Who uses vga in this day and age. Wake up Lenovo. You mentioned that the 32 gig memory is soldered in. Since they only offer one sku of this PC why would you want to upgrade. Also 32gig of memory is a lot and most users will not need more. For those users, who need more, would probably purchase a different model or brand PC. Any way another great review.
Aside from the convertible feature on the Yoga model, the main differences between the 9i Slim and the Yoga 9i seem to be the rotating soundbar, the special keys on the right side of the keyboard and the max RAM (16gb vs 32gb). The glass top is not available on the Yoga model but it has one USB-A port in addition to three USB-C ports. The 9i Yoga has pen support, a pen is provided. The bezels seem to be a bit larger on the Yoga model but that may be just my perception. I can say that I am a little disappointed in the bezel width on the Yoga, Lenovo has done better in the past. Lenovo pricing usually drops pretty quickly. The Yoga 9i OLED was around $1900 when released in June, within a week or so it dropped to around $1750 and when Best Buy began stocking it in July the price was $1350. BB pricing is usually lower than buying direct from Lenovo. Recently, BB was selling the 9i 4k OLED 1tb 60hz for $100 less than the 9i 2.8k OLED 512gb 90hz version! Watching movies on a streaming service, like NF and Prime is pretty darn amazing with the 9i 4k OLED screen, as long as its viewed using the service's app, streaming in a browser is downright awful. HBOMAX doesn't have an app for PC but watching the first episode of HOTD in a Chrome browser looked clear and bright.
Just to add a bit. The Slim 9i has 2 big fans while the Yoga 9i has one big fan and one small fan. This gives it the edge in performance. But not just that, but it has better default Power Limits compared to the Yoga 9i. Also, it has an Intel Arc dGPU A350M option coming soon, don't know when. Keep the reviews up, its actually nice to see someone actually mentioning the Adobe RGB colour space for the screens
If you're looking for more power, 9i & above will be your best choice as 7i carbon uses intel's U chipset which leans towards battery efficiency than power, more geared towards office & business use which mostly revolves around excel, word, powerpoint etc etc. Can do photoshop but I don't think it'll be as nice as processors ending with H & G could do
