FYI, Bessy makes the screw clamps "FSZ 120, 300", the quick clamp "FS-HZ 160", and the "Clamping Elements MFT-SP" for Festool. And probably other items as well.😎
    Excellent review, thank you! 😉
    All the Best,

Yes! Thanks for watching. I bought the Bessey version of the quick clamps to save since they're essentially identical and a little cheaper. My understanding is that they no longer have the "GERMANY" stamp on them and both models are made overseas.

One of the advantages of having the bolt loose in the Festool knobs is that you can swap our for a longer one if you have a thicker MFT style top, as I do with my workbench, which is 1 1/2" maple with a hole pattern added later.

Great job on the video. My only suggestion would be to add links to the item(s) you’re demo’ing so your viewers are able to quickly procure them if desired.

Thanks! I specifically didn't include links because I didn't want the video to seem like an infomercial. I can totally see the usefulness of a quick link though, so I'll consider that for future videos!

I have the bessey clamps and when I clamp mitered pieces against a UJK Assembly Square, it is too strong and starts deforming the square. Also with a jig I made to domino picture frames. I works really hard on the jig full force. I always leave around an 8mm gap before I start clamping so I get just enough clamping force for what I need, without putting the extra stress on the jig or square. Do the festool ones have the same problem since they don't travel that much?

I did exactly the same with the gap, think I forgot to include that info in the final edit. The Festool pushes about half as hard and feel a lot more gentle. I reach for them first if I'm doing a delicate or light duty application

For the difference in money I'll buy the Bessey.

I think that's a reasonable conclusion, they have lots going for them!
