Great video. Thanks for sharing. Between Royal Uno and Royal Sands, which one did you guys like the most?
We enjoyed both:) But probably for our tastes we would go with Royal Uno. Lots more activities during the day, entertainment at night, more restaurants…you really never have to leave if you don’t want to. The Sands is very beautiful and relaxing but you definitely have to find other things to do and places to eat….both are great vacations depending on the vibe you’re looking for!

There were a couple restaurants that had steak by special request. But not on the menu… I would give the food a 7 out of 10:) Pretty good and lots of variety!

Not this year! Last year we went to Isla Muheres….just enjoyed the beach and resort this year…plenty to do! 😊

They have their own transport company in the hotel, but you are responsible to make the arrangements, as you are free to choose whoever you’d like:)
Ive been searching for a hotel for our next trip in July. We been doing cruises, so it's our first vacay in the land, lol.. With this video, i feel like it's my # 1 choice now. Thank you so much. Question, tho?

Yes all food and drinks are included! No reservations needed at the several restaurants except hibachi:)
There’s some type of show or entertainment every night….and activities throughout the day:) I didn’t book any excursions, but I believe the hotel provides that option. It’s a blast you’ll love it! 😊

are the whirlpools heated or are they like the regular pool? And was that a free tequila tasting at the resort? how do you find out about the daily activities?
sorry lots of questions! the cabanas on the beach that look like beds, do you have to reserve that or pay extra or is it first come first serve?
Hi there
Whirlpools aren’t really hot. Probably same temp as the pool. And yes the Tequila tastings are at the resort for free. Just gotta sign up with activities director. You can find activities on the app, on a list inside Cancool, or just ask the activities team. Lots going on everyday!
I have seen a number of reviews saying the food wasn't that great. How was the food in your experience?
Good food! Buffet had lots of options. Restaurants smaller portions but good. Not 5 star quality, but above average in my opinion:)
Do you know if kayaking and water activities were free?
They had free snorkel gear you could check out. I don’t remember kayaks there though.
Is it an Adult only? I've only been to MX once beginning of this year at the Riu Peninsula. Would you consider this somewhat similar? ooops Also going to ask. Do all the rooms or any have a full balcony that you can sit on a chair and relax?
No it’s not adult only, there are kids around here and there, but not a ton. And there are a couple areas for adults only…so that’s nice. I haven’t been to Riu Peninsula so I can’t comment…all I can say was we really enjoyed the Royal Uno!

Hi, Is there any special dress code for the restaurant? Can I wear flip flop?
I don’t recall a dress code but no one is wearing bathing suits. People do seem to want to dress up a bit for dinner. But the buffet is always an option if you want quick and casual;)

Haha yes they are! Most people are in the pools or ocean everyday so they better be! 😎

was it red flag all week ? you couldn't really go in the beach?
Yes the red flag was up most of the week but people were def in the ocean…just a warning for rougher waves
Do they have a buffet for breakfast , lunch , dinner and how is it
Yes buffet all day for all meals:) Very good! 😊
