Stealth ships and detection ships seem really important for smaller groups/solo ventures. I hope we see a stealth Corvette at some point in the future.
I think you guys are crazy to not bring a Reclaimer or Vulture, at least. You're going in to kill things and then you're just going to leave all the loot behind? How are you going to pay for all of this? Missions aren't going to pay enough. Plus, it's not like Reclaimers are defenseless.
I think the Starfarer will be essential, especially for the first two fleets. Managing all those solo fighters in a single Polaris hangar is asking a lot when its designed to support a single craft on board (or perhaps two).
My group is set, we all are pretty practiced in most things. The real issue is are we all going to be alined with the same faction or what the end game is
After CitCon24 my approach to my fleet has completely shifted to a progression of Crew1 -> Solo+Blades -> Self Crew4. If I want to play multi, I’ll join someone else’s vehicle. Everything In my fleet will be under warranty and stuff I’ll enjoy with nothing “Earned in game”
The community needs more people to come to this conclusion. As someone who has an extensive fleet, I too will almost always jump on someone else's ship first if given the option. Being part of a crew and just taking on whatever dumbshit SC or other players throw at us is the best, and being the "captain" does not make it any more fun.
@ so I built my , still unapplied, chains from, not on LTI tokens, but instead game packs (some with LTI, but more capped at 10y). Also I now have 5 accounts and I’m thinking to get a 6th the next time a referral vehicle is offered and dedicate each account to a different guild. So while Im grinding rep on one to unlock the blueprints I most want, I’ll just bed log an alt on someone’s multi crew to cut down on the time sink of gathering everyone up. Hopefully friends “Possessing” my extra digital downloads will one day be a thing
Hi Inforunners, When they are finally out i always think the Liberator and Crucible will be the backbone of a really good in-space base in places like Pyro. Fly the Liberator to the middle ( literally) of nowhere, then fly in a small ship to collect your Crucially back to where the Liberator is. Parked side by side you can fly off in a Prospector, small fighter, Vulture, Terrapin etc and back to unload and do any maintenance and/or repairs. What do you reckon ? Good plan for solo/small group players?
I would have 7 ships that is it. 22 people. 1 Carrack + medi picies and a ursa. 1 Polaris + 4 Arrows in the Polaris and 2 nursa Done. You can carry the arrows in the Polaris so fuel is not an issue. You can go FAR further than Exe fleet.
I think 100% of the SC community has fallen prey to hype. Good and bad hype. Pyro will be dangerous, but it's also too big to be infested with griefers around every corner. I think our hypothetical fleets will ultimately collapse under individual player boredom and profitability. We are going to have to find out what actually works by trial and error.
Amen. I enjoy the theory crafting, building fleets in fleet viewer, etc. a handful will get the experience they're imagining. They have infinite free time to be around and organize these 40 man org fleets and maybe there will be gameplay there, and maybe there will be another group to even engage and actually make use of the fleet you've gathered and everyone gets to do their little jobs. Maybe the winners of this engagement will even be able to make some sort of income by doing all this. More often than not, the day to day for most players dreaming up all this stuff will probably be disappointing.
I love the Perseus, but I don't understand why it's in here at all. Same goes for all the ships not in the game currently. Doesn't seem to fit the title at all.
What game are these guys playing 😂. Half of the things they want to bring to Pyro haven’t got loops in game. What are they exploring? Pyro is mapped already. Who’s crewing these ships? Every player has a fleet they want to crew. Maybe I’m totally missing the point of this, is it like a fantasy football type of thing? They take a total of a 50 man crew full of multicrew ships and I’ll bring 50 friends in buccaneers. Nice knowing you 😂. Anyone who doesn’t understand the power of the buccaneer. Get 6 reasonably decent pilots and a multicrew Polaris with a crew of 8. Jump into arena commander and let me know the outcome.
Thanks for having me Exe, hope y'all enjoy this one!
I think it would be kinda funny and scary to roll up with 6 Perseus ships.
Guys, are you trying to take over Pyro or just venture there? 😂
Yeah should really declare minimum crew with your fleet choice.

Looks awesome and the crew count is manageable, someone should try this!
I love this type of videos

The notion of the Freelancer MIS as a logistical "runner" ship running between fleets or back to Stanton is clever. I would not have thought of that.

I would say my org is ready. the day the CARRACK came out, our org counted 32 of them. I don't even know any more.
What website or program is used to visualize fleet building is this?
I really think with these types of videos you should be working on fleets based on 3/6/12/24 people, the common "raid" groups in MMO's.
I always thought the Starfarer would have its home in Pyro. But having alle the fuel, everywhere, at all times makes the ship totally obsolete.
In the short term it will definitely be limited. It's definitely a ship to hold on to for the long haul if you've got one.
o7

Could you do one for pyro launch? I think that would look very different
Carrack is a death trap in pyro, one f8c and ur dead
Carrack needs pdcs
What are you talking about.. 🤔
The polaris has a capitol radar.. Have they not got it set up properly or somthing..?
''Meta''?, avoid anyone who uses this word
