Hi Clarise, thanks for this great video. To make important choices when under a lot of stress is critical. When we do not have proper food nor water for long periods of time is the ultimate challenge. I know people that was extreamly poor (about 70 odd years ago). They do not have land nore a house, and then ask land owners if they could build a house on their land. We had a family like that on our farm in my grandfather's era. They had to walk where they would like to go. Walking with a knapsak (a backpack made from goat skin) for about 50 to 70km in hash weather conditions. They do not have proper clothing nor shoes. They could walk without shoes almost everywhere. I like to try to make my own experience. Every December holiday I challenge myself in nature, fasting for 2 days then take on a nice long hike and make it as uncomfortable as possible. Like taking my knapsak as backpack and packing my calf hide and nguni bull hide for my sleeping system. The knapsak give bad rash and feel after a few km that my arms want to fall off. Than having a overnighter in nature with just the hides. The next day I hike back. After about 3 days without food and the hiking, I appriciate all the small things when back at home. I enjoy this as it help to overcome a lot of hard times, like the 70 to 100 hour weeks when studing and working full time. Thank for all your time you put into this videos and help others to live ready. Have a great weekend. Hugo
Hi Hugo, thanks so much for sharing your story. It's a good reminder for us to be grateful for everything we have. And we need to continually challenge ourselves as you do so that we don't become complacent.
The video is excellent! It's amazing how often I am reminded just how much value these experiences are. Both from the things that we learn and perform, and also the amazing people we get to become so fond of in a relatively short time. You are awesome!
Thanks Arlan! I've been going around telling your story every time there's a bottle of Tabasco in the room. It was really awesome meeting you, let me know if ever you're around again and stay safe!
@@LiveReady I have taken a similar class, but mine was not as long as the one you completed. Anyone can get through a few days of inconvenience, but to “survive” as long as you did in this course must give you a very special feeling of accomplishment. CONGRATULATIONS!
I advise you to read the book The Great Contreversy froM E. G Write which is a book written in the19 and which calls us to prepare for the great tribulation. It's a great youtube chanel !!! I don't think we should eat unclean animales. I strongly beileve that as Jesus sent the manna in the desert for the Israelite people, Jesus will also feed us during this period.
Lekker!! Thanks for sharing and congratulations again on your STASA certification.
May you enrich many more lives with lifesaving skills.
Thanks Nelis! I hope you're having a super weekend!
