There was a Disney Pixar animated movie last year called Luca about a boy who makes friends with a sea monster who can turn himself into a human form. It is a story about friendship, but there were people who wanted to call it a boy/boy romance. Some people liked this. Some didn't. Of course the rainbow radicals said it should have been even more gay. I suspect the Disney executives did intend for it to be gay, but thankfully the movie is still vague on this point.

Also, John Lassetter is a bit of a creep, and Disney / Pixar only “fired” him because it might look bad for business if they don’t. They and everyone in that industry are still buddies with him.

I was avoiding this film like the plague when it first came out because I saw posts of people MAKING IT SEEM like there was LGBT themes in it but my aunt invited me to go see it and I thought you know what lemme just see how bad this film is and make my own judgment
I was pleasantly surprised that it was NORMAL and I enjoyed it just as much as the first! The crazies fooled me into thinking it was a LGBT film when it wasn’t at all

Disney realized people ain't buying or paying to watch any of their content huh. Well that's a good start. But unfortunately they're 5 years too late. They had their chance to take feedback and address people's complaints of the direction of their projects including their live action Remakes. But they attacked and gaslighted the fans too long to the point, no one trusts or will ever trust them again. This is the same thing with Konami with the Metal Gear licenses. After the fallout with Kojima, I don't think they can get people to retrust them as much anymore. You gaslight and attack people long enough only to realize years later, you need your audience, the damage is already done. Disney has completely blead that well Dry. I don't trust them anymore. They're dead to me now. At least that's what I think.
Either other studios will learn from this or they will choose to die on the hill.

There was a Disney Pixar animated movie last year called Luca about a boy who makes friends with a sea monster who can turn himself into a human form. It is a story about friendship, but there were people who wanted to call it a boy/boy romance. Some people liked this. Some didn't. Of course the rainbow radicals said it should have been even more gay. I suspect the Disney executives did intend for it to be gay, but thankfully the movie is still vague on this point.
