A pop filter would work and also changing the included filter which is a little on the short side makes a difference. Having said that I really do like the tone of this microphone especially for the price . Bought it for 40 euros the price of taking my family to MC Donald's
I have the same mic but usb version. In have have o problem! My mic volume is very low.. Windows mic set to max 100 % at the mic buttons pres max++. And not helping. I buyed sound card and connected with xlr cable. same thing! low volume!. You can speak far away and its very loud! For my mic i cant you have to eat this mic to speak normaly. at the moment im using EQ apo and set gain to 8... becouse its imposible to use...
@@BacktotheRetroReview if i go to record tab mics imput is set to 100 and to micraphone stil very qiet! the mic gain is very low.. is like in this video the same. you can se the diferences th-cam.com/video/tcrT3KgR9Ww/w-d-xo.html it is the imput low. but strange then i monitoring obs it pics at the red.. but sounds and feel gain low sorry for my english
@Dilzze so I think the problem with the usb version is that the monitoring on the mic you can not adjust the headphones volume. I would trust the input levels in obs if the input is peaking too high

You are correct, I do not use the included wind screen. I use after market sm7b foam wind screens with this micrograms as they fit perfect

Is the input low or just the volume in your headphones when monitoring?
