your first mistake is you didn't have enough debuffs, you will realize how much difference the dmg from green status to yellow status, if your nagisa is that good and your aru is not maxed out, then use S.saki + minori + nagisa because Saki will buff your nagisa, and minori isn't needed max build to be strong in insane, the boss gives dmg debuff on your strikers team so striker like aru never can compete for dmg with special dps in this raid, you should use S.saki, S.hoshino, Koharu, Mina, Nagisa, Minori (saki + mina will be 5 debuffs and you will need to reapply this on time when the boss use the red aura) nagisa and minori should be used to hit the group choir in phase 2 and 3 to maximize the dmg, only hit the choir in the middle one time each phase to end them and fill the groggy bar( which if you stun the boss just in time phase 3 end then the boss will delay in the oneshot that wipe your whole team and give you more time in phase 4 to spam your skill), and if this still not enough then in team 2 just borrow someone Mine because MIne alone can do 4 debuff + one more debuff like Noa and all the red aoe you have left

We have all these students available and everyone uses a cookie cutter party. Also, how do you you max out relationship? I am stuck in the 20s for my best leveled and geared characters.

Don't have any good debuffers and my best team with a borrowed NYE Haruna gets me 6/10 of gregorious's HP bar. Have maki, akane, chehiro, kirino, 2 star chise (no debuff), bunny toki, shigure... are my strikers that are on the can debuff list. Specials are hare, airi, and kotama.

Instead of borrowing NYE Haruna, you better try borrowing student with multiple debuffs like Mina or S.Saki to attack Greg. Then use AOE students to attack the choir. Getting the Greg counter to green will cause him receiving 200% damage. I think you should have Maid Yuzu or Swimsuit Miyu because they were free students from current and past event. You can use either one of those as special unit. I guess you don't have many students because saving gems for future banner? 😆
I'm actually the same level as you approx (59 right now), my guild is kind of dead with the short version of it that the best unit I can borrow being sHoshino (No good debuffers or great AOE dps). I can kill Hardcore before the final phase change using a cobbled together team of Hina/Megu/sHoshino/Kirino + sMiyu/HotSpringNodaka. My debuff count only went up to yellow as the highest since I did not have the units to be able to bring it to green. To spare specific details of my own clear I'd say the general thing to aim for if you're really lacking is borrowing a really good striker student who can put on multiple debuffs OR a special who can do a ton of dmg like Minori OR even a striker healer like Koaharu if you have two good special options that can do good dmg or apply good debuffs. Which one to go for I think depends on if your own units have the dmg output to take advantage of a green debuff counter that would come from borrowing a strong debuff student. In the case that you decide to go for borrowing the dmg dealer instead of debuffer, I'll say that Kirino entirely by herself *should* be able to keep the boss constantly on yellow debuffs entirely by herself with some attention. Or at the very least during key dps moments. If you choose to go with the debuffer be sure to have decent explosive dps to take advantage of the debuffs. Im too new to list a good comprehensive list but we all should have sMiyu at the very least who's amazing for this raid. Also finally I would not bother with extreme at all once/if you do hardcore. It took me 10 seconds in Extreme to realize that my smol lvl 59 students would have no chance in hell living through it, let alone doing enough dmg.
Yes like everyone else has mentioned you can borrow students and pick depending on who you have or don't have. Nagisa, Minori & Swimsuit Miyu are notable damage dealers.

You really want time your skills to hit when the counter is green, there is a massive damage bonus if you do

I tested with UE40 Hina earlier, she didn't do as much dmg as the other units
