Note: Dim Sum 1968 should be Ding Dum 1968! Doh!

HK is still one of the best international cities for quality food.

Really excellent video. Love how to rate the places and also show the prices. Really useful.

youtube algo did me good with this reco. haven't been back to HK so the the commentary makes sense to me especially on the michelin star restaurants which get way to overcrowded and essentially overrated as the experience falters.

Thanks! It was my first time in 6 years as well. Definitely fewer Western tourists compared to before. Food is still good as ever!

Sounds more like an advertisement than a review. 😂

Nothing i had was really bad, so I'm not going to go out of my way to bad mouth them. I did say Ding Dum 1968 was just average (but still eatable) ;)

Don't go to Yat Lok for Roast goose and the staff are rude 100% and force you to order the 1/2 roast goose

Haha ya not my first choice but it was so close to my hotel. Just needed a fix. Most people around me ordered duck with rice. I wasn't pressured at all. Wish they told me there was extra charge for a doggy bag :)

Hong Kong is not the same place like it used to be....I rather travel to Singapore , Malaysia or Taiwan if you like chinese foods.

Yeah, there were fewer tourists (especially Western) compared to 6 years ago, but the food was still good I thought! Also much closer to Japan (where I live) than Singapore and Malaysia.

I frequently travel to SG, TPE, and HK. HK by far has better food and more variety, it’s not even a comparable.
