring more players to the game. The number of people giving up is huge and at the rate that in some time there will be no more players available to play RP because of such bad changes.

I'm happy for the exp scrolls. I asked once the support about it. Bcz the level differences in pvp vs whales were too big

edit: exquisite experience scrolls will be available for sweeping upon reaching certain server progress

Manuscripts are for me, like 1 Respect item.
