Yes Jio was the reason why other telecom companies lowered the rates of internet plans which helped a normal person access more of it at an affordable price.

The problem with people is they don't see his own efforts to grow his business. His elder brother Anil Ambani who also received a decent share of the business couldn't do much and his brother Mukesh Ambani had to bail him out by paying the money Anil had to give others. So when you own a billion dollar business it also depends on the person how he does it.
I'm a person who believes that charity is good and it's good only when it's limited. You should give people more opportunities to earn money rather than giving them more charity.

Then he ended the internet grievances and made data unlimited and gave so many indian entrepreneurs a platform to go digital. After 2020, he is one of the reasons we are coping with this pandemic. Giving away money doesn't always help in the long run. Creating technology and jobs does.

The government said there is no oil to be found. They lease it to the Ambanis and oil is struck the next day. You think there is no corruption involved. That said that is a fact of life. Corruption is a part of business it seems. However the charity Ambanis do pales in comparison to what the Tatas did for the country.

The home is ostentatious and not something I would build even if I was rich. However, some facts about the slum. It's a deeply political issue and most of the 'slum dwellers' actually don't want to leave because of the high rent pet Sq. Ft in Mumbai. There's quite a few documentaries made and articles written on it.
"In Dharavi, where Slumdog Millionaire was filmed, thousands of small businesses thrive. The slum has an informal economy with an estimated $1 billion annual turnover.
Residents have opposed attempts to develop Dharavi, which sits on prime real estate in India’s financial capital, Mumbai.
