Wow I can't believe you did that yesterday it was really wet in the morning when I was there. Absolutely amazing, thanks for sharing and the brilliant driving this season.
Well it's certainly an eye catching title. But if we're talking about fast hill climb Westfields then I would have thought Ash Mason's takes the prize ;) Though to be fair, it's no longer in roadgoing spec, but it's still a "road car".
Now you will get a electric car with powered suction downforce that can run for 2 mins only and tafe all the records, like the joke at goodwood. How elec and IC can share the same events is beyond me.
The McMurtry Spéirling can run for longer than 2 minutes, but I know what You mean. That's why they run in different classes. Imo they can share the same events because they are astonnishing sports- or even racecars as well as the combustion engined sports- or race vehicles are. Btw: Recently some young Swiss engineers have developed an electric racecar that probably could run this 40s hillclimb not even in "ultra eco mode", but it can accelerate 0-100km/h in 0,956 seconds! Seeing that car at Goodwood (or so) would certainly be an enrichment.
@@emma.j.nation But if it wasn't road legal, it would not have, nor need to display, a valid number plate? In this case a Q plate which means the vehicle has had to undergo a "Type Approval" in addition to any MOT test, which would have been pointless (and a waste of money to boot) if it wasn't going to be driven on the public highway.... that was kinda my point?
Bloody hell that thing handles a treat . Well driven 😊😊😊
Brilliant bit of driving ,well done .
Thay looks amazing! Scary fast
Astonishing. No other word for it.

I remember manning the hotdog stand in the early 60s'.... a shilling each with onions..
Some info/video about it would be great 👍
Good work !!!!
Great driving as well as a great car!
Great, but who what how?
Power and weight?
What are the specs of your Westy?
Man that car has a lot of understeer dialed in
Hooked up sweet like on rails

Bring it on.
Get that wrong there’s a lot of gardening!
But you get plenty of topsoil to take home free in the car......
@@royster3345 Ah yes of course and it is now Autumn!
this car is the fasted road car? Is this thing road legal?
Yes road legal
Does the Q plate registration not give it away?
@@nickmaclachlan5178well, technically, no it doesn’t give it away, but it does allow you to check that yes it has a current MOT
